It seemed like everybody was late to this game, everybody. But at least they all managed to make it to the field before the referee. She couldn't let herself worry, she had to focus. So once the game was called and the quaffle was in the air, she burst forward with a reaching hand.

When the game started, Rey flew up to watch the tossups while Leon wasted no time and immediately aimed a bludger at the Ravenclaw seeker. Rey's heart dropped when she saw that Glynn had managed to grab the Quaffle; he'd been so out of it in the past two years and so unlike himself that she didn't want to aim a bludger at him, but this was an official game. Flying down, she tried to hit the bludger at him.

To his left, one was flying straight for Rhys, and to his right, another was aimed at Glynn. Marcel gulped. He had to choose who to save. Shooting off to the left, he flew fast, catching up to the Bludger. He swung his bat, hoping to knock the Bludger out of line, away from Rhys and towards Leon instead.

Without giving it much thought, the first year flew after the girls, Diantha failing to steal... so what made him think he might be able? Heck, he'd almost exclusively played as Seeker when goofing around with James! But... Wyatt had been a Chaser, so Dris knew the position well enough, even if he wasn't terribly confident. With a nervous look, he reached out, wondering if he could make the steal. Playing: Chaser

Rey hit the bludger successfully and flew to the side quickly to see who else to hit. Leon's bludger got deflected back at him by Marcello, the first year Ravenclaw seeker, and she flew over to try and save him.

Glynn caught the ball, but then felt a bludger slam into his side. Grimacing, he ignored the pain, but the quaffle slipped from his grasp into the waiting arms of Vannah. Watching the others try and go for the quaffle, he turned and went after it himself, mentally berating himself and reminding himself that he'd had worse happen to him. Much worse.

Rey didn't make it in time and she hissed when the bludger slammed into Leon. She would have hit another bludger at him but it made more sense to aim it more valuable targets, like Rhys who seemed to have spotted the snitch. So she flew down towards the bludger and swung it at him in hopes of giving Aimee more time to get the snitch instead.
