Sha awoke in a large room.
"Finally awake?" Lady Desuxis sat in a throne in front of him.
Sha quickly got to his feet. "Why did you do that?"
"Kratos was never going to trust you."

"On Derris Kharlan." Kratos said. Darren looked at him, "Can't you take us there?" Kratos shook his head. "No. They are guarded from me. I cannot take you there. Nor can Yuan, even if he's still at the tree."

"Corrine." Raine ran to her side and then let out a sigh. "She fainted."

Darren darted his arms out and caught Corrine. His left hand landed somewhere, he quickly rearranged his grip. /Oops!/

"What are we supposed to do!?" Ria was clearly becoming frantic. She couldn't remember acting like this in a very long time.... it reminded her of how she childishly lost her composure when she would discover that her brother couldn't do or fix something, all those years ago. Angry at the flooding memories, she forced herself to be calm.
"I mean, if we were able to travel there without warping, we'd never arrive in time, right?"

"Depends on what you mean by 'on time'," she said.
Turning to Darren, Aleda opened her mouth to say something, anything, but the words got stuck at the back of her throat.

"D-D-Derris Kharlan.." Ayame grew extremly pale and started trembling, the mere mention of that place made her remember the horrific events under Mithos's control and the people she had killed without being able to control herself.

"Before something happens to him!" Ria replied to Aleda. "Before they harm him.. or... before he has time to betray us, if that's the case!"
She felt... useless. Her abilities, unique as they were, seemed to be of absolutley no help to the group in their current situation. She wished she could do something. It seemed that they were always relying on Kratos, or someone, for one thing or another.
