Yeah, I gotta say I like it. I also like that GW is trying to incorporate the base into the model itself in more and more instances.
It started with the plastic dread (or probably something in FB, really) and it's only gotten better. 3nodding

You have to admit, they are looking very similar. They'd best not overuse this.

Well, it's been the odd slate and rock with the new Cadians back then, some marine characters perching on a stone and if I am allowed to go way back, the odd chaos lord putting his boot on a loyalist marine helmet. It's a little extra drama.

Lt. Brookman Well, it's been the odd slate and rock with the new Cadians back then, some marine characters perching on a stone and if I am allowed to go way back, the odd chaos lord putting his boot on a loyalist marine helmet. It's a little extra drama. But if they keep it up, like they are doing, then the designs are going to lose the charm they possess very quickly. For example, having all your Exarchs and leaders standing on a pile of generic rubble/bodies/wraithbone. Just... meh.

I've always customized my bases myself.
Anyway, I'm almost finished with my Eldar kill-team that I started working on 2 years ago!

So it can deal with almost any threat, pretty much?
Are you able to have Exarchs?

Fair enough, but I imagine a Warp Spider Exarch with Dual Death Spinners would be very powerful.

My only question at the moment is how much the new Eldar codex will change them...

That's pretty neat. I thought combat patrol was 1 HQ and 2 Troop with no unit cohesion. (If that's the right word.)

Yeah, that's a fair point.
Has there been a release date announced?

-Mykal Combat patrol is completely different from Kill-team. Look it up in the 4th ed. Rulebook.
