Yeah, Hartley was being a tease. It was easier to focus on a little pretend tension than to revisit last night in any way.
He smiled at Cassie and Karen.
"Hello, ladies. I hope you don't mind me inviting Karen along, Cassie. She's pretty down in the dumps."

Chris felt much safer with his feet planted firmly on the ground. "That was--interesting" he said sounding more relieved to be on the ground then he intended.

What did he mean by that? What could he mean by that? Oh you know what he meant by that.
Wallace paused, then went to his dorm room door, pushing it open to peer in at his saddo roomie. "Teddy Bear? You coming? And if so, I'd appreciate it if you carried me. I need to be in the arms of some man today."

Cassie shrugs..
"No not at all the more the merrier."
Cassie sees Hartley and Wallace heading towards the room and waves to them.
"I just gotta see if Teddy's ready and find Achilles and we can get going."
Cassie walks down a couple doors and knocks on Teddy's door.

"Yeah.." Teddy took a final spin in his chair before getting up. He slung his bag over his shoulder, scooped up his roommate bridal style and headed over to the rest of the group. "Hey Cassie. Billy swears we didn't invite him...so he's not coming." Frown saddo face.
