"yeah...." Kanamie's house was fairly nice sized, but all lights were out and it was dead quiet other than the sound of the waves on the beach "thank you..... Shiro......." she smiled sadly before walking up to her house and unlocked the door, she turned and looked at him "i guess i'll see you around....."

Kanamie walked inside and changed into more comfortable clothing and walked outside along the beach, she stopped in one spot and allowed the water to wash up on her feet, she sighed sadly and wrapped her arms around herself.

Shiro got home 2 hours later. He found Rei asleep on the couch, and his parents had gone out. He went to his room and locked the door.
"So, those are your strategies... why'd you let me be the one to duel though?"
"Because I'd get caught up in looking at her. I would've been off my game."
"Ah... I see."

Kanamie looked up at the stars, "why do i have to be alone.....why....." she lowered her head and walked inside she slid on some shoes and went out for a walk, she had ended up by Shiro's house and sat on a bench across the street for a break. she looked up at his window, but then looked away and got back up and slowly began to walk away.

Shiro felt someone staring. He looked out the window and saw Kanamie turning to leave.
"Hey... what is she doing here?"
He jumped out of the window and ran after her.
"You know... the look on your face when I took you home kind of said that you didn't want to be there. Atleast not alone... Do you want to get some coffee or something?"

Kanamie stopped and turned around with a small smile "sure, that sounds nice...." she walked up to him.

He took her by the hand and led her there.

Kanamie's face turned a bright red as he grabbed her by the hand but it vanished and she quickly followed behind "ok"

The cafe was small and warm. The lighting wasnt too bright, but bright enough to read. The waiter came and asked for their orders.
"I'll have one cup of coffee, black, with 4 sugars. What about you, Kanamie?"

Kanamie looked at the waiter "um i'll have the same, except no sugar please......" Kanamie looked at Shiro but quickly glanced out the window as her face turned a slight red.

"Right away." The waiter left them to get their orders.
"So, tell me about yourself. Are you a native to Domino, or did you move here like me?"

Kanamie looked at him shyly "well like you i moved here, i came from America to try and seek out a new beginning....." she looked down and fumbled with her fingers.

"America, huh? Hm. I don't remember where I was born. I lived in an orphanage until recently, and the people who adopted me lived out here. It's nice though, don't you agree?"

Kanamie nodded "i don't know what state i was born in but i was abandoned and left at an Orphanage until a few weeks ago i was allowed to leave on my own and i decided to move here to get away from it all...... my childhood was far from pleasant...." the waiter had came back with their drinks and she took a light sip of her strong coffee.
