I think I qualify for this. My pink one only has 1.94 days till it hatches and it doesn't even have a crack in it!! Please Help it. The others are nearing their hatching date too.

Not a good day for emergency dragons! Lots of quick deaths I read, and I was offline at work -including commute I'm gone for almost 12 hrs- so I couldn't do anything for those that did have a 'real' few hours left. But I went through and I think I picked up anything that wasn't dead yet, except for the four eggs that have over 4 days. Please post those in the regular egg spam thread, or add them to the egg sanctuary in the main forum. Their stats aren't bad for 4+ eggs, they'll be fine there!

Sheriam Not a good day for emergency dragons! Lots of quick deaths I read, You were missed. biggrin I'm just about convinced that there's a random element to the quick deaths we've been seeing. Out of 50 eggs/hatchlings I checked this morning that had 0.10 or less time, 18 died with 0.05 or more remaining. Quote: and I was offline at work -including commute I'm gone for almost 12 hrs- so I couldn't do anything for those that did have a 'real' few hours left. I've been busy today, and afk a lot this afternoon, but I've managed to do some spamming and hatch a few via Yarold's and Hydra.

Added the last batch, seems to be doing better so far.
Are you on the dragcave forums? Someone asked about it there, TJ showed that the two I timed yesterday were at or just over 24 hrs in the database. Remains the question why the 'viewdragon' page wasn't showing the correct time!

Hydra?
I'm making a list of places people can go for clicks on the dragoncave forum, so could I have the link to hydra, if it is indeed useful?

Sheriam Added the last batch, seems to be doing better so far. Are you on the dragcave forums? Someone asked about it there, Then they're braver than I am. That's not quite true, but I'd want a lot more data in hand before suggesting to TJ that there's a problem with the site after the reception I got the last time. Quote: TJ showed that the two I timed yesterday were at or just over 24 hrs in the database. Remains the question why the 'viewdragon' page wasn't showing the correct time! "...they only die when the image is viewed or when the hourly clean-up script runs." That sounds a lot like a server-side cache that's updated regularly or on certain events. If the text is cached and gets served before the image is requested and triggers the update, it could explain the time being off. Regardless, I'm satisfied that the timer is unreliable enough that I should consider anything under 0.10 as probably unsavable at this point and make an effort to get them posted well before then. I'll experiment with checking some hatchlings in that range several times from different IP addresses and compare the results.
