Or at least that's how I understand it. sweatdrop If you're looking for more than that, then I dunno. Edit: Unless you mean botting on things like RO, in which case I have no idea. sweatdrop But I'd assume it involves programs that do things automatically, via whatever mechanism. One of my mules got banned for botting... gonk I wouldn't even know HOW to bot crying
Are you running a browser like Opera? 'Cause I know that has an auto-refresh program that has a tendency to ban innocent users.

It takes a lot of time and a lot of luck in being at the right place at the right time. Yeah.. that's too much dedication xd plus, now that I know you can get banned for refreshing the page... mad
It'd have to be really fast refreshing for it to be botting, a human can't possibly refresh as fast as a bot can.

Dr. Fomite L0k1 Kaizoku_Akito plus, now that I know you can get banned for refreshing the page... mad I always clicked view or the forum name to refresh the list, I dont think they can ban you for that. They really shouldn't be able to ban somebody for refreshing the page... Unless I'm missing something huge, there's no rules against that, as long as you're doing it manually. But, hearing about it happening more often is a bit scary. I click on the "view" button too, for the most part. But I'm generally not that fast about it, since I tend to lose interest. sweatdrop
I think the main reason is the unfair gold gain from it, I also heard that it can mess with the server though. Not like a major crash or anything, but slow it down a bit or hog it.
