By the way, if you look closely, and I mean REALLY closely at that scene you can see Aerith healing Cloud's wounds. 8D

Are you implying incest or Cloud is about to say "Mother f*%$er" ? *sigh* Too good to be true, I guess... *sigh* Still, it was cool while it lasted. Monkey... Not quite... a huge argument from many anti-Clerises is that Cloud loves Aeris as a mother while Aeris loves Cloud as a lover. Which means, to them, they could never be together because Cloud doesn't love Aeris the way he loves Tifa. It stems from Cloud's near death experience in AC when his eyes are closed and Aeris puts her hand on Cloud forehead; he says, "Mother?" Clerises argue this point as a case of mistaken identity because Cloud's eyes were closed and Aeris did not speak until he spoke. Meaning there really wasn't a way that he could have known it was Aeris. All he knew was that he just felt something tragic and painful (him being shot and nearly dying) then suddenly something made the pain go away and he felt a gentle hand. So, like most "children" mostly men studies have shown, he assumes it is his mother. Both sides are understandable points in the debates to me. Mmm...I don't know....it does sound understandable on both sides...but it seems like the Cleris's just want to argue any point made. I don't really think Cloud regards Aeris as a mother, but probably someone as close as that since her aura seems to make Cloud feel safe and warm, an aura that Cloud felt before in his mother. You know, like a guardian angel sort of person. Anyways, I'll stop there.
Clerises tend to say that Tifa means this as she's the sister and Cloud is the brother, making their realationship a brother/sister thing. Cloti's will argue that Tifa does have feelings for Cloud, therefore she must of meant as Cloud being the father and she being the Mother....
Barret mentioned Tifa as a "mother" too.
Ah, all of this is very confusing. Y_Y

It's all argument and counter argument. Where one finds 'proof' supporting their side of the story, the other side will twist and turn that 'proof' against them so that it is an endless struggle between left and right.
It's a never ending cycle, but at times, one that is interesting to watch, and another that just brings choas, hate, and stupidity with it, y'know?

You know, like a guardian angel sort of person. Anyways, I'll stop there. Actually it makes logical sense that Cloud saw Aeris as a mother figure since, that was her major role in AC. She's not just the motherly figure to Cloud but to almost everyone. She was a mother figure to Cloud, Kadaji, the children, and possibly Loz and Yazoo, although I'm not sure on that one. Aeris's role in AC is basically mother earth. She is a mother to all not just Cloud. I don't even know why their is still a debate about the LTD anyway. The creators said that they wanted Cloud and Tifa together and even Aeris herself has said that she entrusted her feelings for Cloud to Tifa. Aeris herself is a Clotif. But seriously, I'm really tired of debating the LTD subject. It's truly beating a dead horse. Sometimes I kind of wish FF7 ended like Granada 2 (If anyone has ever played that game) so then there wouldn't be an argument about it. Actually now that I think about it Grandia 2 was very similar to FF7 in story line and character development but maybe that's just me.

I don't see why we gotta argue with others. Their opinions are their opinions and ours are ours. Don't make such a huge scene with fact filled posts telling them they're wrong and you're right.

Are you talking about the one I made on Cleris thread? If you are then I have to say that they are wrong. There wrong to keep saying "Cloud showed no affection to Tifa and only showed affection to Aeris." I mean, that's just stupid. I totally hate Aeris but I'm not going to lie and say Cloud never showed any affection to her just because I'm a Clotif. What their doing is simply blacking out the Clotif moments of the game so they can say that there wasn't any. Like I told them before, I don't hate Cleris for liking Cloud and Aeris, I hate them for making stuff up, and twisting facts, just to make Cloud and Aeris look cannon. At least when I argue my point I use actual facts from SE and not my own opinion.I only post on there when they start slinging mud at Clotifs, other then that I could care less about them or what they post. Now I'm going to change the subject because the LTD is ******** lame already. stare

Ah, so you support Tifa x Vincent? Or is it Vincent x Cloud? XD Well I have a bunch of CloudxTifa banners, one VincentxTifa banner, and one CloudxZack banner. I don't remember the RenoxYuffie banner but if you see it I guess it's there. I'm so forgetful when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Are there any game couples that remind you of Cloud and Tifa? I know that Ruydo and Milena from Grandia 2 slightly do and then there's Randi and Purim from Secret of Mana. I don't play many games sad
