Duellist Duellist turned bright red, suddenly. 'Well, that didn't go well...' he coughed, wondering if he had mispronounced the spell. 'I'm going to vacate the park for the next twenty-four hours, I think...' He coughed, and turned to the children. "Now, I'm going to make myself very clear, fledgelings... you are neither of you to pick on Bertram. He's a very powerful wraith, and under ordinary circumstances he'd blast you to a billion pieces..." the vampire snapped his fingers, and an unfortunate rat was demonstrated on. "Just like that." Sure, it was a little white lie. Bertram was capable of it, but he wouldn't do it that often. Maybe. "Besides, didn't your mother ever tell you that it's not nice to be mean to people?" He pulled some lollypops out of a pocket and gave them to the children (don't ask where he got them from. Just don't.). "Here... oh, and... Teddy, was it?" A ghostly hand smacked his bottom very hard. "Don't pick on your younger sister." The same hand smacked the little girl. "And you. If I hear you're stuffing your brother into things..." he smiled, and his smile was all pointy. "Are we both clear? I'll apologise to Bertram for you."  ((And now, by popular demand... the above is a semi-decent picture of everyone's favourite wraith!))
Teddy, on the other hand, cringed, a hand snatching the lollypop rebelliously as the other rubbed his toosh. For crying out loud, not even Pa had spanked him after his twelfth birthday!! Okay, so he acted really stupid most of the time, but demmit, he was almost thirteen when the two got killed. In fact, if they'd only lived for two more days...
Elly, took the lolly quietly, daring not to sniffle. Something about the man reminded her of Pa and well.. it wasn't a good thing either. Pa had some... bad habits when it came to her person. "Yes sir." As she spoke, she studied the neatly polished mary janes on her shoes.
Instinctively, the boy reached out for his sister's hand, something she thoroughly denied. Oh boy, an offended Elly was worse than an angry Elly.

But still.. xd -Tries to find the words..- If not for the hat, I'd call him a nerd. xd ][ ((Aww... what's wrong with the pic? You have a suggestion? I'm trying to make him look like a nice guy.)) Duellist raised an eyebrow, and sighed. Dealing with monkeys was irksome. Dealing with dead monkeys slightly less-so. But dealing with monkey children, dead or alive? 'Oi...' He could feel a headache coming on... Sighing, he knelt down to look them in their eyes. "Okay, kids... I'm sorry I used a smacking spell on your posteriors... But I'm very serious. I don't want any more fighting, right? You people depress me. Very much..." he sighed, and looked at Elleanore. "Elleanore, what do I have to do to get you to forgive your brother? Besides feed him to the giant spiders?" The vampire tried to joke. "Have him apologise?"

It would probably the smartest, wisest, more healthy thing Duellist could do. Leaving the park for a day or two. Duellist should know, that by the time Midori got better, she would still be getting worse. Midori carried grudges for a rather long time.
For the moment, Midori would flai her arms about as if she were directing a band, cursing and shouting outloud. "How dare that Duellist! how dare he! I was simply getting my revenge on b*****d-Bertram! Something which rightfully belonged to me!" As she would reach her home, the graveyard, as usual, the spirits quickly cleared away from her, far away..
The first gravestone she reached,she would haul off and give it a heavy kick. Naturally, this would cause it to crack at the spot where she kicked it.. and then hurt her foot. With another shout, which would echo all the way back to the hotel, she would go about assulting the stone with the blunt end of her scythe causing pieces flying this way and that. Little did she know, by the time she was done she would be worse off.
So, where was the other punky teen? He would making his way into the bar whistling a cheerful tune despite the fact that he'd just been shoved. He'd get that silly female back at another time! for the moment, he would simply walk over to the spot where Duellist sit, and lean against the bar with his back, letting his hands dangle while his elbows were used to prop himself up. "I believe you have something which belongs to me." He didn't care how busy Duellist seemed to be, he wanted the prize he won, and he wanted it now!

One can still be a nice guy without being dorky, his outfit should also accent the wraith. try a black complex shirt, emo glasses, and the black winter pants. If you want to go for a classier look.. Try the black winter coat, white complex shirt, black tie, and black winter pants. If you want, emo glasses.][

((Here. This is version one.)) ((And number 2.)) The vampire idly wondered why he had such an effect on the little girl. Then he chalked it up to his own aura of dark majesty and promptly forgot what he was wondering about. "I am not 'sir'. I am Duellist." He made it sound like that was all the title he needed. "Well, if you want to get technical as a vampire it should be 'My lord'. But... I've never bothered with that.' He snapped his fingers, and Bertram was called forth from wherever he had been hiding. The wraith blinked as he was suddenly warped from his own room, where he had been happily indulged in devouring the essence of yet another unfortunate rodent. "Um... master?" The wraith asked, brushing some hair back from his other eye. Duellist nodded. "Oh, yes... Theodore here wants to apologise. Don't you?" Bertram turned pink. "Um... oh, no...really. It's okay. No need!"

"Yes sir, Mr. Duellist sir." She wanted the torture to end... even if the handsome little wraith was there. Oh, she should just put her pride aside and hold her brother's hand...it would make things seem better. But, NO!! There was a fine line between mischief and cruelty and that Teddy needed to know the difference!
Theodore, on the other hand, recognized the sullen atmosphere that had enveloped little Elly and for the first time in his life did he realize why. It almost made his blood boil. But, no, for her sake, he'd be a nice little boy. Clearing his throat and looking in the wraith's direction (or rather through him), the boy spoke. "I'm sorry I made fun of you.. it was unnecessarilly cruel."
But because he was a young boy that had never fallen in love, Teddy couldn't understand the pain of having his heart broken. As soon as the boy apologized, those two little hands gravitated toward each other in a tight clasp.
"May we go now, Mr. Duellist Sir?"
