Hopefully, and hopefully the argument has been resolved or will be soon...I'm probably going to get an ear of 'you should have been studying harder' when I tell my parents that my exam didn't go too well =/ Anyway, on a lighter note, just 8 days left before I'm free from exams and back to posting normally 3nodding Also, the fact Jitter brought up that started the conversation earlier reminded me a little of what was posted on Cracked earlier... re-reading it has made me crack a bit of a smile now xp

haha, well, this guy is a congressman, a democrat i believe, and he's married to one of our top aides to hilary cliton (secretary of state). He was married by ex president bill cliton (who cheated on his wife way back when) and has been married 11months. However, thanks to the internet, he sent pictures of his (hehe, no pun intended) wiener via twitter to some chick. Sooo, now he's being pressure to resign and his wife just found out she's pregnant...and personally, were i him, i would change my last name xD

Seriously? That's a fail on the epic side of the spectrum XD Yes, I'd go with a name change too, it makes my glad to be fortunate enough to have a last name that isn't really synonymous with things such as that biggrin

Cherry Ki Right? hah! and yes, im happy my last name isnt exactly common either xD My last name is something like 534th most common in the US. Anyways Cherry, Shinryuu is an Aussie. I don't think news like that would reach him anyways. Oh and his wife wants him to say where he's at. I think if a wife has that kind of devotion still (Because she understand human emotion) then everyone else needs to back off. Out of all people shouldn't the wife be the one to decide? At least that is what I heard. Also did you know that Wiener is Jewish and his wife is Islamic?

As a woman that understands human desires, I can't fault him on a personal level, but I agree he should step down. The reason people are elected to political offices is because they're supposed to exemplify the ideals and epitome of the human character and spirit (with particular social leanings). He's failed this and set a bag example. How many parents want their kids describing they come "from that state that had that congressman who sent his piddler to women on twitter."

I agree that I wouldn't want that kind of thing with kids. But no what we wouldn't know about it wasn't for the media. Also If you think about it when it comes to history. There have been many people to have some type of issues with sex. There is a belief that Roosevelt had a mistresses and he was often seen with one. At the same time Eleanor was believed to be lesbian or Bi and had her own partner that was often seen. I think if they are doing well and have the support of the people then we should care about what is happening. I think Clinton is also a good example. I however do not approve of cheating. In the moral sense I do not approve of it. I try to keep sepration of church and state in my reasoning.

Si, i know he's an aussie, but ya never know what people hear~ and I do believe the man should step down. He's comitted a moral wrong doing and shouldn't be allowed to hold a position in our government. A government that tells us to great people and have good morals etc. Maybe in a few years if he can prove that he's changed but...he can't have changed in a week.

Again on moral basis I would say yes. However I do not fully agree with the statement on what a leader in America should be. Someone who has a moral basis follows the norms and I really really hate people who follow the norms. Then again I'm a ritualist (In Sociology terms). O_o crud, i knew i forgot something >_< ill brt~ anywhoo, I too am very strong with my ideals...now that i can think for myself and i don't just automatically agree with everything my family says. For me, an american leader is someone who should be an example of what to do right. And sexting to a mistress isn't right. Although, I do beleive that our government has bigger problems right now than some congressman who cheated.

That's what and ideal leader is. Not what's going on in politics today. I'm just happy to have a good leader. For me a good leader is someone who may have done somethings but ask for forgiveness and thinks outside the box. Family always shapes politics. My family is Liberal and I'm a shining example.
