When Melethia was done, she saw that Ed was still there.
"That was a song I knew back home." Melethia said, "I guess I still miss it. I kinda also miss my family. I kinda have a family here, if you call it a family. I kinda think Soren doesn't want to be around me. I haven't have a clue where Isamu is. I don't know what to do."

Ed nodded, giving a slightly wolfish frown. She glanced around at the mention of Soren's name and realized there wasn't a hint of him around at all. The wolf shrugged, not considering it important, and looked back to Melethia with something similar to sympathy. Ed grinned at her as though saying she'd hang around for Melethia.

"I do wish Soren was here." She said, "I wish Isamu was here." She petted Ed a bit. "I know you want to stick around me for a bit. Thanks. Christmas is something I hate to spend alone."

Which translated to: "No problem!"
She resumed wagging her tail, all the while wondering why it was so quiet throughout the mansion.

Melethia looked around. "Where is everyone?" She then looked back at Ed, "Think we should see what's up?"

The wolf nodded, wanting to see where everyone had gone. They were preparing for a party, right? Party preparations shouldn't be so quiet! Ed barked several times in an attempt to wake people up from whatever was keeping them quiet.

"Hello?" Melethia said in her normal volume. She looked around. "This is weird. Where is everyone?"

Also perplexed, Ed put her nose to the ground and started sniffing around for the nearest sign of life. She still seemed happy despite the eerie stillness, her tail thrashing the air behind her.

Ed paused for a moment to stare forward. Then she turned, shaking her head somewhat regrettably. Normally things were quite busy — had everyone gone somewhere else? It was Christmas after all, or close to it, or something. The wolf put her nose to the ground once more and started shuffling down a hallway.

Amelia hopped down the stairs and found Ed making her way across the carpet. "Hi there," she told the wolf good-naturedly. Amelia squatted down carefully, smoothing her skirt out to stay decent, and scratched behind the wolf's ears.

Amelia's eyes went up from the top of Ed's head to Melethia's face, high above hers. "Hi there!" she said cheerfully, not standing up just yet. "You look to be in a good mood today. Felt like a change of fashion?" she questioned innocently, gesturing to the white dress.

"Yeah." Melethia answered, "Sometimes during winter I wear white intead of my usual black or dark colors."
(You are on the right track. She usually wears dark colors)
