Train racked her brain for a moment, then went a few yards and came to a ladder. She slipped down, her Pikachu following. It was dark again, and she had her Pikachu light the way as best it could.
A Zubat came soon, drawn by curiosity to the light. When it saw the light came from a pokemon, followed by a trainer, it was a bit angry. Trainers came in to much and disturbed the darkness it enjoyed, so it swooped down with a screech and attack the yellow mouse pokemon.
"Pikachu!" Train cried as the Zubat raked Pikachu with it's claws. Insticivly, Pikachu let loose a Thundershock attack. Since the Zubat was still touching it, the Zubat was hit, and fell to the ground.
The Zubat hopped to it's feet and took the the air again. It used a Leech Life attack to get some energy from Pikachu into itself.

Kasiya handed over the lone Pokeball that contained Hiro, and looked around nervously. Why she was nervous, she had no idea, after all she'd just handily defeated one of Koga's underlings. She paced back and forth a few times, wandering over to the couch and sitting down, looking up at the television to pass the time while she waited for Hiro to be healed.
IN SEARCH OF TRAINERS! was what the bold headline on the program stated, and soon the camera was turned onto a rather attractive woman with short dark hair. "Oh, it's Gabby's show!" Kasiya smiled, standing up to get a better look. The television was muted, so she could hear nothing. Very soon, they showed highlights of a battle between four Pokemon - Gabby and her partner's Magneton and Loudred, and also a Numel and a Geodude. For the most part, the battle wasn't all that exciting. Kasiya did notice that the Geodude seemed rather unwilling to fight - until its partner’s wild Embers scorched it. Finally, the news team was defeated, and the lens turned on the trainers.
Kasiya felt her heart jump into her throat, for there, clear as day, was none other than Keegan. Like a crazed Mankey she jumped up out of her seat, standing on the edge of a table so she could turn up the volume. A pang of jealousy shot through her at the sight of a cute pink-haired girl clinging tightly to him, looking rather pleased with herself. Kasiya was too busy shooting death glares through the screen to hear Keegan declare his innocence over the matter. "Look at her," she growled, her nose practically pressed up against the screen. "Hanging all over him like some cheap floozy!" She continued to grumble, stopping only when she heard the nurse calling to her from the desk.
"Your Arcanine is fully healed, now if you would, please remove yourself from the table and mute the television. Thank you for using the Pokemon Center, and have a nice day."
Kasiya blushed a little, and did as she was told. She took back Hiro's Pokeball, uttering a rushed "Thank you!" as she ran out the door. "He didn't mention he had a new girlfriend," Kasiya muttered to herself, kicking the ground as she walked back towards the gym where Koga and her Soul Badge were waiting.

Kilik groaned. I despise Psychic attacks.. he thought with a scowl. Clenching his fists, Kilik jabbed his index finger towards the wall of dirt. "Crash through it and follow up with a Thunderpunch!" He followed the command, although a bit differently than either one of them had hoped. The plug tripped on a rock and came barrelling through the wall of dirt, getting one of his plugs trapped in the earth. After a difficult struggle, Elekid managed to get free.
"Makes me wish I had raised Electabuzz from an Elekid," Rena cooed, resting her head on Kilik's shoulder to watch the battle in a psuedo-Kilik point of view.
The Pokemon reared his fist back, crackling with electicity, and a mad grin was across his face.

"Pikachu, hit it again, with everything you've got!" Train said, and Pikachu hit the Zubat with another bolt of lighting, and this time the bat pokemon didn't get back up. Train and Pikachu rushed past it, to the next ladder. They climbed to the top, and stepped into a brighter passage. They soon navigated their way to the end of the cave, and stepped back outside.
She headed back to Pewter City, but about halfway there, she spotted a Pidgey. Now was the time to train her Ratata, so she sent it out. "Ratata, Tackle on tht Pidgey!" She said, and Ratata slammed into the bird pokemon.
Pidgey sqwuaked unhappily at being disturbed. It kicked up sand in front of Ratata, and fluttered back a bit.
Ratata ran through the sand as Train told it to use Tail Whip. It hit the Pidgey with it's tail, lowering defense.

"Watch out!" Mike shouted, knowing that it was in vain. The Electric Pokemon had the advantage of speed.
Napalm flailed his arms, letting out a surprised whelp before being smashed in the beak by Elekid's Thunderpunch. He faltered over, catching himself with his other foot. While not as charged at his opponent's, the Magby balled his clawed hand into a fist, and thrust it forward, aiming for Elekid's head.

Before Sheena could react, Sheridan had taken out her cell phone, and pressed a single button. "I've got Sheena," she said quickly into the device and flipped it shut. "You're in trouble now," the elder sister taunted. "Why are you even here? Have you suddenly found some sense of justice and you feel you must strike down the wicked?"
"No, please!" Sheena cried, shaking her head and taking a desperate step back. "I don't want to go back!"
Keegan and been standing at his door quietly, having checked the latest message on his PokeNav. He must have missed the signal when he and Sheena were climbing down Jagged Pass. As the voices downstairs grew louder and more upset, he stepped out of his bedroom, and walked down the hall, leaning against the railing to have a look at what as going on. It was indeed Sheena down there, and she seemed to be in trouble. The boy pursed his lips, and sighed. She'd tried to help him. Perhaps he should return the favor?
"Sheena!" he called down suddenly, causing both his parents to jump and look up at him. "Run! Get out of here! Go to Flannery's gym! Tell her I sent you!"
"Keegan? Okay, I will! Thank you!" the pink-haired girl turned around, reaching for the door.
"You stay out of this!" Sheridan yelled up at the boy. "Just because you're mad at me for taking back my Pokemon doesn't mean you can involve yourself in our business!"
It was Keegan's turn to scoff. "Sheena's my friend, therefore making her like my family. And for the record, Helios will never be your Pokemon. He may rightfully belong to you, but he'll never be yours. Never. So take your stuffy bodyguards, and get out of here before I get really angry!"
Sheena let out a squeal as she found her path blocked. The two bodyguards had caught up with Windy, and one now held onto the Chimecho while the other stopped Sheena from escaping. Sheena kicked the one guard holding her Pokemon hostage and reclaimed her, hugging the terrified Chimecho gently. "Fine, I'll go back home," she said, glaring at her sister. "But on one condition."
"What's that?" Sheridan asked, hands on her hips.
"You really caused a lot of grief for my friend," Sheena said, glancing up at Keegan for a second. "So the least you can do is something for him. After all, he did take care of your Vulpix for..." she trailed off, not knowing just how long Keegan had been looking after Helios.
"Six months," Keegan said almost instantly, his temper barely in check.
"Yeah, six months," Sheena went on. "So, I'll go along with you back home to Lilycove, provided you do a favor for Keegan. Anything he wants."
Sheridan looked up at the redhead and sneered. Mulling it over in her mind, she finally nodded. "Fine, it's a deal. You hear that, Sweetie? Anything you want is yours."
"Anything I want?" Keegan repeated, leaning over the railing, one hand still clutching his PokeNav. He thought for a moment, then looked right into Sheridan's icy blue eyes. "Take me to Fuchsia City."

Seeing the displeased look upon the Pokemon face Mitsu spoke up. "Hey Sapphire. Change in plans. Give me a weak ember will you?" Mitsu asked pointing a finger at the girl's Pokeball. With an almost displeased look Sapphire obliged. He blew a few embers upon the girl's hand that had been clutching the red and white Pokeball. The rich girl immediately let go, screeching in horror as the flames raced her way. “OH MY GOD!” she screamed again before running away, tripping upon the ruffles on her billowy dress. She landed face first into the hard, unforgiving ground and came up with tears in her eyes. “You bi--”
“Little kids might hear you,” Mitsu sang, drowning out her annoying voice. The Pokeball on the other hand did not suffer too badly. Well it hadn’t until Sapphire made a mad pounce upon the poor device, crushing it to bits between his blue paws. “Say thanks,” the Shuppet piped up, grinning at the Houndoom. By now his trainer had disappeared, although if one were to say he felt a pang of sorry, well, they’d be lying through their teeth. “That’s better,” Mitsu grinned watching the Ghost Pokemon fly out of sight. “Although, was it really right to break someone’s Pokeball and let their Pokemon free?” she mused afterwards. “Ah well, her loss.” She turned to Ebony and smiled, “Looks like you’re still stuck with me!”
Aftering being rudely interrupted Mitsu stepped into the Pokemon Center, a welcomed sight to all trainers. “I need a healing and a few check ups wouldn’t hurt either,” Mitsu said handing the six Pokeballs over to Nurse Joy. “Thanks!” Plopping down on the soft couch Mitsu dug around in her backpack. “Ebony!” Mitsu groaned looking over at the Gengar that sat munching on her apple.

The plug groaned, taking the hit to his jaw. "Elii!" he cried, pulling his fist back again with a growl. It was as if every angry feeling that Elekid ever had bottled inside was coming out during this battle.
Kilik watched and blinked. He's quite angry.. Shaking his head, the boy called for another Thunderpunch. "How long have they had this rivalry?" Rena asked, lifting her head up and looking at the two baby Pokemon on the ground, then glancing at Mike.
"A week, tops," Kilik blinked again, laughing slightly. Much obliged by the offer for another attack, Elekid's fist began to spark again.

Ding!
The ever-familiar voice rang and in a flash she was out at the desk claiming her Pokemon. She clipped the Pokeballs back into place before recalling Ebony back into his. "Who's company do I want right now?" she mused before clipping off the Pokeball that hung around her neck in the cool silver chain. The elegant Gardevior appeared in a shimmer of red light. “Thought you were going to keep me in there forever,” she said grinning at her life long trainer and friend. “Only if you’d stay there forever,” Mitsu teased in return. “I’m found out some great stuff,” she said turning to look into the Pokemon’s eyes. “I’m sure you already know, and never bothered to tell me.”
“Tell you what?” Karri asked a bit hesitantly.
“That I was adopted, that I have a brother. That I really don’t have any family to call my own.”
“You do have family, and you know it. As for the rest, I knew, but Touya wanted me to keep quiet so I did.”
Her word trapped in her throat, Mitsu was silenced. “Sorry,” she muttered. She felt a pang in her heart, but nothing too great. The news that had disturbed her now did not seem too great. “You know what Karri?” Mitsu asked.
“What?”
“You’re a know-it-all.” And with that the duo was out the door and headed to the fiery gym.

Crenu Stood up and called his pokemon back into their pokeballs. They had rested enough, and Crenu's new resolve of evil had made him impatient. He walked around to the other side of the Azalea Town Gym, a new stride in his step. It was as though he had now cleared his mind of every distraction possible, no longer caring about any of the thoughts that held his mind else were. All he cared about now was winning, power, and his pokemon. Standing at the Gym's front door, he stood looking inward as h planned things out in his mind.

“We’ll go straight to gym and you’ll get the first match ok?” Mitsu said to Karri. She had always taken part in a gym match since she was reliable and one to endure through it. “Nightmare for sure, and maybe someone else. Ivy would be a nice twist,” Mitsu decided, although she wasn’t too sure about the latter idea. Fire wasn’t a Grass Pokemon’s favorite element to be pitted against.
In front of the gym there was a battle. It took a moment or two for Mitsu to spot the small contenders, a baby Elekid and a Baby Magby. She looked up expecting new trainers but her eyes met the face of two familiar ones, and a girl she vaguely remembered. “Kilik and Mike?” she said aloud to herself as she drew nearer to the gym walls. “And the girl from Five Island, was it?” Karri said speaking up, “and there’s some guy wearing . . . Charizard wings? In the distance.”
“Yeah it’s them,” Mitsu said confirming her previous question and not bothering to take note of the boy sporting the fake wings. He was probably out of sight by now anyways she reasoned. So much for going straight to the gym for a battle she thought as she found herself watching the two baby Pokemon battle it out. True rivals, she decided.

Mike raised an eyebrow at Rena's gaze, unsure as to what she wanted with him. Snapping back to the fight, he groaned as Napalm was about to be hit by another static charged punch. "Don't let him hit you around like that!" He barked, commanding another Psychic attack.
Napalm shut his eyes once more, a blue outline pulsating throughout his body. With Elekid's fist just centimeters from his face, the Fire Pokemon let out a shout, enveloping his foe in the same blue outline encasing the Plug. It was an incredibly difficult task to stop something that fast, but Napalm held his concentration, squeezing his eyes shut. Elekid's large fist still pushed against Napalm's barrier, as the Fire Pokemon began to squeeze his foe using his telekinetic powers. A slight crack appeared in the ground as the baby Pokemon pressed together, the raw energy becoming unstable. The two appeared to be locked in place, the strain on the Magby's mind doing about as much damage to him as it was to his opponent.

Seeing that her son was up, Violet smiled at him before hitting him hard on the head. "What the hell do you think you were doing? Almost dieing on me! You almost gave me a heart attack when I got a phone call from Meowth!" She said angrily before hugging him. "Don’t scare me like that again." She said sniffling.
Moving his hand up that was somewhat shaky he rubbed where Violet had hit him. "Ouch... Sorry about all that Mom." Looking down he could see Kenny laying on his lap exhausted. "Nurse Joy, could you heal my Duskull for me?" He asked. The small ghost had brought lead him back and it had been hard for the young pokemon. He wanted to be sure that he was ok. "Can I have a bath or something?" He asked to. He didn't think he would be able to stand up for long or at all right now.
"Oh of course!" Nurse Joy said picking up Kenny from the bed. "The bathroom is in the next room over." She said before leaving the room with the small ghost pokemon.
"All right you Nurse Joy." Violet said over her shoulder. Looking back at Dante she smiled slightly. "Time to get up, Mommy is going to take you to get you all cleaned up." Before Dante could even protest the strong woman picked him up and took him into the bathroom. Drawing warm water into a nearby bathtub before leaving. "I’m going to get you some more clothing. I will be back in a half an hour, here’s a towel." She said reaching into a cabinet and pulling out a towel and setting it on the ground next to the tub.

The electricity that flew off of the barrier crashed against the ground, creating small holes in the dirt. Elekid groaned under the psychic strain, still pushing his fist forward. His teeth were clenched together so tightly, it seemed as if they were about to shatter. The Pokemon shut his eyes tightly, letting out a cry. More bolts shattered the grass, shooting it up in large clumps.
Kilik clenched his fists, unable to issue a command. Although they were just children, these two Pokemon seemed as if their battles were destined. It was really up to how Elekid chose to handle the situation now.
