Scar didn't say anything. On the inside, Scar was laughing triumphantly while Travis cried silently.

Karmen's eyes began to water, but she wiped them quickly. "Anyways, to answer your question from earlier, I came here to ask the crew if they know if Natsumi came to the Black Moon in the last two years," she said, "She sometimes talked about coming here to look for you."

Scar shook his head, "I wasn't here last year, but I didn't see her here two yeas ago."
"I still have to make a quick check around here, Ill be out in a minute." Isaac said.

Harpy narrowed her eyes slightly as lots of thoughts plus her super-sharp-vampire-hearing heard many different conversations at once. A lot of info was passing her way, and she wondered what she would do with it... She consented to keep listening casually. 'What? Natsumi is missing?' Harpy's eyes narrowed in surprise as the conversation carried on.....
Fate wandered around the Dining Room. 'Huh, looks like not all is about..... Guess I should check up on things below deck, hmm?' she thought, then exited the room and made her way down and over to the lower part of the cruise ship. After all, her job was Navigation back-up and a Secretary. The least she should do was follow her job.

"Really? That's a relief," Karmen said, "But that still doesn't rule out last year." Then she added, "Do you think you can ask the other crew members if they saw Natsumi here last year?"

"Good," Karmen said, "Well, I should probably take a look around before the hunt starts." She turned around and was about to leave when she had a thought. She turned back to Scar and asked, "So what are you doing here? Are you going to be helping the humans again?"

"Sure, I'll look for you there, See ya!" Karmen said. She felt much better than before. The chances of Natsumi coming to the Black Moon and getting killed had decreased. Then she turned around, opened the door, and walked off to explore the ship.
Haruko looked out at the ocean.
Kim was cleaning the Dinner Room.
