The guards took note of the glass bottle flying towards the doorway, and immediately moved away from the door to try and avoid it. With the room the man was in, it was hard to tell if it would be acidic, poisonous, or explode. With the last option a possibility, the guards put a fair amount of distance from themselves and the bottle that was about to smash against the wall.
This... gave CJ plenty of time to do what he needed.

"EXPLOSIVE?!? Why the hell didn't I think of that?!?"It's pretty genius. If you were Arell . . . look I think I saw something over there. I think that one guard in the movies always drops a gun somewhere! "Really?"I think so. Either that or it's just a ******** it. GOING FOR IT!! Besides, even IF I die, I got an idea!!" Well, using the acid as the decoy, C.J. dove for the gun someone left on their haste out of the room. Picking it up, he pointed it at one of the guards and opened fire. "Nothin' personal, boys. I got a few friends that wanna make a quota." he said just before the blast. BANG!!

A few guards tried to return fire, while others tried to find some sort of shelter within the hallway. The rest, unfortunately, weren't lucky enough to be able to get out of the way.
The two men standing inside the room grinned as they watched the young man completely turn the tables on his captors. What was supposed to be a dull day was turning out to be quite interesting.
"I doubt the elevator that was used to bring you here is working, which means these men are the only ones you need to worry about." one of the men said, trying to be heard over the gunfire.

When Batwoman slapped the water raining in, Deathstrike saw the move for what it was. Instead of just ducking, Yuriko pivoted away on one of her legs almost like a bizarre ballerina with the splash attack only catching the assassin's ponytail. In the blink of an eye as Brenda would have fully registered the duck, Yuriko make a spinning kick toward Batwoman's face at full force -- Lady Deathstrike could hit close to ten tons of force. Either the lightning fast sweeping kick would either connect or force Batwoman to lean away -- considering if Brenda ducked down her face would be dangerously close to one of Yuriko's claws. Again this was a measured move. The Japanese assassin used her momentum to pivot around and crouch down to launch a second sweeping kick to knock down Batwoman with a full force leg sweep.

"No s**t? Cool!! Makes my job easier . . . now just lay down y'alls weapons and maybe, MAYBE I'll be able to convince the two invisible spirits NOT to take your collective asses down to the river Styx." C.J. mentioned, keeping his gun trained. Well it was a little late for about two of 'em. The others he was hoping they would listen to reason . . . wait, reason? You mentioned two INVISIBLE SOUL-TAKERS!!! That makes no sense at all!!
"So? That's the most logistical reason we have here!! Besides, what would YOU suggest?! Arell coming in here and going Donkey Kong on these assholes?"
No . . . AIDEN drunk off his a** coming in here and going Donkey Kong on those assholes.
"Part of me wants to see this now. Yo, other writer. Onky-something. Yeah, you!! Make this happen, please!!"
*facepalms with a sigh* Pay no attention to him, folks.
((Hey, blockheads. Do you not realize that one of those guys could have been SHOT and us not know about it?))
Uh . . .
"Oh . . ."
With that new tidbit in mind from the boss, C.J. really started hoping that his two new buds didn't get shot from all those bullets that missed HIM . . . surprisingly.
"Nah . . . have you EVER seen TV? Mooks can't hit the broad side of a barn!!"

Unfortunately, one of the two “invisible spirits” was busy looking down at the robe he wore while CJ had the conversation with... erm... himself. What was once merely a very aged robe was now riddled with bullet holes. ”Well... I suppose I will have to wear that clean white scarf now.” he muttered.
The other man grinned. ”On the bright side, we don't bleed.” he pointed out. Being dead had that nice little perc.
Also unfortunately... this meant the mooks COULD hit the broad side of a barn. And with the security cameras that were on this floor, they knew that their boss was definitely watching them. Giving up to this guy would NOT make the boss happy. And frankly... getting shot was a better way to go then having the Kingpin snap their backs in half.
The other guards exchanged glances, then trained their guns on CJ again.

"Well . . . y'all REALLY wanna do this?" he asked before smirking. "Oh, well. Looks like I beat Arell's kill count!" he said and opened fire, hoping to get that one guy's machine gun. That could come in handy.
"D'OH!! Why didn't I get him first?!?"
Uh, that dude you got the gun from dropped it. Take what you can ge- JEEZ! Those two got wrecked.
"Yeah, good thing they can't bleed or there's NO WAY we'd get a PG-13 rating."
With all the times we've said "********" in this RP ALONE, we're almost to NC-17!

Swamp-Surfer *claps hands together* Alright... waited long enough for others to continue on. Gonna just keep on going with our bit. The guards opened fire back at him. A few went down, while the others focused on getting a good shot or two in. Two of them... actually making their mark. One bullet sliced through CJ's gun arm. The second bullet went clean through his chest. Both painful injuries, but... surprisingly... not enough to hinder or kill. Could have been the adrenaline. Could have been the two spirits keeping their word that CJ wouldn't die as long as he made a body count. Who knows. The two spirits grinned either way.

C.J. watched the two bullets go in . . . surprisingly enough . . . he didn't seem hurt? "Heh, that tickled." he said, throwing the empty gun and picking up another gun that one of the dead guys dropped. "Seems to me like Fisk's gonna need more janitors." he said as he set the gun to automatic fi- oh NO . . . really? That's the BEST pre-asskicking sentence you could come up with?
"I'm sorry, but I was kinda SHOT. TWICE. Cut me some ******** SLACK, dumbass!!"
Okay, okay! Sorry!! SHEESH! I keep forgetting you're that testy!
"Consider THIS a reminder!!"
C.J. opened fire in a wild blast, hoping to take out as many as he could. "THIS IS WHAT YOU ******** GET FOR KIDNAPPING MY GIRLFRIEND, BITCHES!!!!" he shouted loudly . . . trying to be heard over the gunfire.
"ALLCAPS RAAAAAAAAGEEEEE!!!!"

Skuld HJG ((Gah, sorry for not posting. I was stuck on what to do.)) Brenda managed to dodge the first kick, pivoting away just enough to avoid Yuriko's booted foot. The second, sweeping kick however, managed to connect and briefly trip Brenda up before she managed to regain her balance, backing away a bit from Yuriko and shifting her defensive stance a bit.
"You're good..." she said, her voice just loud enough to be heard over the waterfall. "But I don't have time to choreograph a Matrix sequel, as fun as that would be." In a flash of movement, Brenda took out a flashbang and tossed it at Yuriko's feet, hoping to stun the other woman enough to escape quickly. If not, her mind was already calculating various other methods to incapacitate Yuriko.

If it makes him feel any better, he should have a nice relaxing break after this whole Fisk fiasco. Granted Savage did go to the Lounge earlier to gain info on both CJ and Misty so he could find them and their full history and what-not.... and there's that little contract with Hades now....
….
Ah well, on the bright side they should have at least a days rest after this.
The guards nearly dropped their guns when they seen the blood stain the man's shirt from the gun shot wound nearly square where his heart should have been.... and stand completely unphased by it. Unfortunately that surprising distraction was enough to give them zero time to react when CJ opened fire on them again. All but one guard went down in a rain of bullets. The single lucky guard took shelter behind a metal table that had been knocked over earlier.

C.J. smirked when the poor sap thought that a TABLE would be sufficient enough to hide from C.J.'s rage factor, which despite the Marylander's wise-cracking, fourth wall-breaking, humorous demeanor, this time, C.J. meant business . . . and business was a-BOOMING! Obviously pulling a card from Arell, he sauntered over to the table, gripping the survivor by the scruff of his neck. "C'mere." he growled as he threw the man to the ground, putting a knee on his back and hastily rigged him up to the electrodes.
"Now listen here, you slack-jawed pathetic excuse for a Cretin. Your boss kidnapped my girlfriend. Needless to say with your dead homies in here, that I'm not only really ******** PISSED OFF, but if you don't tell me what he plans to do with her and where they are at this current moment, I'm gonna wreck your s**t up so hard, even the Black Lantern Corps won't take your sorry a**!!" he growled, powering up the device slowly and deliberately, he glared at the man under his knee.
"Now . . . where are they . . ." he growled.
On another note . . . where the HELL did this side come from?!
"Let's just say this day's rest is gonna be WELL earned!"
*gulp* Duly noted. Do NOT piss you off!!
((You ain't kiddin'!! I'm glad I'm not in HIS shoes right now!))

The poor man yelped when CJ grabbed him by the scruff and slammed him into the floor. Once his head was clear enough to register what was going on, his eyes immediately went towards the machine that CJ was controlling. It didn't take him long to realize just what the thing was. It also didn't take him long to start spewing out everything that came to mind.
"I-I-I-I-I don't know man! We were just told to come down here and make sure you didn't go anywhere! After you busted her out the last time, the boss didn't want you messing things up again!" the man began. His voice panicked. "But I think things already got messed up. We were called to be on guard before you guys even got here. I don't know, something about the medical room being full of blood and the b*ch wasn't there. I-I-I don't know where she's at. They're moving someone up to the roof, but it's one of our female guards!"

C.J. got really annoyed at his babble. "Did you REALLY call her that?" he asked, his finger one twitch away from pouring enough electricity through the guy to power New Jersey for the rest of the week. "I oughta turn you into a living lightbulb for that quip, but I don't have the time. Now FOCUS!!" he growled, kicking the man in the side.
"Female guard? Any reinforcements with her? Don't lie to me now . . . or your a** is GRASS." he said, a quiet, tranquil rage about him.

"Gah! I-I don't know!" the guard shouted after feeling CJ's foot slam into his ribs. "I-I really don't know! That group had their orders, we have ours. I-I think they have other guys with her. Taking her up to the rooftop to the helicopter to move her out. I-I don't know why. Distraction I think."
