Some big game announcements been going on. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is going to be filled with cameos/cross over goodness: including bosses in the form of Monster Hunter monsters, and usable mechs from Front Mission. Honestly, I thought Square Enix had long since abandoned the FM series.
On top of that, Marvel vs Capcom 3 is looking to be officially announced at E3. Personally, I'm hoping to see the inclusion of X-23, Deadpool, Dante, and Frank West.

Great, way to ruin another series with cameos that do not belong. MGS needs to rest, but I guess once again, companies want to milk as much money from a popular game series as they can, regardless of whether or not they ruin it. So it looks like Snake will be joining the ranks of FF7 and the MK universe.
Oh, and waiting on an Okako post

Wow, with that post, I took a completely different turn with Stephanie than originally planned. It should at least prove to be interesting, especially when I reveal what drives her to fight and become stronger.

Tee the Wicked Do I even have to say? Or did you forget MK vs. DC Universe? xp After actually playing it for awhile, it's not that bad. It's a bit on the bland side, and the fact that it's cannon to the story kind of irks me, but all in all, its really no different then the Street Fighter vs X-Men/Marvel vs Capcom series; corny, broken, and meant to be played with friends for kicks. However, I will be glad when MK9 wipes the slate clean, as promised.

On a side note, damn Heavy Rain and it's QTE game play; it's helped my reflexes a bit, but damn it, my attentiveness has dulled. Got so used to just waiting for a command to pop up that now my C&C games is all thrown out of whack. Stupid King Oni. Ugh, glad to see some people like that crap. The gameplay better have been gold, because that's the only thing that can save such a crap crossover. I heard from a few people I know who played the game that the game was horrible, and was not recommended to buy it. I personally don't care for crossovers myself, even KH, as good as it was, initially turned me off due to it being a crossover. But that at least had a damn good story as well as damn good gameplay. And for me, gameplay is the most important factor on whether or not I like a game in the end. SC4 was that way, I liked the gameplay and custom creation enough that I was able to stomach not playing vs. mode due to being forced to fight the insanely overpowered and incredibly cheap Apprentice in one of the matches. But back on topic, MGS kinda doesn't belong with Monster Hunter. Period. Assassin's creed and FM, I think I can almost see. At least it isn't bad as Dynasty Warriors Gundam crossover.
All the debating aside, Vain, have you ever managed to play any of Tri-Ace's games?

Actually, if you can stomach the extremely shitty story, Star Ocean 4 actually has great gameplay(just like it's predecessors), and the item creation system is nothing like the horror from SO3.
