Haha I'm not in college anymore. I actually "graduated" in May.
By graduated I mean I dropped out because I was sick of wasting my time at a community college and transferred to the French Culinary Institute.
It's not a college, but more of a career specialty school. So they don't do the whole semester thing. Plus it's only a 9 month school program. So there's no point for a month off.
I only get off for two days on Christmas and then two days for New Years.

Kinda a story:
My one friend (gf's brother) had a girlfriend last year. But they began to talk less and less. She didn't return his IMs, emails, texts or anything. One day out of the blue, just before he was about to break up with her, she sent him a text saying only "yay snow".
So for that past year we've kinda made fun of him for it. He's a cool guy, so he laughs with us at the ridiculousness of it. This year he got a new girlfriend. The same thing began happening a few months ago. They hardly see each other or talk. And lo and behold, this morning he gets a text from her saying "yay snow".
xDDDD
We concluded that any time it begins to snow, it signals the end of any relationship he may have.
haha that is soo weird! xD

She woke up and evidently now was taken out
of intensive care and is in recovery now. I'm visiting her tomorrow after
I get my surgery. My parents are coming to drive me since i'll be on pain
meds for who knows how long.

I was walking down my block and I'm looking at our foot of snow and I look at a yard and in the yard, right by the sidewalk, two little kids had written, "HELLO!" with their footprints and hand prints on either side of the word. It really made me smile.
