"All I wanted was his company." she said quietly between soft sobs. Still watching him, her expression changed from sad to confused, shock. Wiping her face dry, she turned to Rayne but still did not leave Reeve's side, separated by the barrier. "Of course it is not normal to bleed from the eyes and ears .. I had never seen him bleed from the ears. When he bled from the eyes, he said the wounds that blinded him would reopen from time to time. I had no way of knowing he was suffering so, he did not tell me and I had no reason to invade his privacy. Kain said nothing of this either .." she said quietly, tears still filling her eyes.

She laughed a little bit after she took a drink of Vodka. "Your kidding, right? He never told you?" She shook her head, then downed some more booze. She finished then spoke. "Reeve's illusionary ability causes stress on his brain. For awhile this ment nothing... but then Reeve started to change. He held in all of his abilities, simply because he didn't want to hurt people any longer. Many people would call this 'noble.'" She scowled and shook her head. "I'd call it retarded. Not wanting revenge against the people who harmed him so much... Anyway. Holding in the abilities made his brain swell too, since he no longer had a release. He made barriers around his mind to keep his powers in and people out. My daddy gave him a month to live... it's been about three years." She looked at Ziven, glaring a bit. "You must have been stupid, why did you think he smiled so much? Why do you think he no longer felt pain? His mind did everything it could to keep him alive... and if you cared you would have pried a little bit more." She snapped her fingers, making the dome disappear. "He stays with me. If he gets better, I'll finish what I started." She disappeared right after speaking.

"Yes but .." she started to reply however Rayne disappeared. Standing, she turned and saw Reeve and the barrier that held him were gone also. With a small gasp she felt as if her heart had truly been crushed. Crying out with her voice and her mind. "No! Reeve!!" she stood there silently for a moment before disappearing herself.
