"If you'll notice it seems to be pretty much buried in the wall, while my other leaf is only half in. That is because I put in a little extra energy as I released it, adding to its speed and hitting power." She looks up at him and blinks. "Oh..." Looks over to where he was pointing. "Oh, I see it!" "Now this technique is pretty tricky," he said. "You gotta have timing and you gotta have control. You gotta build up just enough energy in your fingertips to propel the leaf. Too little you'll just end up wasting energy with no gain. Too much and can burn your leaf. Not to mention your fingers. You also have to unleash the energy into the leaf the moment you let go. Too late you'll waste energy. Too soon it burns the leaf. You also have to focus the release along with the leaf to propel it forward. Once mastered the technique can be applied to any type of shuriken. I prefer leaves, though, since it will be easier to tell where you went wrong." He paused his explaination, thinking it over. "Not to mention if your shuriken explodes you wont end up with metal shards turning your face into hamburger."

He slipped a scroll out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Just keep that with you. That tells you the whole deal, complete with illustrations." He smiled at her just as a small kitten brushed against his leg. He looked down at it. "Um, Kitty?" He asked her. "Did you have a litter and didn't tell me about it?"

"Oh, no! You can't eat the kitten. How sad." "Ow." He said as he rubbed his nose, not noticing the kitten slashing at his thickly gloved hand. "I was just joking with you." He reached into a leg pocket and handed the kitten a length of coiled catnip-laced yarn.

Dracore mewed happily as he began patting at the string. He eventuall got himself tangled in the string.

She scrunched up her nose cutely and stuck her tongue out. "Mhm." She sat next to the kitten as he played with the yarn.
