Shuiro couldn't help but get into the enthusiasm he was throwing all over the place. "Well, when you put it that way, it does sounds a lot more useful than what I pictured it to be." Isn't there a jutsu used with them too? They were pretty much on their way out of the hospital by then. "Alright... so... do wea head to the weapon's shop, or to the Kage's tower to grab a mission? I'm not letting you do one of those alone, after all. You'll take up all the fun..."

Shadow shot out another grin as they left the hospital. Though she claimed she was not going to let him go alone due to taking up the fun, he detected a slight sense of worry. He kept his smile up and gave a response
Kage's Tower first, i need money to pay for that weapon. Until then hold onto this, as collateral. Shadow then pulled out the folded Fuuma Shuriken and handed it to her. Just until i buy another one! So, shall we? He then moved with a merry skip in his step towards the giant tower that he could only assume was the Kage's...

She couldn't help but smile in return as she stepped out of the hospital's mains doors with him. It was now time to head for the tower. She was surprised when he handed her his own Fuuma Shuriken. Handling it carefully she thanked him. "Alright, now let's head out and see what neat mission they'll have..." I hope we can get a good one, the last one I did wasn't that exciting... exspecially since the prisoner was such a pushover...

Kiyoko looked back at Yuumei and waved her toward the cafeteria. "Come along, then... We'll need to eat." She smiled and was suddenly slipped back into her guise: Kiyoshi. Her features were a different kind of soft, and she seemed to gain an inch or two despite her regal bearing. He smiled, walking toward the food, whispering to one of the workers who already knew what he was going to ask, the worker scurrying off to the kitchen. Kiyoshi held his arms out dramatically 'And this is the cafeteria! The food won't kill you, an-... Well, it won't kill you." He grinned slyly.

Except Yuumei wasn't behind Kiyoko anymore. Like a curious, ecstatic, six year old, the young Sannin was all over the place, admiring the different parts of the cafeteria in such speed that it almost seemed like she was Shunshining all over.
Back with Kiyoko now...Yuumei sighed - happily -.
This place was huge!
Sure Konoha's was big too, but...after years of not seeing a big hospital, it's amazing!
"Oto only had a tiny clinic..."
Tappa tappa.
Soft padded feet on marble floors...
Huh?
"Kuro, why are you..?"
"Firstly, I don't have arms do I?" Stated the tiger as-matter-of-factly. The tiger looked over his shoulder, at the sleeping child on his back. "And he's kinda attached to me right now..." Nikolai did something to stop Akeru from falling off and he had no clue how to de-tach the kid.

Kiyoshi chuckled softly as the patients in the hospital seemed completely at ease with a giant tiger in their cafeteria... "I suppose it's a break from our shinobi..." A small grin as Kiyoko stepped up, bowing to the tiger. "A very nice day to you, sir. If I might have a look? I think I may know how to ease your burden." Kiyoko didn't make a move toward the tiger, and didn't assume anything. She just stood there, her tiny frame contrasting with the tiger. Nikolai stepped into the hospital, setting his scythe on the porch and kissing the doorway on his way in. He looked down to both of his arms and closed his eyes, flexing his arms and gritting his teeth as the hundreds of needles disappeared and the wounds closed. He took slow, quiet steps that were quite natural to him. he ended up just behind and to the right of his Mistress, and his eyes scanned the crowds in a well-practiced pattern, eliminating potential targets. One might not have believed that he had been here against her will only but a few hours ago...

"Kuro, kuro..." Yuumei complained, whining playfully as she buried her nose into the white fur of the tiger's neck. "You take up too much space... <3"
"Are you calling me fat!" But the veinpop disappeared as quickly as it came and Kuroshiro propped himself onto the floor so that Kiyoshi could de-tach Akeru from his back. "That would be wonderful." He said, with a nod. Not that the boy was very heavy though. "Hn, Yuumei...you sure his family feeds him?" Kuro pointed out jokingly to his mistress. Though that might've been a little unfair...it was strange, the boy had a near bottomless stomach back in Oto, yet he was as skinny as some refugee...
Must be quite some metabolism Uchiha had.
She grimaced slightly. "Hush you." Good thing Lady Kage won't hear of this...course her little cousin had enough to eat. But something else caught her attention. A weak stirring told her the child was waking...

Nikolai stepped forward, reaching up and untying the boy from Kuro's back, without the slightest discomfort beyond the actual boy on his back. He left the child be, though, and didn't disturb him, as he could feel the blood flowing faster in the child's body, and could sense the movement within. He stepped back behind his Princess and averted his eyes, waiting for instruction or doomsday, whichever came first... And with his being caught... Well... Those two might come at the same time...Kiyoshi grinned and watched the exchange with a bemused expression. He truly enjoyed people, although how much of that was him and how much of that was Kiyoko was still difficult to guess. And then there was Nikolai... She'd been watching him watching her for some time, now... And she'd had to admit, he was... Dedicated... To his work... Although, she really didn't mind, as she'd seen the glances her way when his armored shell had been breached. She grinned now, a sly, teasing smile to herself.

As if awakening from a deep sleep, the boy slowly sat up, and regarded Yuumei and the others with heavily half-lidded eyes. "...mei..." A soft whisper. "Yuu...mei..."
Yuumei approached Kuro, before reaching up, and gently ruffled Akeru's hair. "Awake now?" Frankly, it was starting to bother her a bit...he drifts constantly in and out of consciousness.
An unreadable smile greeted her. "It was...warm..."
"Haha. I guess Kuro being plump has some good after all."
An indignant: "I heard that!"
"'mei...can I be...a shinobi...?"
She blinked. "Huh?"
Kuro looked a bit blue in the face. "You WON'T want to know..." He muttered.
That kid asked as many questions as would a four-year-old! He was getting sick of the 'why's?
A sweatdrop at Kuro's expression-of-gloom-plus-muttering. "Come again? Sorry, I didn't quite catch that..."
"A shinobi. Can I be a shinobi?"
...
What was she supposed to say?
'You are one?'
"..."
"Because, Kuro said they could fly..." An innocent smile greeted the Sannin. "I want to fly..."
A scandalized expression.
The last time 'he went flying' Akeru nearly killed himself.
Every fiber of her being wanted to scream 'hell no!' but she resisted - not with that smile fixated on her.
"Kuro...don't fill his head with weird ideas..."
"I did not tell him that all shinobis could fly! He twisted the facts!"
Yuumei hugged Akeru, all motherly.
"My precious Aki, don't listen to that giant furball..."
"Hey! Why you, biased...stop taking his side on every issue!"

Nikolai reached out at some unseen signal in an unassuming gesture, placing a hand on Kiyoshi's shoulder. It wasn't particularly attention-grabbing, but it did happen. This was one of the reasons Nik was watching her... She was able to work through this... He kept his hand on her shoulder for a moment until some trigger tripped and he felt his leader's shoulder tense and relax. His hand returned to his side, but his eyes betrayed an emotion very much separate from clan loyalty. One second, Kiyoshi was smiling at the exchange between his patient and his friends... And the next, his eyes were closed, his face a practiced mask of peace. One more second, and Nikolai's hand was withdrawn from her shoulder, and he was standing on his own feet again. That was something that he noticed, though... It was definitely Kiyoko's shoulder that Nikolai had supported... And it was her that was thinking of him now. A mental shake of the head, and Kiyoshi was smiling again, watching Yuumei and co.'s conversation unfold in all its comedy. He had already checked the boy's eyes and he didn't need to check the pulse. He could already feel the boy's blood pumping. He was as well as he should be... Well enough even to be out of bed, if he had to be...

Later, after they had all chosen their pick of food...but he didn't feel like eating yet. He wandered around the room, no one seemed to mind... In fact, most were whispering something that sounded distantly like 'cute kid'...until he accidentally bumped into a towering, gruff looking, bald, Jounin-apparent. A small 'oomph' escaped the child as he hit the ground, wincing at the pain.
"Watch where you are going, brat!" To be honest, this man looked more like he belonged to some mercenary group with all those tattoos and piercings...
"G-gomen..." He managed out shakily, shifting back slightly at the hostility in this rough-looking shinobi's eyes.
Eyes...angry eyes...
"What's this...?" Something glittered on the ground, and that man picked it up. A kunai. "Gold?"
That's!
"W-wait! T-that's mine!"
"Haha, a brat owning a solid gold kunai? ...quite some smithing skill in this little beauty too...hn...an orihalcon framework to keep shape...ahh..." Akeru had tackled him, the boy's fist aiming for the stomach...a feint, a foot was swung for that spot instead... But the older shinobi was much stronger and faster. A painful kick - he made sure of it - to the boy's shin before kicking the child in the side. A foot crushed painfully against the boy's stomach. The other patients were crowding around now, yelling for him to get his foot off the child.
"Humph! Why are you all getting so worked up for? Some useless shinobi wanna-be brat should be taught a lesson. A civilian's kid? Merchant maybe? Too bad you can't ask your pops to buy you a shinobi certificate... Ah well, this is a good token...hm...?"
Yuumei had gone over by Akeru's side. Her crimson eyes were cold...her yari spear pointed to the offending man's throat. A Sannin's chakra levels, when infuriated... "Get your foot off of him." She said, her voice quiet, close to a soft hiss. "Get it off, or I will slice it off...Kuroshiro." Without warning, the white tiger jumped through the air and slammed his body against the offending man. The golden kunai flew into the air...
Kuro caught it.
Humph. So Kuro was trying to keep down casualty as less as possible. She had meant for him to snatch the kunai...but this way was fine, too. Yuumei tended to Akeru, holding the child gently against her arms. "Aki...Aki...it's ok..." To her surprise, the boy snatched the weapon from her hands.
Breathing was laboring...but he ignored the urge to cough...most probably blood. His eyes glittered coldly violet...he didn't remember how to hold the kunai...but it came, so naturally...as if from a previous life or dream... "Do you want to ascertain that statement?" His voice was icy.
"Hah, so says the brat that hides behind a woman!"
"A woman who could take the likes of you down anytime." Snorted the boy, an infuriating smile on his face. His grip around the kunai clenched: a clear message to Yuumei. 'Let him come. I'll kill him.'
"You brat - I'll rip that impertinent mouth of yours!"
Hmph.
Breaking free from Yuumei, he charged.
"Ake-! Kuro, stop him!!"

Kiyoshi's Hp: 870/900 Kiyoshi's Cp: 860/930
Kiyoshi knelt and pressed one hand to the floor, a shockwave flashing across the ground before a black-and-purple rosebush burst forth, wrapping itself around the idiot who'd decided to pick on a child.
Nikolai stepped forward quickly and grabbed Akeru by the scruff of his shirt, picking him off of his feet from behind.
Kiyoshi was sure not to spill any blood. He may not respect superstitions, but he still preferred not to kill people on his free time. His hands were hidden by his sleeves, so it couldn't be seen that the plant was coming from inside him. So at least his cover wasn't blown. Necessarily.
Nikolai held the boy out to Yuumei. "I believe this is yours?" He grinned.

There had been no need for Kuro to charge, so he stayed back. The ground rumbled, as thorns burst from the ground and ensnared the offender.
"A-arigatou..." Nothing could describe Yuumei's relief as she took Akeru into her arms.
"Unhand me." Hissed the boy, struggling. Could it really be sweet Akeru speaking...?
"Aki, Aki...no good would come out of beating people like him up..." Something about his eyes caught her attention...and her voice trailed off. "Aki...?"
Wasn't quite the Sharingan, that she knew from a glance alone. Very faintly was his eyes crimson, she thought she could even see a ghost of the black wheel...as if the limit had been close to surfacing. Very close... Impossible... There had been no one the child wanted to protect...here...or was there...?
"A...ke...ru...?"
An cruel sneer, elvish...eyes that seemed to almost glitter crimson. "Didn't I tell you..." His quiet voice, taunting at first...
...dropped to a soft whisper. So suddenly...had weakness laced his tone rather than the sadistic intonation. "...it's...Rei...mei..." His eyes were their usual amber-gold again. "Ugh..." The boy suddenly groaned, the hits he had taken didn't exactly do his recuperating body miracles.
He would not notice that time seemed to have frozen for Yuumei.
Suddenly, she became very, very afraid...
Afraid for Akeru's sanity.
The one who had attacked him was shaking, but not from fear of the thorns. The expression, that smile...shouldn't have belonged to a child but to an older shinobi...no...to no human being but a monster. "T-those eyes...n-not...Tengu...demon changeling!"

Kiyoko walked up to the man and looked him in the eyes, having the rosebush drive him to his knees. "See... There's a funny thing about men who abuse their power... Sometimes Fate turns on them, and Fate kills them for recompense of their karma... Now... If that had been Fate.. Then I just interfered with Her goals... You should be thankful, because if Fate had turned Her eyes on you, and gotten Her hands on you... Well, we all know what would have happened. So... Please... Don't waste my sacrifice, alright?" The rosebush had pushed the man's back to a wall, and Kiyoko had walked closer and closer the entire time, driving him even further back. "Demons are everywhere. They have some code of ethics. Demons are welcome... But I will not have your kind in my hospital, do I make myself clear?" A wave of his hand and the man went flying through the doorway, hitting the ground outside as the rosebush snaked back into Kiyoshi's sleeve before he turned around with a soft smile and sat back down to his breaded raw meat, Nikolai at his shoulder, eating a vegetarian salad. He was wearing a soft smile as if nothing had happened, although his eyes were observing Akeru as best they could. It wasn't completely odd for an amnesiac to suffer from mental distress, and the trees knew where that could go... But Yuumei seemed so deeply shaken... Hmm.

The worst headache...probably something akin to getting hit by a truck... As if thousands of needles had conveniently decided to pierce every cell of his brain. The boy winced, at the pounding pain.
...tengu? Demon changeling?
What on earth was that person talking about?
He was quite certain he was a bona fide human... But he didn't get a chance to protest such discrimination...
"...home run?" Commented Kuro, one paw held over glittering sapphire eyes as the flying twirly figure grew more and more distant.
"Ow...ouch..." Groaned the boy, still clutching his throbbing head, as he slowly shifted to sit up. Yuumei was next to him, healing his sustained or reopened injuries, while her lap served as a temporary cushion for his head. He paused for a moment, before looking down at the kunai still tightly gripped in his left hand. Amber-gold eyes blinked, twice, in confusion.
"...what...was I doing...?" The last thing he remembered was asking that man if he could have his...most precious possession back...
Most precious?
The boy turned the kunai over and over in his hands. Funny piece of article, it was. He doesn't remember it...but he knew it was his. "...what...is this...it doesn't look like a knife...too blunt...piece of jewelry? Ah..." The boy muttered but...his hands had froze at the base. Carved into the gold at the base of the kunai was a name...
'Akeru'...?
The light dancing on the precious metal made it almost seemed as if to be made of fire...or rather stoking the fire of the reflected light, as light swallows the whole weapon... Fire... A fan that stokes the flames. ...eh...where did that come from?
The boy peered into the hole at the base of the handle, blinking curiously. More importantly, how did he know how to use this funny blunt knife thing...
"It's a kunai, boy. A shinobi's weapon." Piped in the tiger, liking his paw lazily. Icy blue eyes fixated on the child. "You keep a better hold over that thing next time around."
Tappa tappa.
Soft padded feet on the floor, as he approached his mistress and the boy. Kuro gently licked the boy's cheek, almost affectionately. "You're such a troublemaker...lil' brat." And like that, he propped himself regally on the floor with his tail swaying, Kuro began preening his fur. And stopped.
Sapphire eyes fixated calmly on the child. "What do you say, to becoming strong, boy?"
"What do you say...to becoming a shinobi...?"
"But Kuro, we-..." Yuumei began, as she began threading a length of red strings to attach the kunai around the child's neck...as how he had formerly kept it, like a necklace.
"Who said he'll have to learn from the Academy? In fact, I daresay..." He had been in the Academy long enough back in Oto, Yuumei. He got nowhere. "You said it yourself, didn't you? Rank matters very little. As long as the kid knows how to protect himself..."
"U-um...I...I want to learn how to..." An embarrassed flush. "...I...I want to learn how to heal people!"
Yuumei blinked.
"Huh!?"
The poor kid was really getting flustered, trying to explain this new...idolization? Idolization of Yuumei and Takani-dono.
"I mean...i-it's really...a-amazing...being able...to...s-so people don't die..."
A gentle smile, as she ruffled his hair. "Aki...medic-nins can't do everything." Was there...a hint of regret in her voice? But she didn't want the child to get the wrong idea... "Besides, you're most probably..." ...a tank type...
"It's Rei-mei! Besides, you don't know if you don't try!" A soft pause. "I-I want to..."
Kuro yawned. "Boy, it's one step at a time. Currently, you have neither the capacity nor knowledge to even consider the medic order. Go learn the basics first." A gleaming eye fixed on his mistress, from who a tiny 'urk' escaped.
"If someone isn't too 'preoccupied' to do it..."
She gave up. She would've preferred it...if Akeru could live his peaceful life just a bit longer...but... Furball's got a point. Who knows when the next baldy will decide to pick on a defenseless child...
"All right...I'll do it..." She mumbled, with resignation.
And she hugged Akeru suddenly again, all motherly, tears at the corners of tightly closed eyes, with stars in a pink rosy background and all.
"But only when he's all better!"
