After successfully pulling Orton over into a seated position, Mason would back up a bit before running and going for a dropkick to the back of his opponent.

Randy Orton defenseless, would be drop kicked from behind. Forcing him to roll over onto the mat, shielding the back of his skull. Fans would begin to boo as Aleks Mason had seized control early in the match. He wasn't an average wrestler, that was for sure.

Mason would stalk the downed Orton, looking to stomp away at his upper body

Randy Orton would be stomped a few times before rolling out of the ring, providing himself some breather. One fan would take this time to vocalize, shouting "Kick his a**, Randy! which were contributions to ongoing dislike of Aleks Mason. Orton stood outside, trying to shake some of the damage he had taken throughout the start of this match.

Mason would roll out the ring on another side than where Randy exited. He would laugh as he heard fans behind Orton. Mason would run towards Orton from behind, and attempt to grab him by the head and trunks to send him back first into the barricade

Randy Orton was a bit distracted, recovering to have noticed his opponent slighter on to the outside but once he ran after Orton, Orton would have time to counter. In Aleks Mason's motion of grabbing a hold of Orton, Orton would quickly transition behind him and instead, attempt to elbow him in the back of the skull.

Mason was completely caught off guard by the recovery of Orton here in this match. He would receive a huge elbow to the back of the head. He fell forward, catching himself on the barricade and began to favor the back of his head as fans, despite disliking him, starting patting his shoulders

Randy Orton would waste no time fighting his way back into this match, he would follow up successfully countering Aleks Mason by grabbing the back of his head and dragging him back. Orton would tail him the whole way, sliding in immediately after.

Mason would be tossed into the ring, rolling into the center. He would slowly begin to get to his feet as Orton returned to the ring as well.

Randy Orton knew he couldn't let up even for a second, he was well aware of Aleks Mason's energy level. He would attempt a basic right-hand strike, trying to stun Mason more than anything.

Once Mason got to his feet, he was met with a right hand by Orton, causing him to stumble back a bit

Randy Orton would connect with Mason's jaw forcing Mason to stumble back. He would then attempt to Irish whip Mason to the opposite set of ropes.

Mason would be tossed into the ropes, hitting them with his back and bouncing off. He would be in motion running towards Orton.

Randy Orton would patiently wait for Mason to return to him, once he did Mason would attempt a shoulder block--forcing Mason to hit the mat.

Mason would quickly be stopped in his tracks and would be hit with the shoulder, causing him to fall straight onto his back
