The Firecrackr ya once you learn them they are probably easy but i havent lerned them and probably wont You could just ask for a fingering chart from your director or ask for help from one of the trombone players at your school. I learned trombone to baritone fingerings in like 5 minutes, literately.

Trombone Position Chart :]valves = position open = 1 2 = 2 1 = 3 12 = 4 23 = 5 13 = 6 123 = 7 Does that help? By the way position are different for everyone. There is no exact 4 or exact 2 or anything. You move your slide in or out to get it better in tune. High Bflat is the only one you're supposed to use a tuner on and move your tuning slide, I think... It's either that or F.

[SpontaneousSpaz] High Bflat is the only one you're supposed to use a tuner on and move your tuning slide, I think... It's either that or F. Doesn't matter both are the same place, it depends on how your school tunes, really it should be F since it's a natural in concert, we are not suppose to have to transpose I play Baritone and probably will learn trombone soon for jazz band next year, the trombone section lead (who is a junior) wants me to learn because they are going to lose a lot of the "jazzy" trombonists And i have no school this week, but i sill have band for 2 days... and truthfully i wouldn't have it any other way

I love jazz band. We're playing a song called "The Movement" and "Get it On", they're awesome. :]

I had three days of school this week. >_< my bro has the whole week off.
I'm thinking I want to learn alto sax so I can be in jazz band next year. I would do trombone (I really do like the trombone) but trombones are too expensive. (pshh...expensive...and I also play the tuba, now talk about expensive...xD) Also, even though if I didn't switch to tuba last year I would've done trombone, I wanted to play sax for a really long time (about four or five years...xD).
I love the tuba though, and I love my section, and I'm really glad I picked tuba and didn't listen to ben.
