xuvrette awww...*hugs Kimini* sad cry Is the size of the belly shows whether you have twins or not? sad eek razz question by the way....why can't a pregnant mother see that movie? lol. Padme/Natalie Portman had this tiny little figure that looked about six months pregnant. You're not necessarily HUGE when you have twins, but at nine months you are definitely large, and she wasn't. When she had the babies, I was sitting there waiting for SOMEONE to say SOMETHING about her being premature or early because she just didn't have a real belly yet! She was tiny! .... Keep in mind, this is coming from someone (me) whose belly looks like a beach ball shoved under her shirt, not a teeny little half-basketball like she had. As for why I, anyway, should probably not have seen it... **MAJOR SPOILER WHITED OUT** Anakin Skywalker, when he goes evil, heads over to the Jedi Temple and starts slaughtering all of the Jedi that are there. My heart ached for all the poor Jedi Knights out in the world whose soldiers turned against them at the Chancellor's orders, but what just killed me -- and started me bawling right then and every half-hour afterward when I thought about it -- was when he went into the Jedi Council chamber. You saw all these little shadows hiding behind the chairs, and when he walked in about 15 children under age 10 came running out, looking scared, but relieved that a Jedi was there to save them. One said, trustingly, "What do we do, Master Anakin? There are too many of them..." (he had brought droid-soldiers to help him) and they were all so innocent-faced and wide-eyed... and he pulled out his lightsaber. It didn't show him killing them all, but you knew he did. My gosh, I'm crying again. It SUCKED. IT SUCKED. Especially when wise-eyed Yoda suddenly dropped his staff and staggered, looking broken-hearted and you KNEW he was feeling the pain of all those Knights and children being murdered unprepared.
As a mother-to-be, anything involving children and/or the mistreatment, abuse, or other sort of injustice toward them just tears at my heart. Poor Hubby didn't know what to do but change the subject everytime my eyes got misty. *lol* /spoiler

*has CSI taped on her DVD recorder so she can watch it later with Hubby tomorrow but then gets totally spoilered on various details as she casually takes a browse through the guild* gonk
Kimi: Don't ever read "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck again either. T__T I couldn't read it again after I had Jonathan, even though it was one of my top five favorite books pre-pregnancy. Oh, and strike "Ransom" off your movie list as well.
