"Yeah." Just then hie mother walked in.
"You father needs to cool off for a few days. You shouldn't be here." She had no emotion in her voice as she said this.
"I was going to stay at Makis."
"Good. I'll call when he cools off..... Go now." She left the room in a hurry to make sure the boys could get out without interaction.
"Come on." He started out of his room, grabbing Makis hand as he did. He knew his mom was going to be fine. But he might not be if his dad got to him.

He quickly got himself and Maki out of the house. He was thankful that he hadn't met with his father. He all but ran to Makis car.

he unlocked it and got into the drivers side starting up up after putting the bag in his backseat and helping Nathon get settled n his head]t

He got in and settled. He didn't mind the mild pain in sitting against the seat. He just wanted to get away. He started to shake a little more.

He gladly held Makis hand. At the moment all he wanted to do was curl up into a ball. "I hope your moms okay with me staying for a few days." His voice was shaky.

He nodded not trusting himself to speak again. He was just trying to keep it together for a little longer.

he pulled up to his house, grabbed Nathons bag and nodded to Nathon "come on"

He reluctantly let go of Makis hand and got out of the car. He sighed and waited for Maki before walking to the house.

he joined Nathon again on the other side of the car. He took Nathons hand and walked to the house. He opened "mom, We're home"
"we're?" she came around the corner "oh, hello there Nathon, so good seeing you again. how long are you staying?" she eyed the overnight back that Maki had

He tried to calm himself before he spoke, "A few days if thats alright." his voice still came out a bit shaky. He squeezed Makis hand.
