I made threads, but no one seems inclined to reply crying so I thought I'd stop in here.
I'm Vague, nice to meet you, this guild's potential intrigues me. I am an old Gaian, been here since June '03, and the Captain of Gaia's oldest surviving Gay Guild.
I stayed mostly in GD, then retreated to guilds, with a couple of forays into other forums. Since the advent of the GGN, I am rarely seen on normal Gaia. My excursion into Q&A when guilds were down the other day is a notable exception. This is even more true since, during a period of absence on my part, Kokoryta unceremoniously and without warning deleted our venerable old thread. Between that and the prior lost thread, we must have had several thousand pages of history... But life goes on, in the Guild, on Gaia, and everywhere else.

Meteuro, but I don't like that name anymore. My real name is Zac, but online people have taken to the trend of calling me Mete. Anyway. I live in Queensland, Australia. It's the big pointy one in the top-right, for all you crazy foreign-types. I have fifteen years under my belt and am a guy.
My interests mainly revolve around the arts, whether it be music, visual art or literature. Musical acts I like are Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Air, At The Drive-In, The Avalanches, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the like. The kind of art I like are usually quirky stencil works (such as a painting in my kitchen of Campbell's Soup, but in spray cans). This changes alot. Right now I'm fairly interested in the Pop Art movement. The books I read most are Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, A Series of Unfortunate Events by Daniel Handler, Rubicon by Agnaar Myrkle (I think) and the Hornblower series by C.S. Forrestor. The Sydney Morning Herald is my newspaper of choice and I listen to Triple J. Also: My favourite movies are Amelie, Anchorman, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Apocalypse Now and Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth.
Evangelion is the only anime I have really enjoyed, too.
Right now I'm in grade ten at school. An all-boys, private school, unfortunately. I
And: I used to debate as part of a local competition and still enjoy it. Namely political, ethical or scientific debates.
Also: My favourite subjects at school are Chemistry, French and Art.
And: I'm running late.
Edit: I forgot the Usual Suspects in my movie list, which will probably never be completed to my satisfaction. Damn. Now I'm later.

And I here I was thinking that you would all be elitist. Thank you kindly for the warm reception.
Lateness update: Everything turned out alright in the end. All's well that ends well.

We're not so much elitist as we are just... desperately wanting this to stay an intelligent place to post and converse. We have our moments of assery much like GD but at least it's rare and in good fun when it happens. But for the most part, we're an amiable bunch.

Thank God for that. This place is everything I was hoping and more. Also: It seems to have a nice smell to it. How that is, exactly, still confuses me.
