Instinctively, Dream knew this wasn't the best of things to happen. He yelled to her. "Violet! Where are you going? You wanted to help Leila, remember?" He hoped the mention of her demon friend would snap her out of it. But in case it didn't, he had a safeguard of sorts. Raising his hand, he blasted her with a beam of light. Not enough to hurt, but enough to get her attention. "Snap out of it!"

Holly followed, wanting to help, but somewhat worried about setting Violet off.
Cautiously, she reached out a hand, taking all of the light out of it, so it was just there. "Violet?"

Leila collapsed in mid-leap, gripping on to her head, her eyes shut tight and teeth clenched. She moaned in pain as she rolled onto her side, lying amongst the shreds of dark tendrils, still twitching like severed lizard tails. Tension ran through her body as her claws returned to normal, her concentration now gone and the stuffed cat laying somewhere beside her.

Liam watched as Leila collapsed, his eyes wide with fear. The darkness gripped onto her, attatching itself to her limbs and taking her in. He stood up, clearly the energy drawn out of him, and the liquid dripping slightly from his mouth. His voice was determined as he spoke, "Permissum obscurum take super meus animus quod licentia illa populus unus!" he spoke out in Latin, the liquid clearing the ground and seeping back into him. He had let himself, once again, be taken by the darkness so it wouldn't take anyone else. The darkness craved for him, his misery making him a perfect subject to their bidding, his strength the same. As the last bit had gone down his throat, he coughed horribly and started to stumble away from Leila and the rest.

Leila opened her eyes enough to see Liam stalking away, the dark fingers now gone. Where she did not know, but if he was leaving then it must not have gone as planned.
"Liam.." she said weakly, still hugging her head in pain. She tried to stand up, to stop him from leaving, since he still clearly needed help. "Don't..."

Violet visibly winced as the light struch her, quickly trying to move out of the beam.
"I Need To Go!" she yelled, thoughts of Leila and everyone else gone from her head. She turned to walk again until she saw Holly holding out her hand. Standing perfectly still she looked her straight in the eye.
"I don't need to hurt you, Even if i did attack you, Dream would probably be able to stop me before i do anything too serious, but do you really want to put that to the test?" she threatened, her voice soft. What was going on around her was slowly loosing importance, the only thing that mattered was to find where this cooling darkness was coming from.

"Violet, please, snap out of it!" Miu called, running after her, "Holly, you and Dream go help Leila. I'll try to snap her out of it"

The symbol on the wall began to pulsate light, It was radiating it's location...calling to any who would answer the dark call.
Steffen spoke soothingly to the mark, his voice seeped with an almost poisonous charm.
"Answer the call....It is instintive... you want to answer the call..yes you do...." he crooned almost lovingly. Perfect pinkish hands went to a stiff black collar, adjusting the emblelished hem and tightening the top golden button. It was only proper to look one's best when meeting kin, wasn't it?
In urge to leave and hunt was slowly coming over Steffen, but he pushed it to the back of his mind for the moment. There would be enough time for such activities latter. Sharp teeth nibbled on a thin bottom lip as it's mster waited. Steffen had all the time in the world after all.

Haucon watched Leila fall. His jaw dropped and the fire disappeared from his hands. "Leila?!" he shouted, kneeling beside her. "Leila!" he scooped her up, cradling her gently. "Are you alright?!" he asked frantic, looking her over carefully.

"Something...is here..." Leila managed through gritted teeth. "My head..." She rested her head against him, her eyes still shut tight. "It's calling me...but Liam...stop him..." She buried her head against his chest, wishing for the pain to go away.

Dream cursed in the Starrian language. "Why do these things happen..." He looked at Violet, and nodded to her. "Okay, you can go... But come back, or else I'll have to find you myself. Unless you can stop her from going, Miu." With a look at the others, he though of something. Violet was seeming to be attracted to something. It must be only sensible to demons, because nobody else felt it. But that meant...
Before anyone could tell him otherwise, he rushed off to Leila, Haucon, and Liam. Seeing Leila obviously in pain, being held by Haucon, he ran up to the two of them, and looked at Leila for answers. "Something's wrong... Are you alright? What's wrong? I'll try to help." His hand was already charging with power, he felt like it would have to be used shortly.
He then saw Liam, also in pain, but of a different sort. He would just have to wait, he couldn't treat two people at once. But there was a third matter to attend to as well. Crystal? You there?
Above him, he saw the flash of light that was his fairy friend. Yeah, I'm here.
One last thing, then you're done for a long time. Please...
Crystal donned her veil again, now practically invisible again. Aye aye, captain!
He sighed. Thank you... I need you to follow Violet. Find what's wrong, then report to me. Don't interfere with anything, though.
Will do. Crystal left, leaving Dream to attend to the others.

Haucon held Leila to him. "Hang on..." he whispered brushing a hair out of her face. "It'll be alright. Shhh..." he said stroking her forehead that was wrinkled in pain. He put his hand in hers. "Squeeze as hard as you need to." he whispered and gritted his own teeth. Dream arrived shortly. Haucon looked relieved to see him. "Can you help her?" he asked his eyes full of worry.

He looked at Haucon. "I hope so... Can you tell what's wrong with her? Because something similar was happening to Violet just now, but she wasn't in as much pain... She was being called to somewhere, and she submitted. Maybe Leila's not submitting, and it's causing her pain?"

Leila's head was already dotted with sweat as she did what Haucon asked. "Someone help him..." she said shakily, her body relaxing from exhaustion of having to deal with the beckoning of...whatever it was.
Taking in a deep breath, she finally whispered to Haucon, "...the cat..." as she glanced over at the house. "Take it to her...my life is in no danger.."

"I'll help Liam after I attend to you. So the sooner you can tell me what's wrong and how I can help, the sooner I can help him." Hopefully this would get her to tell him what was going on. He needed to help her, it was his sworn duty, and he could not live to see someone in pain when he could fix it.
