This guild is attached to the thread. If the thread dies, this guild dies. This is just for all of our extra stuff to go that we don't have room for, and things that need to be organized, like GM missions and the exams.

I actually like this Guild/Thread system. wink Works well.
Because most Guilds Only I see stagnate and die due to lack of fresh recruits. And Threads Only tend to have a problem doing this sort of thing.

That was exactly the point that the creators of the Konoha thread had made. Trust me, we debated for MONTHS about how everything would be run. We even borrowed part of another guild to run our first exam, because we hadn't owned one yet.
But, since the thread grew, so did our flexible amount of gold. XD
We've got a lot more flexibility now with it. This way things are organized, and we're checked more often since we're a routine thread that's constantly moving.
(Personally, I'm just happy that in the year we've been functional, we have twice as many pages as the Lu Bu Gym -now called the Cao-Cao gym- when they've been operating twice as long. Take that, C. Fox.
No offense to Seig, he's brilliant, and a well-respected writer in my mind. It's just Fox who gets on my nerves, since he's so anti-naruto, and is determined to write us all off of the face of the earth.)

Haven't seen much of C. Fox. But I don't particularly care for some members of that group. Which, you know, I won't mention because I rather not deal with any flaming because I don't bow down at the altars of Lu Bu and Mata Leon. wink
But this really is a great community. Active, good moderation, wide range of Roleplayers.

Hopeful the other village threads can last along side Konohas. Thats what i truely like seeing different threads corisponding with each other to make a big game. It's like it's a MMO.

We'd like to think that we do a good job of keeping it run well. It has it's down points, like it usually tends to die during the exams since everyone's here in the guild, but we try and keep it as organized as possible.
And everybody seems to like our canon policy. It just makes things more real.

Don't think it counts as "Dead" if you still have massive activity going on in the RP. wink

Okay, well, the thread SLOWS DOWN while we're in exam time. XD That's why we encourage everyone to return to the thread during the down-time, like when the proctors are writing up their evaluations.
We really try to stress that the best formulated fighter/character is the winner of the match, not the persay victor of whatever's written. Remember, the one who surrendered his match in the series was the only one who became chuunin.

True. But who knows what might have happened if the exams weren't interrupted. I could have foreseen Temari putting up a good showing and making it.
After all, in a lot of ways Shikamaru and Temari had a similiar style and demeanor. Least so it seemed. Calm, calculating, keeping their head and forming plans that were effective and didn't put unnecessary risk into the battle.
Not sure if anyone else would have.

Yeah. But she still made Jounin by Shippuuden. Now if only somebody would light a fire under Shikamaru's a**, he'd get going. XDD

Light a fire? Shouldn't Naruto be the one needing it? Isn't he STILL just a Genin? sweatdrop

He seems to be following Temari's just fine.
