Kibo: Well, I have a tendency to kill things: animals, plants, people; and raising them, over and over again. It's quite fun on my end. Not so much on the other end of the blade, though.

"I wonder what the tree would say if you could understand it."
Storm grinned, having a sudden thought.
"I wonder what Zia and Maida would do if you tried that with them."

"They aren't dead; they're just...spirits."
Storm struggled for a simple expenation.
"They were never alive. They are just another form of life, like you or I. Only, as well, spirits. The surface tounges don't really have a word for what they are. The closest thing you have is spirits and guardians. That doens't begin to cover those two."

"Dzulebul, is what my people call them. Among other unsavory things."
Storm made a face.
"They aren't found of creatures like the crow girls. And they likewise."

Kibo: Which is why they're here now, rather than "safe" *chuckles* in the Underdark?

"No. Zia and Maida are here becuase they are afraid of the dark. Weird, huh. Old as the world itself and they're still afraid of what lives in the dark."
Storm laughed.

Kibo: Well, people are often afraid of what they don't understand, and people who are older don't often understand things of the new "generation."

"Just how old do you think their mentality is, Kibo. The girls are twelve."
