Riker slowly awoke laying on the ground in an alley of a street with his cloths all dirty"mmm"he said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes and then slowly got to his feet, he was broke and couldn't afford to stay at an inn or a house, he slowly got up and walked out into the street"man i need to get some money soon" he muttered as he walked down the streets looking for someone to talk with cause he doesnt have any friends and he was planning on working as a worrier but they would have to accept him first"GAH I NEED SOME MONEY OR A PLACE TO LIVE"he yelled out in frustration and anger at him self, he then dropped onto his hands and knees and pounded the ground with his fist in anger"damn it, Damn It, DAMN IT...."he said under his breath still angry

((ok my computer access is pretty much ok know hoping things will stay that way sorry i have been away for so long life just kind of hits you that way. But I'm back could someone summarize what i missed. would be cool of my second in command could do they honers for me.))

((yay someone new!))
Li hurried through the streets, her newly donned cloak served to cover her horns and hide her feet. She was on her way to the palace- there was no one at the inn and Li wanted to know what the hell was going on.
Rounding the corner, Li was surprised to see a man on his knees in the street. She paused, pity swaying her heart.
He looks like he's lost everything, just like I did
Li's concious wouldn't let her leave this desperate guy where he was-after all, Akki had practically chased her down to help her.
Knealing beside the man, Li placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, recognising his anger as kindred to hers.
"I have a place you can stay, if you will follow me." Li stood, casting one last glance at the palace. She would have to wait until later for news.
Supressing a sigh, Li glanced down at the man, waiting for him to master his emotions.

"thanks...alot"he said turning his head and his emotions subsiding"hey are you ok if i can do anything in return il gladly help you"he said still looking at the girl smiling now"i want to repay you for your kindness" he said feeling a bit better"im sorry i dont mean to be a burden to you i dont want you to feel bad if your in a hurry, cause you look like you are and if you are well you do what you need to first ok?"he said seeming to focus only on her

Li smiled somewhat shyly.
"That's ok, I recognise the pain you're in." Li looked the guy over, he seemed young, maybe a couple of years older than her.
"Someone once helped me like this; she found me on the streets in a similar postion to you, so it feels right to do the same."
A small, treacherous part of Li was glad not to have to go to the palace- what was Kagai's problem with her anyway? Smiling to herself at the thought that she was bringing home another stray, Li looked at the young man, hoping she was smiling warmly.
"My name's Li- how do you feel about demons and the like?"

"im fine with them cause well i am one oh i forgot to introduce myself....im Riker Gray, nice to meet you"he said as he slowly stood up and held a hand out to shake her hand"and thank you again for this act of kindness i want to be able to find a way to repay you i feel as though i need to"he said smiling at her as he looked at her

Ryoko_Youkai Yuuki flew back into fire territory and sought out Ryoko who was waiting outside the palace for Word from Akki to see if the would be mobilizing or not.
'Any word yet?' He said landing in front of her."none yet, but ...i hope she can talk him out of it." Ryoko said with a sigh.---- Inside the palace Akki warily walked forwards towards Kagai "Kagai..are you okay..."

"How long has it been?" Kagai asked he was hunched over elbows on his thigh's hands resting under his pink hair.
His memory was fogy after he passed out he was out cold until know so many days had past wile his body adapted and meld over his power. Know that his body was more intone to its potential he would have only slight problems if he reverted back into his more youthful persona. He looked up with his deep purple eyes he looked pale and very distressed almost panicked even what he was wearing was disheveled.
"What is going on i cant ...remember i.....cant remember after i ....where did i ? i have to ....there must be a reason.....how did i use to remember i have to at least know that ?" Kagai's eyes lowered to the floor again and he simply stared down taking deep breaths.

Have I met anyone who isn't a demon? She thought to herself wryly. "That's probably a good thing, the woman I live with, Akki, is a demon too." Li gestured for Riker to follow her as she turned in the direction of Akki's house. "As for me..." She gestured helplessly. "...I sure am something." Li guided them swiftly through the people on the streets, she was sure Riker would be hungey- not to mention her own grumbling stomach. "Akki is the second in command in the fire clan. She was my first friend here."

"wow!"he said reaching over his shoulder"! hey can you wait for a second i lost my sword ill only be a second"he said rushing through the crowed and going back to where he was sleeping and found his sword and found her again quickly"sorry about that i didnt wanna lose my sword, i mean its really the only weapon i have"he said pulling a bag out with some moldy bread in it"great...."he said tossing the bag backwards into an alley"i have no food what so ever now...."he said unhappily

"Nice sword, you any good?" Li asked as she let Riker into the house.
"I hope you don't mind lousy cooking!" She yelled from the kitchen as she chucked whatever she could find into the wok, using her power to heat it.
Hmm. Better be careful not to burn the food.
"Come and get it!" Li called to Riker as she served some tea.
Realising she had left her cloak on the whole time, Li slowly undid it and kicked it into a corner, her hand self conciously brushing her horns.

'wait..if he doesnt remember..then...best not mention the war..' Akki figured she could use this toward her advantage.

Kagai sat up straight and rubbed his temples he was breathing normally know.
"My short term memory is failing me its very bothersome i don't like to forget things. Maybe if i go back to shadow i could remember what i forgot. The last time this happened it took me a few days or hours to recall what i forgot. Maybe fighting could help as well during battle ones mind is clear like when practicing meditation. Hmmmm......Witch do you think i should try first princes?" Kagai asked he looked over at her and stared into her eyes waiting for an answer.

Li stuttered a little, caught off guard by the question. Li looked at Riker solemly "The village was destroyed by a fire. I'm the only one left." Li turned her face away; although she had accepted her past, it still hurt. A lot. Once she had her emotions under control, Li continued. "I suppose you could talk to Akki about work." She said. "But things have been a bit...tense lately. Yeah. And I need to find out what is going on.
