Alicia glared at Gabriel angerly. What was his problem? Who does he think he is, pulling me around like I'm some servant? Hmph! Prince indeed! She roughly pulled her hand from his.
Quickly, she turned to look at Laung, as her eyes widened. "What?! Thaled?!" she repeated, feeling her heartbeat pick up. "We have to hurry, then! Louise... we can't let Louise die!"

"Already?!" Alicia said shrilly. She was starting to panic, due to the fact she had been trying to stay calm for too long. "We wont catch up! It's impossible! We wont make it, and Louise will be... Louise will be..."
Even as she tried her hardest not to cry, her throat tightened, and tears sprung up. She had admired Louise, and had always wanted to get to know her more. This can't be happening... she thought. Thaled... how can we hope to even attempt to get there?! L a u g h it all off in your face...

Almost immediately Alicia felled calm. Was this some sort of power Laung had? She stopped crying and brushed away her tears. "Okay..." she muttered, feeling warmth seep into her cheeks again. She tried not to think of it too much, and instead, focused her thoughts on saving Louise. She had to stay strong...

Laung ran over to the nearest horses for sale and looked them over
"They are fast enough" He paid for them and help Alicia on to one and gave Joey to her. He gave one to Gabe and then got on one himself
"Come, we must ride hard"

Alicia walked quickly, keeping her eyes trained ahead. Occasionally they would drift to Gabriel, but she pushed him out of her mind. She was certainly upset with him, and wasn't planning on saying anything to him for a good while. If he thinks he can just drag me around whenever he wants, just like him, she thought, thinking of Kain, then he has something else coming!
When they reached the stables, she smiled softly at the horses. It had been so long since she seen one, and they brought back memories of her childhood. She tried to ignore Laung as he helped her onto the horse, and held Joey tightly. "Let's go!" she said.
