((Bonus XP? I'll never get it, I've never been one to make a lengthy post.))

Kazuma got up and looked at the size of the tree, it was nothing. and easy climb. Or at least it would be if it wasn't for the fact that he was relatively inexperienced at anything related to a ninja. But as he focused he felt a pulsating at his feet, something he had not truely felt, as he approached the tree and gave it another go at walking up it. He walked up it keeping his hands out to keep his balance putting one in front of the other trying to keep his focus on his feet. It seemed his bit of bad luck had stopped for the moment.

((Well for training you get skills and all that but at your guys' level I think its 1 bonus XP per 50 words. But thats in training, you obviously get regular xp when you do missions and all that on top of that. Its mostly the only thing I'm good at is English and when I'm into RP I get really detailed. Im less concerned with Nadiya's length, but with my Gennin, he's made only around 700 posts, but I've typed a little more than about 150,000 words. That is only with him, but its fun. For the next time skip, Ive already started working on my story. I'd like to have the longest but Giglamesh is a freak when it comes to long writing. Regardless, I have about 10,000 words so far. Wow, reading over it t sounds really braggy. Im not trying to be, Im just really excited about it.))

((Not even worth it then... and when is the next skip anyways?))

Kazuma was doing to well until he tried to be cocky and spread some of his charka to his hand to stand walking up it that way and slipped before his hand even touched the tree. He feel right on his feet which was kinda odd but due to the drop he bent his knees and back and kinda smacked his head against the tree and grabbed his head walking around grumbling and mumbling about the tree being stupid and rubbing it vigorously until his eyes caught Gwendolyn and he blushed again and stopped. As he looked at the tree angry that he had done something so stupid in front of her.

((>.> Ya know... here's the next 5 rolls... >.>

This one is the 8 roll post.))

Kazuma ran up to the tree quickly focusing his chakra to his feet as he approached it hoping to get it. As he ascended the tree he was determined to succeed and prove to Gwendolyn he wasn't that bad of a ninja even if she didn't think or notice, he was on the bright side hoping that his effort was inspiring her. But just as everytime he tried to go up it in a huff he slipped and fell on his back. He quickly got up and turned to his sensei once again for another pointer.

((Sometime after we finish the chuunin exams which could take any amount of time. And since that 8 was your fifth failure, I'll write the next little hint which should make the three rolls after that successes!))

The boy was trying and making very little progress. It seemed that he would do better after what she told him. She thought about what she said and wondered what he needed to be expanded on . . .Of course! She again approached him with a tidbit that would hopefully clarify,

"Alright I'm sure you understand moving chakra to a certain part of your body, that isn't the hardest part. The trickiest is to control it. If you don't put enough chakra there, you'll slide down or simply fall as it isn't enough to keep you up. If you put too much there you exude unnecasary amounts of chakra from your foot, propelling you off, crushing the bark beneath your foot from this sudden burst. So work on controlling and maintaining a balance of your chakra."

((Ah... hopefully that's sometime in the next three weeks or so, but I'mma have an unusually long...er skip. xD Just a few rp months or since I'm going to be going for my army training hopefully in about a month.))

Kazuma nodded to his sensei as he turned back to the tree focusing on his feet and then approaching the tree with a coll demeanor and rid himself of all his thoughts of impressing Gwendolyn. He focused on regulating how much chakra he sent to his feet and then steadily ascended the tree one step at a time. He smiled at his progress and then looked at his sensei and Gwendolyn and waved and then snapped back to focusing as a bead of sweat ran down the side of his face.

Kazuma continued walking up the tree, at a very slow and steady pace. He bit his bottom lip gently hoping he didn't make another mistake and watched him bypass the marker of the last mistake and record he set for himself. A sense of pride in his progress almost overwhelmed him and he caught himself in time before over exerting his chakra in his feet. He only made a slight smile as he only saw the top of the tree coming closer to him. He had not even learned a single Jutsu so Chakra Control was something new to him, the utilization of it was his only impressive remark he could think of.

Kazuma now thought he had the hang of it and let himself get proud that he had excellled so quickly and got so far up the tree, the top of it was his big 'haha' to his sensei for sending him to do this exercise without proper instruction. He would even walk down it too just to shove it in her face. He now blamed the knot on his head on her. He figured that if she gave him the pointers ahead of time he would already have mastered the art, but he kept these thought in the back of his mind as he focus on the task at hand.

((Next five rolls again... idk if I'll need all five or not but just in case.

Damn, nothing but fail... I'll post the rest of this fail fest tomorrow. >.<))

Though Kazuma had done soem amazing progress he had not expected his silent thought to come back from out of his mind breaking his concentration and he slipped and started plummet down to the ground and he shielded his face and curled to help reduce any injury sustaining impact and hit the ground with a thud. This was a mockery of himself as he looked at the top and it being so far away making him feel like he wanted to cry.

(You son of a *** haha. Look at my clan. You say 10 successes, I need 20 in order to get anything XD Damn, I made my disadvantages hard.)

Hachiro was a little confused at first when Gwen kinda dazed off. Maybe she didn't exactly have any interest in either him or Kazuma. He shrugged and stretched as he listened to his new sensei, Nadiya. As soon as he heard the word chakra, his face went a little white. He was horrible with chakra. Everyone had told him that any training he did didn't matter, cause he needed so much of it to make any difference. He was shocked when Kazuma was the first to just jump into doing the training. Kazuma seemed nervous while talking to the sensei, but it seemed like he enjoyed training. Hachiro frowned slightly at Nadiya and turned on his heel to start his tree climbing exercise.

Hachiro had enough speed in order to run his way up the tree a few steps, but there was absolutely no chakra anywhere in his feet. He was horrible with any exercise that included the manipulation, use, or even focusing of chakra. Tree climbing was actually the worse time of his life not too long ago. As soon as Hachiro hit his fourth step, he fell backwards and had to hit the ground and do a back roll in order to keep form getting hurt. He muttered something under his breath and looked back up at the tree.
"This will be difficult..."

((Well the properties of your clan aren't on your profile so I didn't know. I searched the thing up and down to see what would raise the DC for you but found nothing. What are they out of curiousity if they make the DC go from 18 to 20+for you? Oh and you only need 5 fails for the DC to lower, not 10

EDIT: Ha I found it! And I see what you're saying. I thought you meant you need to roll a 20 to get anything and was confused by that. Well you still only need five fails for the DC to lower, because after 5 failures Nadiya explains the process to you a bit more clearly and that is a factor not influenced by your clan. Man those are some rough disadvantages! Well we'll just have to get you to level 13 fast then, won't we?))

((>.< Is there a way to give me a bonus mod? Cause then it would be easier to get a pass because of the -1 Int mod I have, I need a +1 mod to counter balance it... >.<))

Kazuma saw his team mate Hachiro start to climb the tree, he knew something special was about this guy but he wasn't sure and watched him start climbing th tree fearing him to be a genious, but as soon as he slipped a couple times Kazuma suddenly felt less threatened by him. He was no better then himself. This gave Kazuma a sense of equality in skill, even if the comparision for age was still in his favor. Kazuma again tried to ascend the tree making a few good steps of his own before he finally slipped yet again and feel on his back. his last experience after climbing so high made this one feel not quite as bad as it did.

Kazuma picked himself back up as he looked at the tree and streached yet again. He was determined to prove himself worthy of becoming a ninja. It was his dream, his only real goal in life. But he also wanted to impress Gwendolyn enough for her to notice him. He felt as though he had to try harder and train faster then either of them to excel. He wanted to hear Gwendolyn say that he was awesome, and he didn't even know why. HE reapproached the tree walking up it trying his hardest not to slip on the tree again, but three steps and he lifts one foot to move he slips yet again and falls to the ground. He had figured only a few more tries and his sensei would provide more pointers for this seemingly impossible Genin leveled task.

Kazuma again picked himself up and looked at Gwendolyn, she had yet to try climbing the tree. He wondered if it had anything to do with him. Or if it was the fact she was scared. He was determined though to learn this technique so he could show her how easy it can be. He looked at the tree again and approached it starting to attempt reascending it. But as he got about a far as last time he had slipped yet again. He thought his good luck had finally run out. He had failed now four times in a row where when he didn't have instruction he at least got it every now and then.
