Before she announced her presense Tac seemed to be mumbling, mostly incoherently, the only coherent bits, being few and far between, seemed to be centered around some sort of firearm statistic that he was reciting, though only in piecemeal in the jumble of other thoughts.
He stopped rather abruptly when he heard Cora speak, not yet looking down. The only way he could explain it was some form of waking dream or something similar. He lowered his gaze to her for a single moment, time enough to say one thing, "You don't exist. I'm alone now."

...
:::her neck jerked back just slightly. She knew that people had odd reactions to this place upon their first arrival, but that really wasn't one of the things she was expecting to hear:::
...I- I'm sorry, Sir. I think you're confused.
:::She approached him slowly:::
Have you been here before?

Tac shook his head, looking down to her again, "Not confused. Never confused! Its simple, you don't exist because I'm alone, and vice versa. You are nothing but a figment of my imagination. Telling of how cruel it really is, you'd think a figment of my imagination would at least know who I am." Back his head went again, gazing back to the blackness above once more.

:::Oh, he thinks he's imagining it all...:::
It's alright sir, I know this is a little diffucult to understand. You're in a place called the Brink of Time, but I promise you're safe with me.
:::She approached him and offered her hand, really wondering if he'd take it. She'd understand if he didn't:::
My name is Cora... what's your name?

>>Sato fades into the bar. She looks around and mutters something that quite likely would best remain incoherent and heads to the bar, ignoring the others<<

Tac seemed to freeze for a moment, thoughts began to race through his mind, Is it a dream or perhaps that which is conjured forth from my imagination, or has this reunion finally come to pass? He blinked once as his gaze shifted down to look upon her, an eerie sense of tranquility falling over him for a moment before he bit down on his tongue, hard.
He spit silent curses, Not a dream...the pain is real, and blood flows without the healing. But....why does she not recognize me? And her appearance...she doesn't look nearly as old as she did...but...she's dead. Tac hesitated for a moment, and seeing as she didn't recognize him, perhaps it was warranted to deceive her in part. Whatever the case, he was both praising and damning the Brink in his mind. His hand met hers in a rather poor handshake, "Daize. My name is Jordan Daize."

:::Cora shook his hand:::
Nice to meet you Mr. Daize, nice to meet you-
:::She was about to say something else, but was cut off by the snark of another stranger at the bar...they seemed to be ok with the Brink:::
Uhm...hello there, sir...We haven't met either.

Tac ignored Sato, trying to produce a believable first experience line of questioning, "Miss Cora, what was it you wre saying about the brink of something? I must admit I am thoroughly confused. Only moments ago I was in my room going over elements for my next evaluation, and suddenly you show up. My evaluation is in like a half hour, so, um, will this take long?"

Right...uhm.
:::She looked back at Sato who was already drinking heavily, and decided that whoever this stranger was they were ok for the moment. She walked back to Jordan:::
The Brink of Time, that's what we call this place... and don't worry about your evalutaion. The time in your world doesn't pass while you're here...
:::This must have sounded very strange to someone who didn't know where they were:::
I mean...this place is very strange and special. It's a place where... well, this place seems to be without time....
:::Cora continuted to give the Brink speach in full:::

'Jordan' seemed puzzled, more and moreso as he listened intently, "I've heard of bending the laws of gravity and defying them if need be, but one would think the boundaries of time are set in stone." Tac knew full well about all of this, but he had to put on a good show, "Where does it end? And how is there this illumination without any specific source? And most of all...why a bar of all things? I might have expected a museum of relics lost to time or something, if this place does indeed exist without time itself. A bar just seems so....out of place."

:::Cora couldn't begin to answer any of the serious questions but as for the bar:::
Oh! it's not just a bar...you can find any kind of beverage you wish there, it is always supplied. And, down that hallway is a great library, down that hall is a room for each person who appears here, and that right there is where you get your key. If you ever wish to return to your world before the brink send you back, you use your key on that door...
:::She smiled politely:::
I know this is a bit much...but it will feel like second nature eventually.

Tac chuckled, "My world? Heh, you make it sound like theres more than one. Have you been partaking of the seemingly unlimited beverages here? Cause I know when I used to get drunk I'd start claiming I was a ruler of all the little plastic people that lived inside my beer bottle, but creating whole new worlds is a new one."
