So when I finally start my Scooby Doo live action series next year I'll need 3 voice actors.
1 for Scooby Doo, 1 for Professor Pericles, and the last for a rival mystery group's mascot.

It's not that hard to write a Scooby-Doo story.
The van breaks down somewhere, the gang learns of a local haunting that everyone in town coincidentally believes despite all logic. They split up, find arbitrary clues like a condom and one of them points out that there's something out of the ordinary about a condom during the sexual revolution. They plan a trap to capture the monster, nothing goes as planned, but they still succeed anyway. They then decide for no reason to pull on the monster's head and find out it's some random criminal that could somehow fool a whole town full of people and detectives who have been doing their jobs for twenty years, but he couldn't fool a bunch of curfew-violating teenagers and their dog that fails at English like all dogs do.
The end.

Also my series starts off with how the team gets formed... but without real monsters like the live action version.
