"Excellent!" Halmir smiled widely, clapping his hands together. "Wonderful! Now, stay like that, and I'll do my best to draw your likenesses before it becomes too dark."
And he grabbed his sketch pad and charcoal pencil and sat down a short distance away from them and began to draw.
Elberon smiled broadly and nodded to Haradhel. "It was quite adventurous and informative," he grinned, holding Lin out to her. "Unfortunately, the dinner hour draws nigh and I must return to my duties before I can have my dinner, though I wager this young one must be hungry by now."

"Eh? It's past afternoon already?" Lin looked up and around.
She hadn't realized that much time, it seemed not that long ago she was running around though all the after excitement would probably hit her later. When she went to bed that is.
Donovan came out from the kitchen he had taken one last look around the Ranch before having a long discussion with Cindy about what there was. She was going to be kept busy, Feng and Ryu were going to be kept busy, he needed to keep Triton and Lin busy. Well... all he had to do was assign Triton to deal with his younger siblings' physical work, that should keep him busy.
Ancenstors knew, the man was old enough to teach and actually be an instructor.
"You do seem to lose track of time when you're having fun."

Elberon laughed. "It was indeed a full and wonderful afternoon!" he agreed. "But now I must go and take care of the horses. It's their dinner time as well, after all."
And he bowed at Haradhel and Donovan, then waved to Lin and headed back outside.

Haradhel held Lin out to Donovan now.
"It's been a busy day for all of us," she said softly, "and I think that after dinner we'll all be ready for a good night's rest."

"Indeed," Donovan murmured taking Lin into his arms, "Tomorrow is going to be another busy day."
"Because you're going to go away for a while right?" Lin asked looking up.
Which meant it was just going to be her and her siblings with all these people, which to her was just as well.
"Yes, and I'm leaving Triton a list of things you need to do while I'm gone."
"Awww..."

Haradhel couldn't help but laugh at Lin.
"Don't worry," she grinned. "I'm sure that you'll still have plenty of time to be with Elros, and he will have plenty of stories to tell you!"
Elros had told her and Elrohir all about the wonderful time he had spent with Lin, and she was glad that there was finally someone who could make him have some expression on his face.

"Besides, you can't spend the whole time I'm gone just playing," Donovan replied back, "You'll forget what you'll learn, and then what will you do?"
Lin thought about it she didn't want to forget what she had learned, because if she did then it would take longer for her to continue to learning. Now that wouldn't be any fun at all.
"Oh... okay then."

"Don't worry," Haradhel grinned at Donovan. "We'll make sure she does some work every day. Besides, she's always eager to learn more from people, even if it's things about our world and not your own."
She looked at Lin. "But how about some dinner?" she asked her. "You were out, you must be hungry."

"Oh! Dinner!" Lin squealed.
Since she had been of course running about more or less all day doing all sorts of things. She grinned and nodded her head quickly.
"Well then, I'll take you to wash your hands, where is Feng and Ryu?"
Donovan mused since he hadn't seen the two since they took Aliya for sparring.

Haradhel smiled and led the way towards the kitchen. "We just had bread with meat and cheese," she told Lin, beckoning for Donovan to follow her. "I hope that's all right with you ..."
And of course fresh, cool water to drink.

"Yay sandwiches... oh but they would be too big for me... big sandwiches! Without the crust, because I can't bite into those quite yet."
Well that and she would have to make sure it was slice thinly and then she would have to squish the sandwiches in order to make them fit into her mouth.
Donovan chuckled at that as he followed Haradhel, she seemed quite happy enough to have those things for dinner. Then again, it was possible play food (as was most of her food).

Haradhel laughed. "I know, you're a very small eater," she agreed. "I'll try to make it about the size that you would eat it. And you're in luck! It's fresh bread, I thought we might run out during dinner so I made another loaf just before, so it's still warm and very soft! Practically no crust at all."
She took a large, sharp knife, and took the loaf from its place on the counter, then cut the thinnest slice she could - about half a finger's width thick.
"Butter?"

Donovan took Lin over to wash her hands, which Lin did splashing a bit as she looked over. Her eyes bright with excitement, since she always enjoyed eating too. Everything was just another part of her adventure.

Haradhel nodded. "And what would you like on it?" she asked, heading over to the cupboard again. She opened it and waited a moment, her hand hovering just in front of the shelves as she waited for Lin's reply.

"Hmm... just meat, and a thin slice of cheese... and... is there any pepper?" she asked.
She liked pepper, even though it made her sneeze a lot, she liked it still.
"That's it."
She didn't make big sandwiches because her mouth was only so big.
