No, the characters he had either died of unknown causes(as in Duri's case in Theoron. Still confused by that one) or they simply up and left(like what happened in Deralo City)

Shox isn't in the well no more.
And well.. if Kir is taken over by it, then yeah, he would be the new Wrath.
And keeping with this idea, he would have simply.. been a man. Powerful in his own right, but just a mortal.
The whole part about being Destroyer, Entropy, etc. would have been the sword talking through him. Think... Basically what happened to Rick. He was Peter Parker, and then he was infected with the virus, and the virus developed a mind of it's own, and took him over.
Which makes more sense, because you can't very well banish a sword, it'll simply wait patiently for it's hilt to be grasped again. So they shattered it, and scattered the seven fragments to the four winds.
The idea isn't very well developed, and you'd have to play Soul Calibur to make any sense of it..
Just like you'd need to play Tales of Symphonia to get most of the plots we've gone through.

Okay. Now the big question: Are you planning on keeping it like that? Is Wrath going to be that sword? I need to know since...well, Kir's holding it.

 All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches!Let it hereby be announced that:YOu forget, Dusk, playing soul caliber won't make a lick of difference in understanding it, as about 98%(At least) of the people who have played it read maybe the first story for a char they played and then they ignored the story as they had to read it rather than watch it. ...that is all

And forget it, it was just a thought.
And as for Jesse's sword being 'alive' and talking to Kir, it has been around him a very long time, and metals take aura well. So it has a mirror effect, playing out thge two warring halves of Jesse's mind, The Sin, Wrath, and the Virtue, Patience.
