Watching bemusedly as Iden beat down every garrote wire that was strung across the entrance to the new room, William noticed the face emerge from the far wall of the room they where entering; the cold sensation of dread flooding him. Swinging the shotgun from its position slung on his back and into his shoulder, William lined up a shot for the face in the wall; a shot that never came however as Iden began to beat a crater into the place where his face had been.
"Anyone wanna tell me what that s**t was all about?"

Ice is a fleshcrafter... he makes kine into the images of his obsessions....
*Yoh spoke the words very quietly as the Iden BEHIND the ice laughed silently at the real Iden's attempts to punch through to him, and pointed off to the left.
As they watched, a new tunnel would open up, the ice melting back to reveal a passage way. The sides of it were lined with figures encased in the ice. Most looked like Corbin though there were some other familiar faces there too. Most were screamign silent, unable to move anything save their eyes as they stood sentinel on this path that led down into... water. Another underground lake linking two areas*

This ain't standard fare, though.
Truth be told, the face meant little. Iden had wanted to find the space the face was occupying more than he cared to choke the s**t out of it. But alas, now it was time to swim.
Goody. Perfect excuse to take five again. Through the water, out the far side, dry the guns and move on, just like the last time.....

A ********! Not good, so very not good; that coupled with another dive this deep into the cave, William was beginning to get worried that he would not leave this place ever. Waiting for Iden to take the dive, William would walk up to the pool a hesitate bit, before turning to Yoh still standing behind him.
"You mind saving my a** if I freeze up down there?"
With that said, William dove in and again clawed his way to freedom along the roof of the pool; practically leaping out of the water when he saw the light on the other end.

*The tunnel went on for a long way, and after nodding to William, Yoachi followed him in, Extending his efforts to keep the hybrid as warm as he could even In the water.
The next area was a mass of small corridors, that wove into and around eacxh other, made of black ice. Thisw had the effect of being like mirrors, confusing and causing all of them to likely walk into several walls. Which would be fine until Yoachi discovered the issue with this area.
Walking into one wall by accident, his right arm sunk into the ice, and became trapped*
AHHH!!! HELP!

Black, mirrored ice.
Bad sign? Yes. Worse sign? It seemed the chasm was deeper and longer a trek than last he had visited. Being herded sucked.
Keeping cautious, Iden did what he could, but then...
OH s**t.
Whipping around, he saw the scene unfolding as a very, very bad sign. It wasn't just that he stuck TO the mirror from the wet, it was that he was sucked INTO the mirror. Having none of these shenanigans, Iden grabbed hold of his sibling and heaved backwards, trying to reverse the process.
WILL. BREAK THINGS.

Slinging the shotgun, William would quickly tug out the M203 from its holster on his hip; pointing it at the wall beside Yoh and Iden, yet a safe distance away, Will fired. The HEI HELLHOUND aniti-tank grenade leaped from the barrel to the wall in a split second; the explosion shattering the ice all around them. William would load and shoot a second round into the ceiling, then the opposite wall; keeping the fire up until he was given the order to stop from Iden. He had not a damn clue what in the ******** was going on and did not want to figure out the hard way.

*the first blast freed Yoachi... the second made the ceiling start falling, the third sent cracks through the FLOOR.
There wasnt even enough time to shout about it before the whole room collapsed and fell downwards, dropping the trio like stones into... a web?!*

Yes, the daftness continued. Webs? Not good. Webs meant things that made webs. Spiders and worms and other crazy s**t. It wasn't a profound leap of logic to think of a giant spider as potentially wanting to slurp them all.
Thus...
WILL. KEEP BREAKING THINGS.
And while he's at it, Iden would do the same with those claws of his...or his lighter, if he could reach it. Mmmmmm suicidal maneuvers...

Spinning about every which way, William kept up the fire; the detonations from each round breaking away pieces of walls and webbing, dropping them further down the hole until they reached the bottom of the hole that they where in. Getting up and removing any clinging bits of web, William dumped out the empty shell and dropped a new one in before re-holstering the grenade launcher.
"Any idea where in the hell we are now?"

Yes!! In deep s**t!!
*Yoachi swore vehemently as he picked himseld up off the floor. His lower left arm was NOT looking good, and he held it cradled to himself as he checked over all his other scratcxhes, cuts an dbruises*
Im a MAGE. If you'd STOP shooting after you dropped us down here, I coudl have GENTLY gotten us down with heat! But noooo, shoot EVERYthing in sight and PRAY! Hah!
...anyone else hear that whispering?
*the floor was stone here, and ahead, a black tunnel headed upwards. From here came the whispering. While from aBOVE... chittering suddenyl started up as three HUGE spiders started to climb down the wall towards the men*

See, I told you. Webs == spiders == BAD DAY BAD DAY BAD DAY.
So Iden turned to Yoh.
If you want, you could try now...before Will breaks things with his happy little deathstick...Also. WILL. CEASE FIRE.
Why? Because Iden didn't want potentially caustic chunky bug bits falling on him, that's why.

"Already did, Jesus make up your minds; hows the arm?"
Moving over to look at Yoh's arm, William would be distracted by the whispering shuffles from up above them; looking up he would be met with the sight of giant spiders moving down to join them. Bringing his shotgun up, William drew a bead on the closest one before nudging the others towards the exit of this hole.
"I suggest moving, right now; unless you want me to get trigger happy with those things right above us."

No need. Iden, take a look at my limb. I cant afford to be gimpy armed right now.
*While he spoke, he was looking up at the spiders. And snarling. There is nothing quite like the snarl of a naga.
His voice started to bite out syllables, his upper right hand raised towards the first spider. Smirking, he snapped out the last syllable.
Raw power, violet and noisy, sprung from his hand and hit the spider EWill was aiming at. The spider shrieked... then horrific crackign noises came form it as it slowly turned inside out, one of Yoh's pouches turning to ash as eh laughed and lined up on the second one, repeating the incantation.
The final spider fled*
Heh heh. Such a useful hand of power. hows my arm? Cant feel it.
*Whci was because it was now so diseased and rotted down, it was about to fall OFF, or so it looked*

Arm...rotting.
Somehow Iden was unsurprised. He shook his head as Yoh inverted the spiders' squishy bits.
Kid? You're down to three. I'd advise you amputate, cus ******** if that doesn't look like it's gonna spread. Gangrene's nasty.
That said, spiders gone, Yoh's arm handled...time to go.
Iden was getting very much tired of the unending journey. The longer they went, the less ammo they would have and the more fatigued and wounded they would be.
Not a good combination. Already he was beginning to feel like he'd dragged his brothers to hell with him.
