Shadow slowly opened his eyes and slowly began to rush the rubble piled all over him. "Well.....that hurt", he said rubbing his scalp grazed with blood gushing across his forehead. His crimson glowing eyes glared all around the tomb. Everything was caved in and floating with dust from the crashing spire. The air was beginning to thin with the lack of carbon dioxide burned out from the guardian's flames. It would only be a matter of time before Shadow ends up suffocating. "Well.....s**t!!!", he roars pounding into the rubble. Even if he could bust his way out, the walls are too thick and dense to break out in time before the oxygen runs out. But then, he noticed the locket was still glowing. "Why.....that guardian thing is gone now.", he thought looking into the stone's light. "What am I suppose to do? Why did you bring me here?", he asked. Just then, he felt himself looking toward the alter where the guardian stood. For some reason, he felt as though he knows about it. And thats when he realized something happened when the lockets light surrounding Shadow crossed with the Guardian's light. Was it a memory? What ever it was, Shadow could only follow his instincts as he brushed away the rubble and debris away to dig it up. At the very center of the alter was some sort of slab shaped like Shadow's Locket with the stone. Almost like it was some sort of keyhole. Shadow slowly places the locket into the hole and the ground began to open up beneath. Out came what appeared to be some sort of book. An ancient old book thicker than a dictionary and marked with arcane imprints. At the center was some sort of large rune stone with a lock sealed around the book with a the same slab. The book looked heavier than it appear the moment Shadow picked it up and unsealed the book with his Locket. He slowly starts to skim through the pages. The letters and diagrams were all made with a strange glowing ink and all written in elvish. Thanks to his sister's teaching, he could make out as if this book was some sort of biography. But it was more than that as Shadow looked in further. Scriptures, notes, formulas, everything. "This is.....", Shadow eye's widen with surprise to see that all the knowledge the elves left behind was in this very book he holds in his claws. "So this is what they were trying to tell me....", he said as he quickly closes the book and reseals the lock. Just then, the rune stone on the book lights up emitted the formation of an elven woman no bigger than the palm of his hand appeared floating over the crystal's light. "Thank you....", he said with a graceful smile speaking in elvish. Before her memory imprinted spell wore off and vanished into thin air, her voice echoed a sort of elven chant. Out of the blue, a portal open beneath Shadow's feet and pulled him in. "Oh no....NOT AGAIN DX", he cried as he and the book vanished with the portal closing.


Suddenly, Shadow felt the portal close behind him and felt himself falling down at least fifty feet from the air all the way into a body of water. He struggles his way out of the pool coughing and breathing heavily from his little shocker. "Ugh....Son of a.....ack", he coughed again pulling himself out of what appeared to be the school fountain. He land on his knees getting out to catch his breathe and slowly stands up. "I'm back...", he said looking down at the book in his hands.

"Ack.... stressed Did I hit my head again?!", he growled in anger rubbing his head. But reguardless of how many beatings it took, at least he finally made it out of that tomb and from suffocating to death. Better yet, somehow the elven spirits knew where he had to go. "How did they know where I'm living?", he thought to himself for a moment until he heard a call from a familiar voice. "You're Musubi, right?", he asked slowly approaching her still holding his head with one hand. He then looks down at a familiar white figure clinging to her waist. As usual, still timid and giving him that little frightened rabbit look on his face everytime he sees him. "Hello...Orochi..", he said quietly looking away for a moment to keep his fierce glare from frightening him. "Oh right. How long has it been since the trip to the beach?", Shadow asked Musubi bluntly. After being trapped in that forest for so long, he had no idea how much time has passed so its only natural to know what day it is.

Shadow has always been observant when seeing new people with his sharp eyes and ears. He remembered seeing her back on the beach although he never had the nerve to talk to her as much as a few others such as Chris or Kairi. The news Musubi gave him made Shadow's hair raise for a moment and his ears folded down. "A couple of weeks...no wonder I feel so tired....", he said tumbling back holding his head. The forest he was trapped in felt like only a few days in there after being separated from the others. He had to feed on very little what he could find let alone a few fruits, snakes and fish. But his limited nourishment and lack of sleep has finally caught up to him as his body began to feel dizzy. And the blood loss he suffered from his head injury only made it worse. "A couple of weeks....damn....it", he voiced faded as did his eyes when the young wolf pup just falls face down in the dirt.
