Loki smiled a little. "I tend to get along with along with just about everyone." He resisted the urge to hug Tatsumi close as he sat beside him. "So what would you like to do now?"
Faelan's ears perked up when hearing a voice, his tail moving between his legs. He sniffed at the air then began to follow the scent. This one didn't smell like a human, but he wanted to make sure.

Xinian peered around a tree and lifted a flower to his lips, the petals brushing over his chin and cheeks lazily with his deft finger movements. His tail curled around his leg and his ears twitched back and forth, hearing the softest of footsteps on the ground. A small coy smile passed his feline lips and he crouched low to the ground, playing with his flower.
"Come and play with me...~" The cat teased to the slightly chill air, waiting for who was out there.

Play? Who was this person or creature? Faelan moved closer, aqua eyes spotted the catboy. He stopped where he was, never having seen such a creature before. It sort of looked human but more like a feline. His head tilted curiously, not sure if he should be afraid or not.

Xinian sniffed again when he heard the footsteps coming a bit closer. There was something familiar in the smell and he closed his eyes, trying to place where he'd smelled something like that before. It was purely woodsy, something that he'd become accustom to. Slightly harsh undertones which meant it was a preditor... The cat lazily opened his eyes and took another quick scan of the area, his eyes catching on fur that was not quite hidden in the undergrowth. Xinian stood up and stretched his arms over his head, his fur slowly fluffing out as he did so and he cursed, smoothing some of it back in place.
"I know you're out there... if you're hunting me, be forewarned I won't let you eat me. I'm far too pretty to become dinner."

Faelan crouched down behind some dence bushes, hoping the feline creature didn't see his not-so-blending-in gray fur. He continued to listen to it speak, snorting when hearing it say it was too pretty. If only he could laugh in his wolf form. But he didn't think the creature would be a good dinner. He prefered rabbits or even fish. He had never tasted a feline. Rather than run, Faelan sat there to listen to it, a little amused with its words.

Not seeing the patches of fur moving from the bushes, Xinian leaned back for a moment then artfully tucked some of the flowers behind one of his ears. The stems on them were certainly long enough... and he did have quite a few...
With a grin he dropped to the ground abruptly and tried to make a chain with them, talking all the while, wondering if he could draw out the shy creature.
"I understand why you won't come out... you're terrified of my prowess as a hunter aren't you? Well don't worry, I've already had my fill today so I'll resist the urge to take a bite out of you... unless you ask nicely."

Again, Faelan shorted. He wasn't shy, just wary. And why was the feline playing with flowers? Isn't that what girls did? The feline didn't look female so... When it mentioned being the hunter, Faelan shifted his back legs, wanting to prove to it that he was the better hunter. A real hunter wouldn't sit there playing with flowers. And he would never ask anyone permission to bite...

Out of the corner of his eye Xin could tell that there was some movement. He slowly continued to link the stems together, braiding as he shifted in his spot to get a fraction more comfortable. He started to lean back a bit and put one arm down, stretching the other up over his head so his muscles started to bunch and move under his fur. A soft purr began in his throat and he let it continue as he spoke.
"But really you can't help it can you. Out here in the wilderness, I'm sure that you've honed your skills to protect yourself and your kin to the uttmost... But at least you're not a wolf. God those mangy creatures are just no good, always slobering over their food, shedding on my good clothes when they chance to come into my little home. And their fur? Uh! Absolutely disgusting..."
Which was a flat out lie. Xinian had been living at the caravan long enough to come to love the wolves there like his own family but if this predator out there watching him was a wolf like he suspected then it was all the better to goad him out into the open.

Faelan stopped him movement when hearing the feline mention kin. His heart gave a little twist as he roughly pushed the horrid memories away. Then his ears pricked. The feline was putting down wolves. The muscles on his muzzle twitched, a harsh growl rising in his throat. He was no mangy beast and his coat was considered beautiful.
Unable to help it, Faelan let the growl loose, his muscled legs springging him over the bush to infront of the feline. He was much larger than an average sized wolf, his body prepared to pounce, his fangs bared. He wouldn't hesitate to shread the kitty.

Xinian smiled at the growl and hurled his flowers at the leaping beastie. He knew that a few of them... alright, probably all of them would get shredded in the process but there were others around for him to pick and he really only wanted the seeds to put in his garden. His fur was starting to stand on end from the adrenaline pumping through his veins and he darted behind a tree with a loud laugh, his yellow eyes watching the feral wolf.
"Oh look a puppy! Aren't you adorable..."

Faelan snapped at the flowers, ripping them in the process. Normally he wouldn't destroy flowers but the feline was making him angry and he didn't appreciate them being thrown at him. The fur across the back of his neck and shoulders stood up as he growled again, his massive paws moving him closer to the tree. Puppy? He was certainly no pup...and he would prove it.

Behind the mask of the tree Xinian slipped his boots off and started to move backwards a bit, his tail twitching from side to side. His eyes glittered mischeviously, like any good cat that was hiding a secret that he was dying to tell and not tell at the same time. He spun around and wiggled his butt at Faelan before dashing off through the woods.
"You can't catch me mutt!"

Blinking, not sure if he saw correcting, Faelan stared at the feline as he shook his rear. But when her ran off and called him a mutt, Faelan barked and bounded after him quickly. His stride was long due to his massive body, his paws knowing the forest floor since he had been exploring it for a while now. The feline wouldn't get away. Faelan was determined to catch him.

Xinian grinned as the wind pushed past him, ruffling his fur as he dashed through the woods. He looked over his shoulder a few times to make sure that Faelan was still chasing him and scrambled up a tree, aided much by the fact that his boots were on the ground and wouldn't get in his way as he found a nice perch.
"Ha, silly little puppy, you can't get up here now can you. And you ruined my flowers! I oughta rub your nose in dirt for that you know." Xinian pouted.

Faelan continued to follow, his body hitting again low plants as her moved by then. As soon as he saw the feline go up a tree, Faelan rushed forward and jumped, his claws scrapping against the bark as he barked again, his fangs reaching for any part of the feline he could reach. His bulk, though, wouldn't allow him to stay in the tree for too long. But there was no way was the cat rubbing his nose in the dirt.
