((Wow. Monster post it is. And more to come. ^_^ ))

Jin slightly smiled at the applause, walking over to Leah as she spoke. He took every word that she released from her mouth and practically memorized them during her lecture. She was right. He was somewhat drained. You could tell in his eyes due to the fade in color in the glow. It would be something he would have to work on. More control for better energy use. But, he was glad he was able to pull it off.
At Auras turn, Jin had knelt down to kept him in regaining his missing energy back a little quicker then standing up. The more relaxed the muscles were, the easier it was to regain energy. Jin watched Auras every move as she went to execute the obstacle course. She was doing very well, and he was glad. He liked seeing the student exile. It was that weird emotional feeling that he never showed or shown signs of other emotions but happiness. When she approached her eighth log, when she started to lose her balance and the log slowly fell from her reach. Before he knew it, there was an explosion, causing the logs to be pushed down and a huge gust of wind to move outward in a intense rate. Jin's eyes flared gray, ready to use all that he had left, but Leah and Amir were already one step ahead of him. Seeing Amir bring down Aura to the ground, Jin took a few steps towards her as Leah asked if she was alright. At Auras nodding, he released a inner sigh, before looking back at Leah. It was then, she asked Amir to demonstrate his power and skill.
Jin watched closely, trying to take in all that he could as Amir ran through the course. It was practically flawless. Jin was amazed and now more determined to push himself to become an expert. If one had watched him during Amirs run, he looked like a little child that had seen the most amazing thing in his life. Eyes wide, mouth partially open and just in awe as he moved gracefully though the course.
One of these days...
Jin thought as Leah proclaimed that this was the end of the class. Nodding, he turned to look at the course and smiled. He would be able to practice on this thing till his heart was content. The thought itself made Jin smile. Though, he would have to practice on his own. He had none he could ask to train with him. He as sure everyone had something else on their mind but training and practicing. Which he was use to. He did everything by himself and it wasn't bad. Though it was lonely sometimes, he got use to it fairly quickly.
For now, Jin knelt down again and rested himself. Once he felt good enough, he would hop on the logs and work on his control, movement and speed. He would also try the small gust of wind ahead of the landing to figure out how stable it was. Jin felt like he could learn more with this then he knew.

((Well, not that much of a monster post. But, for one char... It's decent. XP ))

Leah was already heading back into the building when Amir patted Aura on the head and asked, “I’m going to wait for Phenia, Lilith, and Tsuki, would you like to come?” Aura smiled, but shook her head indicating a ‘no’ and pointed towards the log obstacle course. “Ah, I see you want to practice some more, alright be careful, I’ll be right back with the group to go get lunch and you’ll join us then, right?” Aura nodded an affirmative and watched Amir head towards the building. She smiled reflecting on her three years of knowing Phenia, Lilith, and Amir. They were a tight group of friends and always stuck together. When Aura failed to pass to the intermediate level, she was worried about being left out of the group since the other three advanced with ease, but they stuck with her and helped her practice until, this year, she advanced to intermediates. Aura knew that she could not have done it without them and before they graduated, she wanted to prove that their help was not in vain by passing the advancement test. For a moment she stood their, silent and slightly sad at the thought of her dear friends graduating onwards without her. They had planned to graduate together, but that was before her accident. Taking in a deep breathe she tried to cheer herself. “I can do it! I can pass the test!” Her mind cheered on and she turned resolutely around to see that Jin had also stayed behind to practice. Maybe she could join him? “He is the top student in our class…maybe he can give me some pointers?” She contemplated and strode over to his side. Jin was kneeling down, probably resting, Aura thought and waited at his side, not knowing how to start a conversation, for obvious reasons. She rarely made new friends because of her inability to speak, which made her shy and slightly awkward when trying to communicate. So she just kept to Phenia, Lilith, and Amir…or herself.

[[ Heh, I think I'll pass on the monster post. I've contributed enough, I think. xD ]]

"Heh, right on!" Tsuki said to her classmate, pumping her fist in the air. She wanted Chyna to beat him, and she didn't care what Chyna had to do. Tsuki knew this wasn't just a game. It was more. Only a little more, though. Still, it was enough to get Tsuki to turn her chair so she could spectate the match. Ideas formed in her head of how she could help Chyna, but they were all quickly discarded. Chyna had to fight him alone. Still, she could cheer, couldn't she?

"Woo! Go Chyna!" she shouted. Her own behavior surprised her, as she never had anything to cheer for before. It seemed more and more often that she found her own behavior quite queer. 'This school...it's something. The people in it, the entire place,' she thought, recalling all of the people and things that had made her the happiest she had been all her life. With a vague smile of contentment, she put her elbow on her desk and rested her head on her hand as she watched the match.

The Headmaster made it to the infirmary and carefully placed Emma on one of the empty beds. He could hear a soft, faint cry from the only occupied bed whose person was concealed by the person. If the curtain was not up, he would have consoled Ayla, but that fabric indicated her desire of privacy, and that he would grant.

Then Liriale entered the office, and the Headmaster went up to her and shortened the distance between his mouth and her ear.

"She felt weak and proclaimed that whatever she is suffering from runs in her family. Rest is what she prescribed. She fainted in her room before I brought her here," he said, informing her of the situation in light whispers.

Ayla heard people enter the Infirmary, but kept sobbing quietly. She didn't want to be disturbed just yet, but secretly hoped the Headmaster would peek round the curtain before he left.

Rubbing her eyes slightly, which were now red from all her crying, she stood up to open the curtain enough so she could look out to see what was happening. It looked to Ayla as if one of the Teacher's had fainted, for the Doctor, the Headmaster and the Dean were around one of the beds.

Ayla closed the curtain again, and sat back on the edge of the bed. She really was unsure as to what was happening to her.

Liriale nodded in understanding to what the Headmaster informed her. Sometimes patients made accurate diagnosis for themselves. Since Emma knew of her ailment and had experience with it, then Liriale would respect Emma’s own prescribed course for recovery. Yet she strode to Emma’s side and hooked her up to a vital monitor so she could keep track of Emma’s stats and would be notified quickly if something became unbalanced. Liriale was curious about what ailed Emma. “She looked fine this morning. Could it be an inheritable genetic trait in the family?” Liriale thought to herself as she placed Emma’s arm into a blood pressure cuff. “All her vital stats are normal,” the relieved Doctor informed Headmaster and Dean in a hushed tone. It was then she heard the sounds of someone else in the patient gurney behind them. “Was Ms. Amori still here?” Liriale wondered as she headed to her desk to pull out a new chart for Emma. While sifting through papers, Liriale spotted a post-it note with Akira’s neat writing. Reading it over, she clipped the note into Akira’s patient folder, puzzled. “So, if Ms. Amori is in class then who is in the other bed?” Liriale wondered.

Throughout this process, Nicolas had closed the door into the medical office and was standing quietly next to Emma’s bed. He was concerned about Emma’s fainting, but relieved now that she was under Liri’s care. He waited for the Headmaster, not wanting to disturb Liriale this time.

The Headmaster saw the head peek out of the curtain, but made no indication, nor did he turn towards it. He appeared to stay focused on the fainted teacher. The doctor gave her diagnosis.

"Very good, Dr. Montoya, thank you. I'm sorry to have called you down here so suddenly. Nurse Bone can supervise her and notify you on any changes. Lunch will begin in five minutes, so I'm sure you have other places to be," he said, slowly making the transition in tone from serious to mildly cheerful in his words. "I shall be off, but first I must attend to something," he said as he walked to the other side of the room. He gave no order to Nicholas in his words, indicating without speech that he was free to follow whomever he chose.

Taking his time to give Ayla notice, he opened the curtain that hid the young girl.

"Is everything alright, Miss Cailbrea?" he asked, knowing the answer was not "yes."

Jin's attention was brought to Aura when she approached his side. Turning his head, he made eye contact with her and slowly stood. A small smiled formed on his face as he figured that she was going to be staying to practice. Looks like he won't be lonely for once. Which, he didn't mind. He was just use to practicing alone and to have someone around would be interesting. It was rare. Almost a charishable moment for him. Though, communication with Aura would be slightly challenging. It didn't mean that he wasn't going to try. He was patient, kind and caring. Though being mostly quiet and a loner caused people to think other wise of him. Which, he didn't care. They weren't holding him back from advancing, so they were just there for company in the world to him.
"Hi, Aura." He addressed her with a gentle and soft voice. He knew she couldn't talk, but he knew she would speak with actions and if need be, he could pull out his note book and have her write what she needed to say. He didn't mind. Which ever worked.
"If you want to practice, how about you go first? I'll be close by just in case." He offered, knowing that she would need it more then he did. She needed to control her power. Which, she had plenty of that was for sure. He could help her with that. He had remembered his trouble controlling his. For him, it was mainly his emotions that caused his to go out of control. It was hard to over come them. The anger and frustration of not being able to accomplish simple assignments back when he first entered the school was what kept him from full control. He could remember having trouble making a ball of compressed air, that it would frustrate him to the point where he would try so hard, that he hadn't realized how much pressure he had put in it in a unstable ball and had practically knocked himself out after it exploded and rammed it to a wall. Or, when he was sad, the temperature of the air around him would drop to almost freezing. But, he had managed to control it, somewhat. He could stay calm far better then he could before. But when his emotions started to show, you would know not only by his expressions and body language, but by the coldness for his sadness, the violent movements of air by his anger or the warmths of the air by his happiness.

Ayla looked up towards the Headmaster as he put his head around the curtain. Shaking her head, she spoke quietly.

"Look what happens when i hold a flower, or a piece of paper," she said, reaching out for a flower.

The flower shrivelled up, as it did the first time. She held the now dead flower in her hand. "My hands don't feel warm though, thats what worrying me," she said, hoping the Headmaster knew what was ailing her to feel like this.

((What sized font did I have to use again?))

Jake looked up from his building blo-...books of doom and at Chyna. Her serious expression made him smile somewhat. She really belives she can pull it off...even if I did fight fair and made my boxer stay in the ring. He thought to himself as he examined her with his eyes. "Are you ready to begin?" He asked setting his hands on the controls. "Don't force yourself to unconciousness. Push yourself to the limit, but limit yourself nonetheless."

When Jin addressed her, Aura gave a soft smile back, letting her shyness melt away. At the offer to start first and added, help just in case, Aura felt happier and nodded in thanks. Yet when she turned towards the obstacle course, her heart began to race. Not too long ago she blew down all the logs, whether steady or unsteady. After Aura’s accident in the past, she had become afraid of her powers. Along with that fear came mistrust and it was her mistrust in her powers that clouded her judgment in control and caused trouble. “Focus!” her inner voice piped up and Aura shook her head, held it up and walked up to the first log, which was a low 5 feet. Taking in a breath to calm herself, Aura put her hands up in the air, bent her knees and pushed off the ground. She propelled herself upwards and let one of her bare feet tap the log’s top before resting her other foot. “Alright, this one’s good, now how to get to the next one?” she thought glancing slightly to her left where beyond a gap, stood the next log at 20 feet. “A good push off is all I need to soar above the gap and land on top of the log.” She planned and did just that.

“Alright, test the site…hmm the air waves don’t seem in sync, I bet it is unsteady.” She analyzed in her head while in mid flight. Trying to carefully land on the log, she found her worries were right as her weight caused the log to shift more to the left. “Shoot!” she thought and quickly decided to use propulsion created from her hands just like Amir did when he rode the log. “I’ll try steering it to the right and hop onto the next log.” She quickly thought. Unfortunately, Aura used too much power in one hand then the other causing her log to slam into the next one, hurtling Aura into the air. "No No No!” she screamed, but of course no sound came out of her mouth as she began to fall quickly downwards, back facing the ground.
