Again with the childishness. Her gaze turned back and forth between the fighting couple. Honestly, what the white pork bun said was true. Even though they probably weren't married at all they acted as if they were. Granted they didn't act much of a 'happily married' couple, they still acted like a couple none the less.
She shifted her body at an angle so she could face both at the same time. Her eyes gazed back and forth between Kurogane and Fai. She pondered at first if she should ask in the first place since it seemed a touchy subject. Yet her curiosity got the better of her, "I can see why Syaoran is traveling with Sakura, as they seem very close together, almost to the point of inseparability. But may I ask as to why the two of you travel, too? You need not tell me much, I am only curious to know." She said softly. Her emerald eyes gazed back and forth once more as she awaited an answer from either.

Syaoran blushed as Lennth said Sakura-san and him where very close. But he did love her. Everyday he spent with her made him happy. Fighting for her being with her was nice. He never wanted it to end.
"Syaoran-ku." She whispered. She got a bit closer to him.

Raistlin's golden hourglass orbs scanned the area. It was fairly quiet, minus the few groups of chittering kitsu's of various types. This was a most intruiging realm for the sharp minded mage. A glance his brother's way and he knew the large warrior was bored just sitting around. "Go wonder Caramon, maybe you'll find a bar" He said with a half smirk. Caramon eyed Raistlin, not moving too fast even though the thought of a bar tempted him. Raistlin waved a slender hand "I will be fine" he said tartly, irritated by his twins worrying. Caramon nodded, smiling "Sure Raist, hollar if you need anything" He said with a nod of his big head as he wondered off in search of something...anything that would interest him.
For the first time since entering this world, the mage was alone. He sighed deeply, and looked around once more. Seeing that there was no one right near him, he decided it would be a good time to work on a few spells. To him, his firebolt's needed some work. Reaching into one of his many pouches, he grabbed a little bit of the required herb and closed his eyes, summoning the spell from his memory. Chanting softly he flung the herb in an upword direction, just incase someone came out of no-where. A firebolt shot from his extended fingertips, soaring upwords until turning into a harmless dust, that disappeared with the wind. Despite the spectacle, he frowned. He can do better.
Caramon stopped and saw the firebolt, his hand grasped his sword, until he saw his brother atop the hill, practicing. He smirked and nodded "Raist..." he whispered under his breath, and continued exploring.

Lenneth's senses tingled at the sense of magical presences. Her ears perked about during the conversation between the two twins, though she chose to ignore that private conversation. She only tilted her head to face Raist without turning her body away from the threesome in front of her and the one beside her. Her eyes raised a brow at the mage, trying to figure out what the cause was for his magical outburst.
"Are you so bored now that you are sending out fire balls at random?" She asked, intrigued by his display of magic. The kitsu didn't think he was the type to so openly display his skills, all the more so in front of strangers. He appeared much more reserved beforehand, especially when the two of them just met.

Kurogane perked his ears at the question. "Why do we travel? I'm just trying to find my way back to Japan. I just happened to get stuck in this group along the way." Why else would he be traveling to other worlds? So he got kicked out of his world, his goal was simply to return. Just as the kids goals were to get the feathers back. And Fai's was to... Kurogane looked at the mage, who caught his eye and gave a simple smile.
"I'm just traveling to avoid someone. There's really no other reason. I'm just helping the princess in the process." Fai closed his eyes with his smile, it wasn't a lie, just a very simple truth. One without an end in sight.((sorry for the late late reply!))

Raistlin turned his attention to Lenneth, and smirked softly. Giving a gentle shrug of his shoulders "It wouldnt bode well for a mage to become rusty." He said with a nod. "And i wanted to make sure the spell would work in this world. Things might've been different. " For the most part that was true, he still felt the magic within him, but expelling it might've been a different process in this world. He was greatful it was the same. "I did not wish to intrude upon your conversation..." He indicated towards her conversation with the others, that he was not involved in. He noticed the clouds had parted somewhat, and a bit of sun was peeking through, 'Dulak' He whispered to his staff, and the light atop it went out.

Her gaze returned to Kurogane as he answered her question. They both had interesting reasons behind their traveling. Her curiosity, however, rested with the pale kitsu once more. He was traveling to avoid someone, but she wanted to know who it was. Of course, she wanted to know the reason behind it too. She had to keep true to her words, however. Pursuing it any further would break the indefinite promise between the bunch of them.
"That is very kind of you two, despite your personal reasons, too." Her tails flickered behind her as she obtained more knowledge from the bunch. She thirsted for more subconsciously, and without realization she asked, "This 'Japan' of yours sounds very intriguing..." She took a pause in between to gather her thoughts into words, "Pray tell...What is it like there?"
[It's ok. <3]
"You? Turn rusty?" She could almost laugh from such words coming from his mouth. Raistlin who considers himself a great mage, one who has gone through many trials at the cost of his health among other things grow rusty? She turned to him again, her eyes gazing upon his. "You are welcomed to join into the conversation if you would prefer. You need not be such a stranger. I am sure you are curious about certain things, too." Lenneth answered firmly.

Kurogane lifted his brow at Lenneth's question. This is the first time anyone bothered asking about his homeland. He couldn't help the swell of pride he held for his dear home and the chance to speak of it. "My Japan is under rule of my princess Tomoyo. She is a just leader, if not a little too kind. She's the one who sent me away, apparently I was doing my job of being a royal guard too well. Otherwise it's a peaceful country, besides the few monsters that roam out of line." Kurogane smirked as he remembered all the times he'd destroyed the monsters to protect his country.
Fai blinked at Kurogane's description. This is the first time he had heard of his world as well. It seemed like other realms they've seen, simple technology, a few magic, and a handful of monsters of course. Fai looked toward Lenneth, "What about your home Lenneth, if I may ask? You haven't mentioned it at all."

The sly mage chuckled. "Even the greatest can be hindered by inaction" he bowed his head softly. His ears perked at the other's description of his homeland, it intruiged him. But in all honesty, the mage found such peace...boring. Thats not to say he's in favour of world consuming wars, but the odd skirmish here and there, well there was no harm in that. "It seems there are many from far off worlds....curious how all have ended up here...." his golden orbs drifted past everyone present, he mused aloud. He was indeed curious as to what purpose, if any, there was in such many types being brought together. But then again the fates were indeed mysterious in their ways.

The swell pride Kurogane carried through in his speech about his country. Not only did the patriotism of his country carry through, but his love of it did so, too. It seemed a peaceful one, otherwise. She was glad to know his world wasn't immersed in the jaws of war, unlike hers when it was near Ragnarok. Though in truth Ragnarok approached and unfolded due to the Gods' selfishness, even if it has long passed since then.
She shrugged off that thought as she thought of a way to answer Fai's question. Which world, though? She didn't really...belong to either the Gods' realm or the human realm. Originally she was born in the human realm, but after her passing she was reborn as the Valkyrie-kitsu she is. "Hmm..." She pondered for a moment. Many thoughts swirled into her mind, but she wanted to condense them into something that would make sense to these kitsus.
"The Gods' realm was relatively peaceful...The occasional competition between them happened once in a while. The mortal realm...Well, that was always under the flames of war. When it was close to the end of the world, many catastrophes happened. The Gods were no longer competing in a friendly way. They were seeking ways to over throw one another. Because of that the mortal realm sank further into the depths of war. Everything came to an end, eventually. But things are better now. More things have revived and many of the Gods were reborn again." She shrugged her shoulders at the thought of Ragnarok. It was no walk in the park experience for her. Though there were many memorable experiences to remember for a life time, she wished certain things turned out differently.
Lenneth turned to face the mage once more, closing her eyes in deep thought. Fate was a curious thing, she was from another world, too. She arrived earlier than most of the kitsus lingering here now, but she still didn't know how all of them gathered here at once almost simultaneously, too. "Hmm, now that you mention it...It is a curious thing, indeed. Kitsus from many other worlds often end up here, but not as many as this massive influx all at once. There must be something attracting so many here at once."

Fai pondered over the kitsus words. Someone who actually resided in the realm of the Gods'? She must be wiser and stronger than she was letting on. Fai smirked, picturing Kurogane's reaction should he tell him Lenneth waas stronger than him. And the world, at least the living world, that she mentioned had meet its end. He wondered if that would be one of the possible worlds they would visit.
And it was true that many kitsus had been drawn to this realm all at once. Though he couldn't pinpoint the source that drew them here. "I surely hope there is nothing sinister lingering in this realm. Perhaps a trap of some sort. But if that was the case I'm sure one of us would have sensed something, ne?"

Syaoran looked to the ground when kurogane-sama talked about his homeland. He felt bad for seeing his past. 'I'm sorry.' he thought. After a minute he looked up ti reasurre the Princess that he was fine.

"Hmmm, I doubt it would be sinister. Neutral, at worse," she mused. The kitsu didn't sense anything sinister around the time of the influx of kitsus. In fact, she didn't sense anything at all. There was a growth in auras and magical presences, but that was because some of the kitsus that traveled here had magical abilities of their own. Aside from that, nothing really happened either. No big events, natural or man-made. If by chance this was a twist of fate, it turned out an interesting one. Never in her life had she seen so many kitsus gathered at once place. And to think this event would eventually break apart; many of the kitsus leaving to return to their world or another.
"A strange twist of fate must have done this. A very strange one, indeed..." Even if it was something sinister, she can't bring up a basis for that sinister. Everything had a reason to it, and if anything sinister happened it had to sprung up from something if it were to latch onto this realm. Granted most of the kitsus; especially the ones she met were quite peaceful beings, it was still strange how so many of them were here at once.
The worried expression on the boy's face brought worry to hers, too. "Did you sense something, boy?" She asked curiously. If he did, then their senses were not as acute as they thought.

Kurogane looked down at the boy, hearing his mumbled apology. Hadn't he told him it was nothing for him to be ashamed of? But of course, this boy was too kind to ignore the situation of his past. The best Kurogane could do was hope the boy would eventually get over it on his own. He placed a paw on Syaoran's head, giving him a small nudge to know that it was not his fault.
Fai watched as Kurogane patted Syaoran on the head. He too remembered the event with the book. Syaoran had been troubled by seeing Kurogane's past without his permission. But Kurorin was understanding, and Fai smiled at his efforts of kindness.
