Rei startedcrying tears rolling down her cheak "please bakura please! Dont do this!" she sobbed pleading with him "I want to be with you!"

"So do I!" Bakura shouted. "But if you die, I can't! And if you're with me, your chances of dying increase. Which is why you can't be with me. Don't you get that?"

"But if you leave then at least I know you're safer... Stop making this so hard!" Bakura shouted, clawing at his hair. "I've got problems, Rei, and with you around you only add to those. Maybe when I've sorted everything else out, but right now... I just need you gone."

Rei slowly forsed herself to her feet "well im sorry for being just a problem.I'll just get rid of this problem for you." she said running out of the house and into the desert.

Bakura had been utterly miserable. He stayed in the house for days after Rei left, hardly caring after himself. He eventually realized that he was out of food and knew he would have to go, so he got on the horse and headed towards the nearest town, pulling the hood of his red coat up to shield his hair and face.

A while after getting in town he would hear two women talking. "I found this poor girl wandering in the desert a few days ago. She was nude and muttering about not wanting to be alone. Some man just must have abandoned the poor thing!"
"oh what a shame!How is she doing?"
"not well. She wont eat or drink anything. All she ever does is cry or sleep."
"the poor soul..."
"Yes and I being she's carring. I dont belive the poor thing will make it too much longer.
"poor thing. Mabye she's finaly find some peace in the afterlife."
"yea ra bless her poor soul."

Bakura tensed. Rei. It had to be her. One of his hands twitched, and before he could help it, he had pulled out a dagger. In a swift motion, he had the blade at the throat of the woman who said she found Rei. "Don't move, don't struggle, and I won't kill you." He said in a soft voice, pinning her arms behind her back with one of his hands. "This girl. Take me to her. Now."

The women gasped her eyes huge "Y-yes. This way..." she stuttered and showed in to her hut. In her hut there lay in a corner rei. She was dressed in a simple linnin dress.The was patch over her missing eye. She was skinny and the dress was loose on her. Rei lay asleep at the moment her face stained with tears.

Once in the hut, Bakura quickly slit the woman's throat, even though she had done everything without a fight. He went over to Rei, a cold look on his face. He grabbed her shoulders, shaking her. Blood stained his hands, but he didn't notice.

The women struggled for a moment before falling dead.
Rei's head shook as her shook her. Soon her eyes open. Her eyes were like looking into a black hole filled with sadness. She looked up to him not saying a word.

"You need to learn to listen." Bakura hissed coldly, picking Rei up and slinging her over his shoulder. He started to calmly walk out of the hut, stepping over the body without a thought.

Rei gasped. She had figured he was just going to leave her agian "Wha-what do you mean??"

Outside, Bakura let Rei down, turning to face her. "Idiot. I told you that you should leave when you were healed. You just got up and ran. Why did you run? You had nowhere to go. You didn't take care of yourself when you left. I don't want you dead!" He grew slightly angry, slamming his fist against the outside wall of the hut. "I DON'T WANT YOU DEAD, DAMMIT!"
