Good news! The baby was born safely yesterday morning, and she and Kate are resting at the hospital. I'll be making a stop home each day so hopefully I can keep you all updated. Anyway, we're making a baby blogish type site which I'll be uploading soon. The site will be http://aarilyn.byerrum.net/. If you can't get through yet, just wait a while. wink Of course, this whole thing will mean that I'll be away for a while from my active posting duties.

Make friends with your coffee pot, because you probably won't be sleeping much for a while.

And once again Soleq, congrats. Good luck with fatherhood.

Well, it's day three, and she's slept through two straight nights. Fat chance that lasts much longer. She's incredibly calm, and she's passed all of her health tests with flying colors. People have said that she has my eyes and ears, and she has Kate's nose and lips. Otherwise, she looks like a clone of Kate when she was an infant. Family has been very supportive, and I've actually averaged about 7 hours of sleep each night. Again, fat chance of that lasting. Kate will be going home tomorrow, and I'll be off this entire week from work. Now it's off to school to write lesson plans for the substitute.

Congratulations Soleq. Welcome to sleepless nights and obnoxious sounds from something that is less size than you. Really, I'm happy for you. When they become a teenager you can come to me about "OMG, she's dating that one guy and about to smoke."

I watched a bunch of movies. Passion of the Christ, good movie. Not that gory. It could have been better. Have you ever wondered Jesus could have just been some ********' idiot that professes things? Kind of makes you wonder. Or, why people follow Christianity especially with what the Christians do. Would you follow the KKK? Exactly.

I saw Supersize Me. I'm going to buy it. Then show it to every fat person I see. I'm just kidding. I now understand why America is so fat these days after watching McLibel and Supersize Me this weekend. It's the food people. Seriously. Just don't come bitching to me about how fat you are and that you can do nothing about it. Ok, well you can, but whatever.

Watched a couple of movies I wanted to for a while. Lord of War and Wedding Crashers.

I'm gonna go see Brokeback Mountain too.

I figured out something about myself this weekend that I kind of already know. I really like watching people. I like watching them in their everyday activities. I think I could watch someone doing that for hours. Just to see how they react to things. I like that about myself. Too bad no one is comfortable with me staring at them, obviously.

For some odd reason I found Supersize Me morbidly fascinating. I am not a big fast food eater anyway though, unless you count my occasional soft spot for Panda Express and In-N-Out.

I need to cut back on eating things that are bad for me... Probably seeing Supersize Me would cause me to cry French Fry grease I'll probably start spending some of my money on veggies and the like to snack on, after I finish getting my downpayment on my car crying

Soleq, your daughter is absolutely gorgeous! Congradulations!

I went out of town for the weekend, and I guess it was all ok, until last night. I did something the other week, that I'm not exactly proud of. It wasn't horrible or anything, I didn't throw any of my morals out the window or anything, but ********... People are horrible creatures. I made out with a guy (stupid of me, I know), and I didn't tell like anyone. We were both drunk and stupid. But now, he's in his hometown telling everyone else that it went further, and it didn't. I wouldn't let him go further, he called me a tease, I said whatever and went to sleep. Anyway, I ended up in tears last night, cause I feel like a slut... Never thought I'd feel like this, cause I'm the least sluttiest person I know... But here I sit, feeling dirty. I took a scalding hot, 2 hour shower today, and I still feel gross. Yup, think I'm going to go cry again.

Yeah, I'm glad I watched it. I'd buy it, but then I'd have to buy it.

It's a really great movie, I highly recommend it to anyone who isn't x-core Christian.

And that is a trait we both share. I have always loved to watch people, for presumably the same reason you do. It's interesting to toy with the notion that everyone has a universe in their head, and to try to understand them. All of the philosophers who know it is impossible to fully comprehend another human. Roots of selfishness. But yes, I love the city mostly because of the people, and I have spent many afternoons in cafes and on my balcony watching. People watching, you know.
