After Nemu had mastered the Shadow Neck Bind, Shikamaru had used that as an excuse to try to get out of teaching her anything more. She knew that there were still several Nara family techniques she hadn't learned, even if she didn't know them, she knew of them. She tried once again to get Shikamaru to teach her further, mentioning that the more time he spent not teaching her, the longer it would take to actually finish teaching her.
Shikamaru wasn't a fool, he knew that was just circular logic, but if it would mean he wouldn't have to put up with as much of her incessant talking and yawning, then fine. She was quieter when she was training anyways. So he finally surrendered, and said he would teach her the other techniques.
First up was a newer one, the Shuriken Shadow Imitation technique. It had foudn a way around one of the biggest weaknesses of the regular Kage Mane no Jutsu, the continual drain of the user's chakra. By infusing a projectile object with chakra, the object could be used as a focus and relay the jutsu for the user, so they didn't have to maintain a chakra flow or stretch their shadow.

Before they even began training for this technique, Shikamaru had Nemu practice her throwing. Luckily for her, she'd remembered to bring her weapons. He pointed to a targetting system that had been set up before, obviously another Nara had been practicing the same thing not that long ago. It was quite a clever design, usign a system of strings, wires and weights to make the actual target, a sand-filled parcel, move unpredictably, much like a person would. Admittedly it could only move in a small range of area, but the randomness of it's movements made it more than effective nonetheless.
Nemu moved to a spot twenty feet from it, but Shikamaru had her move further away, until she was well over thirty feet away. Nemu had a hard time seeing the target clearly, maybe that had been Shikamaru's idea? Even though she couldn't see it too well, she knew enough of what it looked like that she thought she could still probably hit it.

Nemu felt ready, she fingered the few shuriken she had pulled from the pouch at her side. Instead of trying to throw them all at once, she was going to do one at a time, to work more on her precise aim, rather than general proficiency. Holding one shuriken by a single tip, she made a few practice throwing motions, moving her arm abck and forth a little faster each time. After a dozen swings, she knew she could do it, and whipped the shuriken at the target.
She couldn't really see it well enough from that distance, so instead of wonderign if she had hit it or not, she just grabbed the next shuriken, switching to her other hand. She concentrated, then calmed herself, taking a few deep breaths before sharpening her eyes and letting it fly. She kept this up until she'd thrown a full third of her shuriken, then went to check how she'd fared.

Nemu didn't look at Shikamaru as she walked past to see how she'd done. She knew if she looked at him, assuming he'd been paying attention, his expression would very likely tell her how she'd done, and she wanted to see for herself. So instead she looked directly at the target as she approached, trying to see where her shuriken ahd ended up.
Once she reached the target, she got her answer. Not so good. A majority of the shuriken had actually hit, but only along the edges, a few even skimming the edges of the target. Sure, they'd scored hits, leaving shallow gashes int he target's sides, but they hadn't stuck. And that was the goal, the Shuriken Shadow Imitation technique needed the shuriken to stay in the target to be effective, regardless of if it was the actual person or their shadow.
She began the laborious project of retrieving her stray shuriken, picking them out of the tree trunk, against the ground, one had even fallen in a small stream. then it was back to the firing line, to try once more.

Nemu kept throwing for another half hour, finally getting into the swing of things. Her accuracy got a little better, by now she could get almost all of her shuriken to stick in the target, although they were scattered a bit across it's surface.
Shikamaru called her back to begin the next step in training, that of infusing a shuriken with her chakra. This wasn't too hard, she'd even done similar exercises to this with Sagi, so she didn't have any difficulty placing a portion of her chakra in her shuriken. But that was only the first step. This technique would primarily be in a near-combat situation, that meant she had to be able to do it fast and well, even if she was distracted. This meant more drills, seeing how fast she could infuse an object with chakra, how well could she do it while doing something else.
This was a bit more draining than she would have thought, constantly expelling chakra into shuriken and not even being able to get it back all the time. But all her training had increased her chakra, she only noticed that now. She was already handling larger amounts better than she had when Sagi taught her, maybe she really was getting stronger?

It took quite some time, but Nemu finally thought she had the speed required to use the technique. She could grab a shuriken, infuse it with her chakra, and throw it, hitting a target a good majority of the time. Her movements were a little jerky, but she was still new to the idea. Over time, and with practice, she'd get better, able to do it faster and more accurately, possibly even more than one at a time!
But for now, she was working on the basics. Grab, charge, throw. Grab, charge, throw. She soon ran out of shuriken and had to switch to kunai. The different shape and aerodynamics of the kunai made her falter for a moment, but she caught on to the differences and was then just as proficient with either type of projectile. She was coming along pretty well, at least she thought so anyways. Shikamaru, on the other hand, hadn't even said if she was doing good or bad. Then again, he probably wouldn't say if she was doing good, so if he didn't say anything, maybe it meant she actually was doing good?

It was getting late in the day, the sun had just started to darken and bathe the world in oranges and reds, and finally her training seemed to be drawing to a close for the day. Shikamaru finally felt she was ready to learnt he last step of the technique, that of releasing the Shadow Imitation technique froma distance. It required a good eye and timing, something she'd had to learn well not very long ago. She jumped in, ready to try it and see if she could actually manage it.
With this sort of technique, trainign almost demanded a moving target. But there was no real target aside from Shikamaru. complaining the entire time, he finally gave up and agreed to be the target, after warning her not to mess up and hit him. Nemu nodded, confident in her accuracy at this point. Reluctantly, Shikamaru strolled across her path, giving her opportunities to grab a shuriken or kunai, charge it, and throw it at his shadow. Fromt here she had to activate the jutsu before his shadow left the shuriken's impact point, otherwise it'd be wasted. The first few times were a little off, she was just a little too late. But finally, she got it! Shikamaru stopped in his tracks, his shadow pinned to her shuriken. She didn't even have to expend chakra any further, it was almost automatic! And their poses weren't linked, either, that freed her up for a lot of new options!

" hinata's face truend red, and she twiddled her thumbs.." well.. umm.. you se.. i just anted to train with you" naruto then said" oh. okay hen we can all train togetehr.. godidea hinata!" hinata smiled, and lee said" yeah.. and i was just wondering if you woulkd show me a new jutsu" nauto qiickly nodded, and said" yeah sure.. lets go..
