(Mm post your cp in there as well just to keep track.)
Sujin looked down at the boy who this time actually spoke to him, he kept a straight face. "You're welcome." Sujin didn't really know how to act in a situation like this, the boy probably could have figured it out on his own.

Xen, ever so slowly, opened an eye. He stil felt worn, but he could tell he was getting his chakra back. He took a great breath. Good...now he knew his limit... he would need one more test...but he thought he had the jutsu figured out. He closed his eyes again, the stars shining above going unoticed by his golden eyes.

'I'll be ready then...' he opened one eye darkly. 'Normally students like myself wouldn't be able to do missions, but in these turbulent times, I might be able to convince them to get me one...at any rate, even if they don't, it's only a matter of time before I learn the other two justu as well... Henge and substitution... he opened both eyes now. I feel stronger... even now I feel like I'm on the edge of the next teer of strength... even if it's only the first step...it'll be one step closer to my goal.

He nodded to himself closing both eyes again. He wanted to regain his chakra quickly... he wasn't really in a rush, but time was a precious commodity he'd prefer not to waste.

Xen opened his eyes again, the stars finally coming into his focus. He watched them almost... angrily. He then looked more akin to melancholy. "Hmph...the stars are shining tonight...I wonder...what do they say about me when twilight's come gone, when the gold light fades and the sun moves on...what secrets do they whisper so, when the day disappears and the moon is aglow... Do they speak of truths, mere facts to behold, or do they speak lies as they have of old, for what star was born that hasn't filled it's dish, with a forsaken heart, and a forsaken wish...The stars are shining tonight."

He sat up, his face strangely pensive. He rested an arm on his knee as he seemed to ponder some hidden mystery, then all at once the look faded, and he rose to his feet. He looked up again, the stars reflecting in his glasses "I'll show you... I'll show you I am not like these others, willing to suffer your tyrannous rule..." he looked ahead his eyes determined "Keep my shattered wishes of the past, steal away my broken dreams... I look now to the future, and my destiny is in my own hands... the stars hold no power over me... he took the stance for the justu, his face set. "Just watch me and see..."

Xenon seemed suddenly perfectly lax, his face calm. He was feeling the flow of the chakra, his face calculating and almost serene. He straightened, now stroking his chin thoughtfully. If he theorized correctly, yes... he adjusted his chakra levels, his stance lax as he judged himself.

Finally he seemed to reach some sort of consensus with himself. He set himself back into his true stance, but let his hands dangle at his sides as though idle... deceptively so...

Suddenly his face suddenly breaking into a smug grin he flashed through the hand signs, his voice evenly saying "Bushin no jutsu." There was a immediate burst of smoke, and before him stood a perfect bushin. The clone suddenly mimicked him at his will and both crossed their arms, leaning back on one foot as they said, their faces pleased "Aces."

Xen snapped his fingers in finality and the bushin vanished into the night, back into vapor.

Xenon has gained a new Jutsu...

Bunshin no Jutsu:
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.
Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin.
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu.
Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin.
Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created.
*The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit.
The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod

Xen was walking out of the training grounds, his nose in the small black journal he kept with him at all times. He was scribbling in it madly his eyes glued to whatever was within. He smiled happily to himself.

"Yes... now I suppose I should take a shower." he scratched his head with the pen. "I've been so serious lately, I should take some time to unwind before trying to request a mission tomorrow..." his eyes flashed serious for a brief moment.

'Not to mention I need to find a way to learn the additional two Jutsu...I'd prefer not to have to rely on Sujin anymore than I have to...owing favors can be dangerous in this line of work.'

His face went back to it's care free expression. "Ahhh, what a lovely night."

Xen took a moment for the wind to blow through his hair this fine morning, the sun already well on it's way into the sky. His time at the library had taken him a while, but it was worth it. He'd not only picked up the process to mastering the henge, but he was also now fully aware of another fact. He smiled creepily to himself, sometimes he was so genius it hurt. He let his levity drop and fell serious. On to business.

He frowned looking hard that Wooden post sitting cross from him. His golden eyes boring into it, his focus intense. "Okay..." He quickly formed the hand sign, his chakra suddenly flowing through his joints. "Now..." The smoke exploded around his body. Now, to the normal person walking by, there was two posts in the field. Standing both inordinately still, letting the wind blow by.... There was another explosion of smoke, and Xen was standing mellowly staring back at the only post in this section of the field.

"Hmm..." he blinked. He put a finger to his lip "That was pretty easy." He seemed to think for moment. "I think I'll have time for that mission today after all... oh," he put his fist down into his open palm as though remembering something. "Oh, and I need to remember to get more paper cups as well..." he said with his mellow expression.

Henge no Jutsu:
I decided to use this skill as the first Jutsu to learn. The children's determination will flow faster if I introduce a Jutsu to them first. During this exercise, I used these rules:
Roll a 1d20. You must get an 11 or higher to successfully complete hand seal and transform into a crude image of the object. (We used a large stone) It was required of each student to successfully attempt this 5 times for the first day of training.
I had each student post the following stats with each training post;
Train: 1/5
If a student successfully performed the jutsu, he was awarded +1 Experience and -2Cp. If a student failed an attempt, he would lose -1Cp. To regain Cp they had to rest for one post to gain back +2Cp.
Part II
The final part of the training is done much like the first. I picked an object for the students to transform into, by using the seal of the tiger or sheep, they would transform. After they did their transformation, I would make them hold it for 2 minutes.
Cp: -2 for succesful transformation + -1 per minute held
Train: ?/4
Experience: +10 Experience for completion
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control

He blinked, the jutsu failed, his chakra hadn't been enough... he shook his head. He'd been distracted this time. There was...something on his mind just then. The ability to change ones form... he was really about to learn the ability to change one's form... he hesitated, there was...something strange about it to him... he smiled. "Well...no point counting ones chickens before they hatch."

He returned his full attention to the task at hand. He'd worry about the possibilities after it was all said and done.

"Huh? You sure there was someone around here?"

"Of course I am!" Said the loud mouth girl "I'm positively positive."

"But...ma'am...I...I don't see anyone."

"Look they're ninja alright!? And Ninja are the kind of people we want to talk too!"

"But...ma'am...do ninja have more money?"

"That's not the point! We need donations to rebuild the ninja academy! So who better to ask then a ninja!?"

"Uh...I suppose you have a point ma'am...but I don't see anyone here."

"Arrrrrrrgh!! Let's go look the rest of the grounds then."

As the pair walked away, one of the two posts exploded into smoke and became quite suddenly a rather amused Xen. "Hm, hm, hm, hm, I'm liking the jutsu already. He reached into his coat and pulled out his note book and pen. He scribbled down a note or two then looked up toward the sky, his face almost innocent. "Yes..." he went back to writing before twirling his pen between his fingers shutting the book. "Excellent..."

He sat back against the post he'd been Transforming into, his mind casting about as he write down in his small black book. No living humans besides himself knew what was written in that little book he carried with him, in fact it was a subject of much debate for those that ever saw him writing in it. Still, no one yet knew him well enough to actually speculate. He could have been writing a novel for all they knew, perhaps it was his dairy, a journal he write notes in concerning various unique things... or he could just like random things down whenever he felt the urge. It was rather hard to tell.

Still, there was one thing that was certain, and that was that he, undisputedly, carried it on him always. He'd been about to stop writing when he realized that he should take breather's between attempts. After all, the Henge took chakra, and while he was certain his training had made him stronger than when he first came to this village... his chakra was a limited resource, as he'd learned during his Mastery of the Bushin Jutsu.

He put his book away and just decided to enjoy the morning. The top of the slight hill he'd chosen to train at today was far more scenic than his previous sites. He put his hands behind his head lazily. Resting his eyes.

Xen slid down until he was lying flat on his back, staring up at the sky above. It was a fine day outside. The weather was rather pleasant for this time of year and the clouds were large fluffy and white. He closed his eyes again.

"Hey Mom! Look! Look! That one looks like a pillow! a big fluffy cloud pillow!" Xen laughed running about in circles happily.

"Hey calm down, the clouds can wait until we get to the park." She took his hand warmly and they both continued to walk along.

Xen looked up at his mother "Hey mom?"

"Hm? she looked down giving him her full attention. "Why do the clouds fly so high?"

She laughed rustling his hair. "Well," she said sweetly "I don't know, maybe it's because they like to be close to the stars."

Xen tilted his head "But...I don't see any stars..."

She winked "Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it isn't there. The Sun's sooo bright, that you can't see any of the other stars till he goes to bed."

"Ooooooh. I see..." Xen was nodding "Hey mom?"

"Hm?"

"I thought light was supposed to make you be able to see."

Again she smiled "Well, yes, but sometimes light can blind people to...that's why this world needs darkness, because only together, with light and darkness, can people see."

Xen opened his eyes again. "Hm..." he got up, preparing to try the jutsu again.

The two kids were chasing one another. Both seemed to be much younger academy students. One of the was throwing training Kunai at the other, each one laughing. "Hey Look! Free training posts!" One of them said pointing to the two open poles.

"Hey yeah! We can practice on them, just like real ninja!" the two lined up, each from their own posts.

"Watch this! I've been practicing my taijutsu." The first said proudly, his chest sticking out. He took a rather pathetic stance and ran forward, his palm connecting the wood. He winced, but then turned around like he was some great hero, trying to act like his hand wasn't throbbing. "See...heh heh." he was talking through his teeth to keep down the yelp wanting to come out.

His friend looked ready to do better, he rubbed his finger under his nose confidently "Oh yeah! Check me out, I'll knock this thing into next week!" The boy charged forward, ready to hit the wood....

"Don't even think about it." The boy nearly tripped coming to halt. Both boys looked about surprised.

"Who...who said that?" the first asked startled.

"I did." The Post said plainly.

Both boy's suddenly looked at the wood terrified, the second actually backing away going "H-huh!?"

"Boo."

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!" Both boys turned and sprinted away as fast as they could, running to who knows where.

The wood exploded into smoke revealing a snickering Xen "Heh heh heh, dodging Charities, scaring small child." His smirk became severely creepy "I like this jutsu, I like this jutsu a lot."

Xenon found he didn't entirely mind being a wooden post. And indeed he almost started to sympathize with them. Here they were just enjoying the breeze, minding their own business, when along came Ninja who wanted to beat them up, and thrown increasingly sharp objects at them...yes, if he'd had even an Ounce of empathy or sympathy for anything outside himself, he really might have considered cutting the poor logs a break...luckily he didn't.

He poofed back into himself for the fourth time and decided he take another rest, before making the final attempt.

He chose to go lie down on the hillside for a while, and enjoy the peace of the day...after all, in his preferred line of work, peace, like chakra, would not be a limitless commodity.

The pocket watch glittered in the suns light. As Xenon held it up above him, he was swinging it back and forth absently. He wasn't really even paying attention to his watch however, he was really more considering the mission he planned to take once learning this jutsu was under his belt.

He knew he needed to go to the Kage's office...but there was still the matter if they'd let him take the mission... he shrugged. Regardless, he was getting better and better... still, he had yet to reach his goal...to fully master his talent and Learn a Genjutsu... he closed his hand around the watch and put it away. It was only a matter of time now.

Xenon sat up and looked out over the Training grounds. Around the world their were numerous other training grounds like this one, with numerous other students dreaming to become Ninja...each and every one of them was his competition...the ones he had to surpass.

He pushed up his glasses thoughtfully. It was interesting...of all the places he could have come, of all the fates he could have had....of all the lives he could have had, he was here, he was now... he looked behind himself back to the wooden post. getting to his feet. He'd do it one more time, before trying for the second phase of the recommended training, in which he had to hold it for four minute. He didn't really think he'd have trouble so long as he was reasonably rested before the attempt.
