Well bugger, that didn't last long. She had hoped to be far enough away from the veteran chasers, but that complacency had lowered her defense and sure enough. Gideon came. And Gideon went. Screeching to a near halt, she ripped around to chase after him. Once she was close enough to try, greedy hands reached out to steal from Gid.

Actually, when he got to the part about barrel rolls, he he flew straight, thinking he might hurl if he tried to roll. When he managed to get beside her, he reached out, attempting to take the Quaffle before she got to the goals. Savannah spun herself around to chase down the boyfriend of her best friend. (Merlin, that was still weird to think of.) Brushing that out of her mind, she reached out to Gideon once more.

When the game started, Rey resisted the urge to shoot off towards the closest bludger and instead flew slightly to the side to see what was going on; she couldn't afford to make a silly mistake and hit the bludger blindly, especially since this was her first game. After the painful-looking crash of Kyson and Gideon during the tossup (Rey winced in sympathy), the quaffle switched hands back and forth between Savannah and Gideon. Seeing Leon taking care of Fianna, she decided to try and hit Gideon.
