Shadow whined and slipped into the room, nosing Kimmi. He'd sent the other four back to get Fillup. Shadow wouldn't leave his new friend though.
Fillup looked after Kay, wondering what it could be. He'd seen the Spencer fellow, and he'd had a suspicious feeling about him, like he had when he'd seen his brother. When four of the cat-beast ran in and grabbed him, bodily lifting him in their mouths, he started to think it had something to do with him and dead-heads.
The cats dropped him in the doorway, a little shaken from his ride, but not harmed. He stood, brushing himself off and fingering his shotgun;s saftey "So" he started, seeing Spencer;s motionless body "I'm guessing something happened I should know about?" he asked.

Kay picked Pinky up and sat her in her lap. Kay took Pinky's face and made her look into her eyes, "P. I need you to tell me... Did he hurt you?" she said, her voice so think with concern you could feel it in the air. "Did he do anything to you?"

Kimmi's hand went to her neck and her eyes flitted to where the epi pen like needle was laying on the floor. She wasn't sure if she was actually cold or if she was in shock. "I killed him before he could bite me." She said softly her eyes landing on Spencer.

Kay spotted Pinky's hand flitting to her neck. "Let me see..." Kay said moving Pinky's hair out of the way. She examined the wound and then leaned in and sniffed, letting her sixth sense take over. "You're clean. Good thing he didn't use that to infect you. I'd really hate to have to slice my wrist again." she said trying to joke around, relived that Pinky was okay. Kay turned to Bubbles, "She's fine. I'll explain everything once I've taken care of P." Kay stated as she turned back to Pinky. Kay took Pinky's face and turned it to face her again, "It's not your fault. He was your brother. But the Puppet Master changed him. Be mad at him, not yourself...You did what any little sister would do. You trusted your brother... He used that against you."

Kimmi closed her eyes. "He wanted me to be like him. I don't know what that stuff was, but he said just a bite and I would be like him." She sighed and her head lulled in Kay's hold. "I'm cold." She muttered.

Kay took off her jacket and wrapped it around Pinky. Picking her up gentle, Kay held her to her chest as she turned toward the door. "Meet me at your truck back at camp... I have to take care of Pinky first." Kay said to Bubbles as she passed him. "It's alright P....I won't let anything else happen to you." she whispered as she walked down the hall.

Kimmi cuddled into her warmth. "What did he do? What is that stuff?" She asked. She wasn't tired but her body felt heavy like she was, and she was cold.

Kay gritted her teeth, "He used a drug to knock your muscle functions out and make the transformation painless." she said, beating herself up for even thinking about letting Pinky go by herself. "It will wear off in a little bit." she whispered, hugging Pinky as she started to climb the steps. Trying to go slow and easy so that Pinky wouldn't get bumped around to much.

"Well that seems redundent since I'm pretty sure the bite would have hurt." She joked, trying get the angry look off Kay's face. "It's not your fault either you know. I was sure he wouldn't hurt me, I didn't think he would go so far to make sure I stayed with him though." Kimmi gave as much of a smile as she could. "I keep telling everyone I'm not as helpless as they think."

Kimmi snorted. "Remember the zombie in the cave where I found you passed out?" She asked as she tried to move anything and couldn't. "I told the others you did it, before I got their." She smirked slightly.

Kay sighed, "Greeeeat! Now they think I can kill zombies in my sleep now!" she joked, tensing when she realized Pinky couldn't move. She releashed the tension, not wanting to worry Pinky over the medicine doing exactly what it had been meant to do. She reached the floor they had set up shop and opened the door without ever letting go of Pinky.

"Khana figured it out. No one seems to think I know how to use a weapon just because I don't carry one. Even Spencer underestimated me." Kimmi frowned as she realized that not only could she not move but she was rapidly loosing feeling. "Uh am I supposed to not be able to feel anything?" She asked not sure if she should be concerned or not.

Kay faked a smile, "You didn't get the whole 'loose all muscle functions' part of our conversation did you?" she asked. "You know for a smart girl, you sure can be dense sometimes." Kay teased, trying to help keep Pinky's mind off her inability to move. She walked through the light station they had set up earlier and stepped through the window, heading toward the god-awfully slow lift.
