((I don't know why you didn't see that coming. Lol... Brook wouldn't have just knocked her over the head, she probably would've been more likely to mutilate her....))

Brook watched as he grabbed the crystals. She half-expected him to throw a set around her, but was pleasantly suprised that he hadn't put the set around her. "Anyway, I'll let you guys continue your little escapade to try and kill me, and should I survive any of your attacks and retaliate, remember you made the first move." She said, sneering a bit as she walked out of the house. She was more pissed at Mark and Austin then she led on. She'd suspected such a thing from Jon. He'd always hated her, but not Austin.

((Question: Why does Jon hate Brook so much?))

Nicole was still out cold. They'd need some kind of counter potion to wake her.

((Ok, I remember now. (or at least I think I do. If not, I just made up a new reason.) It was supposed to be a plot twist of some sort.))

((Wow, you were on early (or late depending on where you live). If I had known you were on I would'a posted then. I woke up around 3 my time today and never went back to sleep.))

"I'm not going to beat around the bush here. Who are you, what are you, and why were you posing as Jen." He pulled out a bottle of Crazy Zack's Crystal Cage Zappers 'Guaranteed to bring the info out of any caged creature.' He had never gotten the opportunity to use them before, and didnt know how much to use on each toss. He wanted to torture her, but he didnt know whether or not he could kill her if he used too much. He waved the bottle in front of her, hoping she'd know what they were.

Austin rolled his eyes again. He could tell Jon was on edge.

Mark jumped a little in glee when he saw the cage zappers. They were a favorite of his, only through experience of course. He was never able to use them since he was not a witch, but he always had an appreciation for torture, even if he was the one being tortured.

Jon accidentally dropped the zapper he was holding, causing Nicole to feel the end-result of it. "Sorry bout that." His expression, however, didn't tell the same story.

Austin rolled his eyes, only to realize all of the rolling was causing his head to hurt. With a sarcastic, half humored tone he retorted "Jon, I'm upset about this chic impersonating Jen as well, but there's no reason to go around 'accidentally' dropping zappers all over the place."

"Sure there is! Here, hand me the bottle. I'll show you what she's really hiding..."

Disregarding the two of them, Jon interupted Mark's torture happy rant "Maddie!!"

Mark shimmered out at the first sight of Maddie. He had dealt with her in the past, and barely lived to tell about it.

"She impersonated Jen!" Jon yelled, not realizing his tone.

Unlike Jon, Austin was already over Jen's death. The effect of dying so many times himself most likely. "Are you ok? Why were those demons after you?"

Ignoring Austin's sympathetic question, Jon interrupted without caring about Maddie's answer. "Why the heck did the elders send a whitelighter to put the coven back together? And without telling us? What the heck is wrong with those old fogies! Cant they think of a less emotionally wrecking way of bringing people together?" He hadn't realized her was ranting again.

Jon calmed down and looked deep into Maddie's eyes. "If she is part of the coven, then she's the only one." He slowly turned to find a chair, where he sat down with a heavy sigh. "Matt's dead and Dan... well, none of us know where Dan went off to. There is no more Dicio Coven. Not anymore."

"Yeah, cuz, well... impossible doesn't seem to count when it comes to us." Austin let out a small snort when he realized how corny and storybook-ish he just sounded. "Listen I've died..." he began counting on his fingers. "...three times now, and I'm still here. You've taken in the power of the wind's spirit lived to tell about it." He turned to Maddie, "and you've healed us god knows how many times." He stopped himself from the usual roll of his eyes, while still trying to prepare for the corniness that was about to flow from his mouth. "We may not be a coven, but we're still a team. And together we can conquer anything that stands in our way!"

Jon just stared at him, his eyes half glazed over, with an eyebrow raised and hint of a smirk on his slightly opened mouth. There was nothing but silence for a good minute or so before Jon erupted in laughter. "That...was... the FUNNIEST thing....I have ever.... ever.... ev... HA!!!" He tried for a moment to contain himself, but gave up the battle quickly after starting it.

Maybe he just needed a reason to laugh, maybe what Austin said was really that corny. He didn't know. He didn't care. He just laughed.

Austin stood silent, accepting the humiliation he knew he would recieve. "Er... right then." He didn't bother addressing Jon, who was too busy trying to breathe to be coherent enough for conversation. "Whats our next move....?"

Austin almost made a suggestion, realizing he was a vampire and could easily sneak into their stronghold, but quickly forgot about it when he remembered that killing the queen causes all of her minions to die as well. ((At least thats how I think I remember it...))

"We could always ask... where'd Mark go?" He looked around the room. "He was just hear a second ago..."
