Lord Yawgmoth

Shadowy Lunatic

PostPosted: Sun Mar 11, 2007 10:39 pm

Yawgmoth's eyes turned from Ziven as he'd been about to open his mouth and further insult her supposed master and belittle her for her stupid thoughts but Fox hopped up and rather caught him off guard with his question. "In the worst way kid. In the worst way. We could do with some skull stomping right about now. Any would be hero will do...so long as we can butcher them." Yawgmoth said with another bored sigh.

" Sir." He said shacking his head slowly. " You know that i'm always here for something like that, but you don't find me worthy" He said as he sat down fully with his tail hanging down over the side as it flicked agenst the bottom of the rafter. He almost looked ashamed with him self not being as strong as Yawgmoth wanted him to be.

Yawgmoth shook his head in return. "We know kid, the problem is. It's built up this time. We will kill whoever we fight next. Crow will kill us in turn, if that someone is you. We need to...re-cement ourselves on the battlefield. We need to pull spinal columns out, rip heads off, gut people. We will gladly fight you, but not now. Not when we'd kill you. Trust us kid, once we get going this time we won't know when to quit. Even if it was Crow we were fighting. We know we'd go all the way." Yawgmoth said calmly. He needed, however, to keep Fox's offer in mind. Continually fighting and training the kid would see to it that his blood lust, his lust for death didn't build up to this point again.

Blye eyes rested on Fox and a small smile remained at the corners of her lips as she listened to he and Yawgmoth speak. It took a lot of courage to address someone on such a sensitive subject, especially when speaking to such a formidable person. Nodding her head, she wanted to hear how this conversation would end.

" I see sir, well I wait for you on the field of battle. Hoping I meet your expectations." He said as he looked at him just below his eyes at his check bones. "I strive to meet them and strive above them. Giving your body its just and willing respect." He bowed his head and then started to click his claws together softly. He was eager to show his worth, and hopefully get Yawgmoth's approval

Yawgmoth nodded in return. "We are sure you will not disappoint us the next time you face us on the battle field. You have our skin now, you had better damn well make it worth our efforts in giving that up to you. Or rest assured we will rip it right back off if we feel you are not worthy. You will have to show us, that we were right, in giving that to you" He said coldly but truthfully in a manner Fox would most certainly understand. Yawgmoth turned his eyes back to Ziven for a moment then back to Fox and awaited his response.

Silently she observed they two talking, not wanting to disturb them. She shifted slightly when Yawgmoth looked at her, it was almost as if he was daring her to speak up about that or do something on the spot for that type of threat, even though it was meant as an odd sort of encouragement. In the back of her mind she wondered now if there was a source of this foul mood rather than just pent up energy. Thinking, she remembered that he had injured his hand on that bible and if Lanshor had given him the news .. it was very possible that either of those events may have put him over the edge in wanting battle.

Fox did not say much at first just nodding. " yes sir, I will show you what I have gained and lured for my study by my self. And this time you will be the one that will louse the arm in are little bout. Oh and I will ripe it off my self if I fall to fast and if at all. Following threw on are little deal. " He said just before he burst in to a flock of bats and flew off to Crow's room. He was sleepy for now and knew that this talk was over for now. Waiting for his fight and almost wishing that he was the person he was fighting tonight.

Raising a brow, she made no move to bother Fox or wish him good night. After a moment of silence, she decided to continue trying with conversation and went with a subject she hoped would not upset him too much. "As you mentioned in the Library, Lanshor did return yesterday. I trust he found you?"

Yawgmoth gave a solemn nod. "That he did. And he told me what happened. He figured we would be gravely upset. And perhaps, in another mood, we would be. But hearing of his violence rearing its head, we were proud of the boy for sticking up for his beliefs, for his mother. We were just sorry he didn't kill the poor bastards. It would've taught everyone a lesson about our son. And maybe even taught himself a lesson. Death is everywhere. It is better to embrace it, than to fear it." Yawgmoth responded now bored again since Fox left and he knew Ziven would pose no threat or challenge on the battle field. That he could crush her fairly easily if she weren't at an extreme anger. "He has limitless abilities. But chooses not to use them. Not even for" Yawgmoth shuddered a little. "Good.." he finished. "Instead he lets them rot. As of now, that is our only disappointment with him"

Ziven was silent for a moment, reflecting on her conversation with Lanshor and the events in the forest recently, which she still did not want to talk about, especially not with him. She was lucky Ali did not freak out on her, surely Yawgmoth would, especially on this day where he was already in a foul mood. "Indeed, death is everywhere and we must all face the reality of it sooner or later. Perhaps he needs more time to come to terms with himself. When I was young, I was very cautious, concerned with exploring any new spells because I felt so different .. it could be that he is going through a similar phase, I am certain he will move forward soon."

Yawgmoth shook his head as he leaped from atop the raftors crashing down onto the floor. He rose up as the black liquid drained from his eyes leaving them a gleaming red once more. "You are also weak, and still are. You can't begin to fathom the insane amounts of energy that run through that boy. Hell, sometimes we wonder if we can. We know he has done the impossible. He's actually broken one of our bones. Not even Ali has done that." Yawgmoth said with almost a proud tone. Sure it hurt like hell but it made him proud, proud of how strong his offspring was. "It can be similar in terms of what his mind is thinking, but it will never be similar experience wise. Either he will grasp mastery of his powers and be a walking God among men, or he will lose them to never using them and cause them to decay and weaken. A part of us will indeed die if he lets that happen. And loses his incredible potential" Yawgmoth started walking towards the archway to the stone stairwell. There was still at least one more joy in his life besides killing people. Crow. He would return to her arms tonight. "We are going to rest. Goodnight" Yawgmoth finished with a final bored sigh as he started his way down the stone stairwell.

"Good night." was all she managed after listening to him speak. It still felt awful to be spoken to condescendingly like that but she accepted it because logically she was weaker than him so it was a truth he spoke when saying she was weak. She worried somewhat for Lanshor, hoping that Yawgmoth did not speak to him like that but realized he likely did and that could be the cause for his timid personality.

With a small sigh, she faced the bar again, now hanging her head slightly. As per usual, she was alone again. Conjuring herself another cup of tea, she sipped it quietly and wondered how her master and other friends were. It had been so long since talking to her master, weeks since seeing friends around RDS and days since she had last seen Reeve. Frowning slightly, she wondered to herself why she would think of the delay in meetings separated like that. Shaking her head, she tried to reorganize her thoughts, not letting herself dwell on things she knew she could not have on this night. Yet .. she could not. Resting an arm on the bar, she raised her hand and rested her head on her fingers and continued pondering things.

After a while, she thought she felt a familiar presence just outside the bar. Something seemed a bit off though so she was curious if she was accurate. Lifting her head, she rubbed her forehead before standing. She cleared her cup away again and moved to the door with slow, graceful steps.

Fox walked in from Crow's room right foot hitting the ground firs. He looked around seeing that no one was in there other then him and he stretched for the rafters that lie just above him. His clawed hands softly ran along the stone door way that rested just at the top of the stares he entered in on. His claws making a soft scraping nose but it let somewhat large divests in to the hard stone. He was liking these dragon claws, that Crow had given him he was waiting for the fight with Yawgmoth to show him what els he got from her. This was going to be a fun night he hoped. His eyes glinted for a moment like a sun beam crossing over a freshly polished peace of steel. After standing in the doorway for a moment he headed over to the bar he was thirsty and was looking for some water. This was somethign easy to find for he always had the mine frig behind the counter stocked full of bottled water for him. After getting hie drink he slowly headed over to his faveret arm chair and flopping down he was looking in to the fire letting the shapeless dance of the flame wash over him as he was waiting for the nights explotes to begin.
