Though I do have a question. I thought the water body people would be weak to fire of lightning jutsu, not earth. Could you explain why?

Because i checked out the elemental Table and its different than like the world we know.
Fire is weak to water - Water is Weak to Earth - Earth is Weak To lightning - Lightning is Weak to Wind and wind is Weak to Fire. as the wind makes fire stronger.
