" The Greek diet consisted of foods that were easily raised in the rocky terrain of Greeceās landscape. Breakfast was eaten just after sunrise and consisted of bread dipped in wine. Lunch was again bread dipped in wine along with some olives, figs, cheese or dried fish.
Supper was the main meal of each day. It was eaten near sunset. It consisted of vegetables, fruit, fish, and possibly honey cakes. Sugar was unknown to ancient Greeks, so natural honey was used as a sweetener."

Apparently they didn't have wheat flour for a while, so they mainly ate barley cakes.

Only barbarians ate butter, drank undiluted wine, or milk.

Ok, ok. We still need to figure the meal crap out.
Let's start with breakfast.
Since they ate a lot of bread.. What about french toast? We can cook them on a skillet over a fire. 3nodding
Breakfast food.. Breakfast food.. I like Malt-o-meal, personally. But I don't think that has anything to do with ancient Greece. What about greek omelets? Like with spinach and feta cheese. Mmm. I'm getting hungry. whee
Ok, that covers breakfast.
Lunch?
Salad sounds good, because they ate a lot of veggies. We can also make barley cakes to go with it, which I found out are yummy little fried bread round things.
And not dogs/hot dogs for another day. Plus watermelon, because that sounds fitting.
Dinner!
Shish ka bobs were a good idea last year, so let's have those again!
Hmm... Grilled cheese? I'm having trouble thinking up other things bread-y to eat.
Just because I'm running out of ideas, we could have a tofu/tempeh/mock duck stir fry another night.
