Oh yeah, I definitely want cars that drive themselves.
HUDs would also be pretty great. Via glasses or contacts or etc.

Cars that drive themselves? I would love to fall asleep at the wheel because I didn't need to actually do anything.

I would...
Fall asleep, Play games, Use a laptop, Listen to Music, or something like that. I imagine once there are cars that drive themselves, having a TV or Computer in the car as well as game consoles can be more safely done. So you can just keep entertained while being transported.

That could cause problems if you have a voice-activated GPS though.

Haha that is why I'd expect you to need to perhaps push a button for it to 'listen' to your new instructions, or some other method of indicating that you are directing your speech at it instead of just chatting with another passenger. Remaining touch screen interface instead of vocal would work.
I'd also imagine that the roads would be fitted with sensors in the future so that the car could detect where lanes are and/or also maybe have an adaptation of Google's self-driving car's camera vision which it uses to stay on the road. Then it would see where it can or cannot drive. That, and sensors could direct the car to go on a detour.
Hehe, I think if self-driving cars were approved for consumer use at that point they'd have taken into account some of those potential disruptions.
